Pinnacle At Denver Tech Center

Don’t do it. My girlfriend moved in here after moving from Michigan due to its cheaper prices, and location. After months of living there, we noticed many issues with the billing. Clearly, they do not use real accountants, and contact via email with the managers was non-​existent. The apt was sold to Pinnacle, who brought in new staff which was just as bad as the original.
On move out, they got us by not filling out the 60 move out notice, which was 2 weeks late. So they trapped us into a market value amount for the apt, which rose $ 700! We sucked it up, and paid the cost, however on the last month living there rent was due for $ 390, this was over the holiday weekend and had to pay via check while out of state, we had to open an account and get money in there before they cashed the check.
Unfortunately we were late to doing so, and the rent became late at 10% of the rent, which shouldve been $ 390. However, they based it off a full months rent even though we were only going to be there for 6 days, at $ 390. This was a great way for them to rake in an extra $ 140.
I went into speak with the manager Denise, she proceeded to bring up issues due to dog damage, in which we were never contesting. She did this in front of a stranger, in order to paint us as bad renters.
When asked for a market value analysis to see where they got their numbers from, she provided me the wrong paper, either out of frustration or she has no idea what shes doing. A $ 700 increase is absurd.
Save yourself the trouble, pay an extra $ 50 a month for rent, and find a better place to live. They have continuously sold the property to new companies, requiring paint jobs that were not necessary. I read negative reviews when we moved, but couldnt imagine how bad it would be. Sadly, I feel bad for the staff, and that they represent a place like that. This could explain, the lack of professionalism that occurs there. Glad that mess is over.

SO GROSS!!! WORMS! Lived there for about a year and a half. We have called and contacted management numerous times about these gross worms that seep through the carpet every single day! I have to vacuum more than twice a day to get the worms that have come through the carpet. I have called the management numerous times about this and they refuse to do anything. They also are WAY over priced, management is awful, and the business center is a joke. DONT LIVE HERE!

I have lived at the Viridian (then Pinnacle at DTC) Apartment Complex since March 8, 2014. Since that month, I have requested to move out, as the company misrepresented what they provide. Since that day, there have been multiple issues, including, but not limited to, broken fireplace which emits gas fumes, unsanitary move-​in conditions, flooding of my rental unit without water damage repair, destroying the carpet and my personal affects, mold due to the flooding, warped walls and window frames due to the flooding, the threat of erroneous late rental charges, cigarette and marijuana smoke in my unit, hazardous fumes from painting with epoxy on balconies with windows which do not seal, fire code violations preventing egress, excessive police responses (192 in the span of four months), excessive noise, lack of hot water to my unit for three days, and most recently, a maintenance person who took it upon himself to enter my unit, with a key, unannounced and without permission, at 11 p.m. at night. Criminal police charges are in the process of being sought. The incidents violate the Colorado Revised Statutes, and the company has failed to comply with their lease terms, including the right to peaceful enjoyment, and the habitability code. This does not even begin to cover the unsanitary conditions of the gym, restrooms, pool, and other facilities. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

This is by far the worst place to live in DTC. From poor maintenance to the ridiculous parking situation, DTC doesn’t get any worse then this. The management staff has absolutely no idea what they’re doing. If you decide to live here, make sure you have a lawyer double check your lease. Everything is a clerical error on their part, yet you pay the price. The amount you pay for what you get is ridiculous. The apartments are old and in need of serious renovation. Think twice before you sign a lease.

I moved out of joint partly because of the building/​residents, but mostly because I hated living in DTC.
I always thought I was going through life as I was supposed to: get BS, get Master, get a job down south, move down south, white picket fence, happily every after… etc. I hated it! Greenwood Village is full of snobs & people trying to get to snobiness (is that a word? copyrighted right now if not!). The city shuts down at about 9PM… lame.
As far as the building, it wasn’t too bad when I first moved in. But dogs… their dog rules blow. If you live above the 1^st floor, your dog weight limit is 30 lbs (i.e. yipper dogs — high-​pitched barking all day long). If you live on 1^st floor, like myself — no dog weight limit; Meaning large dog barking all day long.
Sounds from the hallways are loud. Ceiling above you is loud.
Rent was $ 710/​month. When I went month-​to-​month, they said it would go up by $ 80 + $ 200 for going month-​to-​month. Okay… will do. Despite me believing that this means my rent goes up by $ 80 and I have to pay a one time fee of $ 200, what it really meant was my rent went up by $ 280/​month! Just say that then… I would’ve left a lot sooner!
Also, when I moved in, they told me it was standard to have all carpets replaced when new residents moved in. I’m a fairly clean guy, so mine weren’t that dirty when I moved out. They took $ 60 out of deposit to steam clean. They weren’t dirty! Ugh! Feel like I got raped on the way out of this place.
That being said, it is the cheapest place in DTC, so if you HAVE to move there, this would probably be a good place to start.

You know, I only lived here for a year so I can’t say anything really bad about this place.
My only complaint is the speed bumps in the parking garage. Seriously!!! Why do you need 4 on every level? After driving up them once, no *guest* in their right mind would park on the 5^th floor! It takes 15 min just to get up there. My ex-​boyfriend used to tell me that when he woke up in the morning, he’d be in such a great mood but by the time he got down to the bottom, his day would be soured by the 15 min. drive down. Also, if you’re going to get an apartment by the stairwell, make sure to complain about the doors. Nothing is worst then the slamming of the door at 6 AM on a Saturday. Your other option is to get earplugs.
Over all, this place was good. The amenities are nice and the staff is friendly.
