Little Genius Montessori

The staff and Teachers at Little Genius have provided a loving and structured environment for my daughter since before her 1^st birthday. The teachers are always available to guide me and answer questions I have in navigating the journey of parenting my suborn, outgoing, and energetic girl. I’ve watched my daughter grow and flourish in the Montessori environment becoming an Independent, productive, and joyful child. In the mornings My little is all smiles and excited to go learn and «play» as she says with her «friends». I love the Montessori way that allows the children to freely move around the room cooking, cleaning, making art, caring for animals, library corner, etc. in a way that encourages independence while still having the support and/​or guidance as it is needed. I attribute much of the credit to this amazing little girl I’m raising to the team work between me and these amazing teachers who guide my child while I am working or in classes of my own. The caring and person touch of the directors and teachers in this facility has made a huge impact on both mine and my daughters lives. At 19 months old I was ready to cut the apron strings and let my daughter enroll in a day care so that I could concentrate on building my real estate business. I knew I wanted it to be a montessori because I wanted her time away from me to be meaningful and productive. Surprisingly, this is the only one within a 10 mile radius that takes toddlers (and infants). They offer flexible hours from 1 – 5 days/​week including half days and have a very large indoor/​outdoor facility to accommodate all the different age groups. The two owners/​directors are always on-​site so I have peace of mind that my daughter is being well cared for. The first week (at two 8-​hour days) went surprisingly well and she had no issues with separation anxiety. She has been attending for 5 weeks now and is still happy to be dropped off. She’s become very independent and I would highly recommend Little Genius to other working mothers or to those just needing a break (I don’t know how I survived without two full days to myself!) I’m glad to have found a montessori that provide programs for infants/​toddlers and will continue to take my daughter here as long as we live in the area.
