We love coffee, and so should you. Coffee Café Roasters is dedicated in creating the perfect experience that you can enjoy in the grasp of your hands. Our roaster is located in the store so you know that all our coffee beans are fresh and ready when you arrive.

History

Established in 2012.

We began roasting coffee at Greenwich Connecticut the late fall of 2012 and ever since than have expanded our customers from towns near us such as stamford and portchester.

I’m a 24 year old young entrepreneur who has lived in Greenwich Connecticut all my life. I have gone through seeing what my town really needs and I have the opportunity to not be afraid of trying to create a coffee shop that can maybe one day spread around our fairfield county.

Driving from NYC to Boston I couldn’t bring myself to do the Starbucks or Dunkin highway rest stop. This place was totally worth the five minute detour from 95 — one of the better dirty chai latte’s I’ve ever had. A little bit sweeter but in a great way. Service was friendly and quick and I always commend a place that can do a great froth using soy milk. Nailed it!

Too expensive for watered down coffee. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Might as well go to Dunkin for a better price, and more quality coffee. Customer service pretty terrible too, no knowledge on coffee. So sad. Never again…

Favorite coffee in Greenwich and outside of NYC. Fresh beans, good selection of pastries. Quality of coffee v (espresso drinks variety) varies, though, as turnover of barista has been high. Long line in the mornings, which makes the wait too long.

Go here all the time. Nice décor! Coffee is excellent, way way better than Brand S. They make leaves in your cappuccino! Service is friendly and no one wears stupid green uniforms (including hats)! The baked goods are fresh and full of gluten and sugar! Lots of good coffee and non coffee drink options! Why go anywhere else? Drink Local!

Coffee is good, but not so friendly customer service. I asked for a «small» coffee, the lady behind the counter thought she heard «tall», to which she smirked, paused, and in a condescending tone said «no Starbucks lingo here.» I repeated small, and she did say sorry which was good, but she shouldn’t have jumped at the chance to try and be «cooler» than a customer.

Fabulous location on the Ave in Greenwich. Very friendly, knowledge and helpful staff. They roast their own beans on location and the environment is perfect for a quite conversation or to get some good work done.

Great Café, plenty of seating inside love the large coffee grinder in the front where they grind their own coffee. The music is low key and calming, not crazy loud. There is coffee chart with pictures of each coffee type and pricing clearly displayed behind the counter. The temperature inside was just right not freezing cold, like Starbucks that is down the block. I ordered the Cappuccino that was delicious and a sandwich: Prosciutto, cheese, sun dried tomatoes on Ciabatta Bread that was grilled, this was also yummy :-) FORGET about going to STARBUCKS! I am so over that place. When I am in this area again I am definitely coming back here for coffee and a sandwich.

Coffee is good but unfortunately the service is terrible. I waited in line for ten minutes with the staff completely ignoring me. I eventually got their attention and they barked at me that I was on the wrong end of the line. Why wait to tell me that?! Had to go to the end of the line, eventually a woman served me. I asked for an iced latte to stay and she told me she would have to serve it in a plastic cup. I said that’s fine and wait for coffee. Next customer then orders the same thing and they both come out at the same time. Hers in a beautiful glass, mine in a plastic cup. I didn’t bother taking a table at that point and won’t be back.

I have been going to this place on weekends for almost a year. Never once have I had a bad experience.
I usually get coffee or an espresso drink and I’ve tried most of the pastries. The best thing I’ve had there is the yogurt and granola with fresh fruit. Don’t know where they get their yogurt but it’s delicious. They also get village bagels every morning.
The coffee is very good. This is an upscale greenwich coffee place so don’t expect a bargain. Also if you order an espresso drink or one of the delicious pour overs expect them to take their time and make it just right.
I’ll keep going back; rent on greenwich ave isn’t cheap so I hope they stick around.

If I am not dying and running around looking for a mimosa or straight whiskey on Greenwich Ave, this coffee house is where I’ll go! Their coffee is exceptional. Even with a Starbucks down the street, I will easily turn that down for this!
Great selection of treats and breakfast as well as all kinds of fancy coffee. I am a black coffee no cream no sugar type of guy. Yes basic but I like it. Their coffee is so dark and strong it makes Starbucks dark roast taste like a wine cooler. Awesome staff and great place to just relax in the morning or take a break after Saks Fifth Ave across the street or Miller Motorcar rips your wallet apart.

This is a great place for specialty coffee. A bit overpriced, but at least you can tell the difference! I also like their chai tea latte, pretty yummy.
The people working there are pretty friendly, remember who you and make conversation with the customers but without being too overfamiliar or weird about it.
Overall, good place if you are looking for something a bit more special and for an alternative to burnt coffee from starbucks

I LOVED this coffee. They know how to make a great cappuccino and the milk is perfectly frothed!
I had written a great review for them but I have to say that the staff is not my favorite.
The first time I went: The customer service was good and the staff was ok, not too friendly.
The second time I went there were 3 people behind the counter and the place was empty and the service horrible. I don’t know which person was the rudest!

I love the coffee here but not the experience with one worker. She is a short Tom boyish young lady who was rude to me today and kind of cold and very unfriendly in the way she treats and speaks to me (a few days ago a few times) Today is the 3rd time but this time it was a bit too rude. I ordered extra shots to my coffee and she repeated what I asked for as though it was a crazy order. Then she said in an very unfriendly tone, «We don’t have that drink today. We can’t make that for you».
I don’t understand why she talks to me as though I am offending her or as though
I did or doing something bad to her or is she rude with everyone? I think a cute place like that should have workers that are polite and kind with customers at all times. I feel so disappointed with this coffee place.

Their cappuccino is fantastic and mochas are perfect not to sweet. Great lighting and service. Atmosphere is fantastic and convenient to shops. Maybe my favorite mocha of all time. Greenwich needed a superior coffee shop and now it has one.

Very cute coffee shop with very quick service, but I didn’t love the coffee itself. I got a decaf latte, and I felt it didn’t taste like much. However, it has a great ambiance and they don’t rush you out when you sit at a table.
