Pacific Driver Education

I use Unilocal all the time to check out what other people think about various businesses, so I decided that I should finally contribute my own input. I am happy to recommend Pacific Driver Education in my first review. We weren’t thrilled with the idea of paying someone to teach our son to do something it felt like he could learn from us, but it was money well spent. Our son is an extremely reluctant driver. We had to «force» him to get his permit, and he would constantly refuse to drive. He recently graduated from high school and was about to turn 18, so we really needed to make a push to help him get his driver’s license. I liked the idea of avoiding a stressful driving test at the DMV, which would possibly require a repeat visit. I knew he would do much better taking the test with someone he had developed a rapport with. His instructor, Pao, was awesome! He put my son at ease right away. It is hard for him to pay attention in classroom settings, so I was amazed by how much he learned in class. I was impressed with every interaction I had with the various staff members of Pacific Driver Education. Even the required parent introduction night, which we were dreading, was actually quite informative and entertaining. We are very happy with the decision to enroll our son here.

Josh & team did a great job of working with my daughter in a way that helped her grow (without panicking) and gave us the confidence to sit alongside her when she drove with us (parents). We appreciate their time and flexibility around summer schedules and general crazy lives.

The staff are amazing with the students. This driver ed program is extremely thorough and as a parent of a new driver, I felt completely confident they would teach my daughter some mad driver skills that she would retain forever. Josh uses lots of humor to keep the students engaged and at the parent orientation I went to, he had us laughing after awhile. By completing this driver training program, my daughter will not have to do the driver test with DMV when she goes to get her license, because this is an ODOT program. Highly recommend it.
