Kitchen sink was clogged. Great service. Arrived on time and the service was extremely fast.

After a bad back up /​flood in the basement we called Tony at Drain Flow after reading the reviews here. Was not disappointed. Tony and his team responded same day and evaluated the issue. After a thorough inspection with the pipe camera, they found a massive tree root and debris blockage at the main house drain which I otherwise had no idea about and could have caused even more severe flooding! Tony and his team removed the blockage and provided a CD video of the newly flowing pipe. You can’t go wrong with Drain Flow, very honest, reliable and reasonable. Definitely reach out to them for any plumbing needs.

My newly renovated bathroom sink drain clogged. I called my general contractor to fix, but 2 hours later with a huge disgusting mess, drain still not working… I «yelped», and found Drain Flow. I’m very happy with Tony’s service, professional, efficient, meticulous.
a) very responsive: I called, no answer, but within a minute I got a SMS stated that he was on a job, asked me to text back with my address and the problem. He then text back to arrange a time;
b) efficient: Tony is very experienced. He came in, within 20 min solved the problem. He further explained what mistake my contractor made.
c) meticulous: in contrast to my contractor, Tony meticulously cleaned up everything including the mess my contractor left behind.
I have to say Tony’s price is a bit on the expensive side, but I feel it worth every penny. If I could give 10 stars, Tony deserves a perfect 10!

We were having an issue with food particles flowing into our dishwasher, which essentially made our dishwasher useless. I called Tony as I was hoping it had to do with the drainage and not the appliances. Tony made it over to our apartment in less than 24 hours. His diagnoses was that our drain line was at a weird angle causing water to flow the wrong way. Long story short, we rearranged the tubing, and didn’t charge us anything. Super responsive, super professional. If we have any other plumbing issues in the future we will be sure to call Tony first!

They are easy to work with. Got a schedule within 24 hours right away with no extra charge. Thought I had a leak on my bath tub all the way to the basement. They found out it was actually the kitchen sink. They changed a few item under my sink. Price was pretty reasonable.
Had to call them back again as another leak in the basement happened. Tony came back within two hours, checked the pipe and found another source. He recommended I do it myself to save money as it is that easy to fix. He taught me how to do it and where to buy items. He left me sealing tape too. He did not charge me anything for this visit. Thanks Tony. What can I say? 5 star of course.

First time using them I had a problem with my faucet. A part on the faucet was missing. They replaced it quickly. We’re very helpful.

My garbage disposal broke suddenly and needed someone to fix it asap. My usual plumber was on vacation so I contacted these guys. The owner responded within 10 – 15 min to set up a time to have the disposal fixed. The plumbers came promptly at the arranged time. They not only fixed my disposal but other issues they noticed I had in my pipes under the sink.
They were very polite, professional and explained the issues well and answered all my questions. Having had plumbing work done in the past by other companies, I thought their rates were reasonable.
I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for quality service!

i’m having a bad dream here. tony from drainflow was recommended by a friend. our shower stopped working. they came by thursday late afternoon to look. said they’d be back the next day to fix it. waited all day yesterday. they came by, said they’d come back the next day and to leave a check for $ 700. 5 people are waiting to shower. waiting for them to show. i text him late this afternoon– are u almost here? he texts me back: on my way ! then he texts me: «you’re going to have to pay cash make arrangements to have the $ 700 cash there i will take care of it. no receipts». starting to sound like a bad mafia film.
i texted him back: people are waiting for you. the check is there as agreed. then i called him. no answer. highly unprofessional.
almost an hour ago and still no response. everyone waiting for a shower. i told other plumbers not to come and here we sit. bad dream. hoping this gets rectified.

What great service! Ralph and JT were resilient on fixing my plumbing issue. A clogged sink from hell is what I had, until they showed up and fix it. They left me with a clean and clogged free bathroom. Thanks again.

Prompt, efficient, and professional. Hot water heater blew out in Dorchester, they were by far the most reasonably priced and certainly the fastest. Tried calling several other services and no one could come for 2 days and prices averaged mostly double what Drain Flow provided.
I will definitely be using them again for any plumbing heating needs.

Amazing service!
They arrived within an hour after I called about a clogged toilet. Unfortunately the problem costed $ 300 to fix. But it is understandable as the entire toilet had to be removed…
Nonetheless the plumbers were kind and respectful. The found out the issue was paper towels clogging. He said this was most likely caused by previous tenants as I had just moved in. When writing the work order, he was specific in writing in a manner that showed the toilet issues were caused by negligence by the landlord to maintain standard toilet conditions.
I will definitely call them for any future plumbing emergencies.

Impressively flexible and prompt service. They recognize the unique needs of the house and respond right away (good team work between the workers). Identified other issues and implemented competitively priced solutions on the spot. They provided a long warranty, which speaks to how much they trust in their work.

Our shower was coming out hot, without being able to adjust it to warm or cold. Anthony came in & solved the problem in 30 minutes. He was prompt (got here when he said he would be here) and asked the right questions to find out what we needed done. I highly recommend them!

We called Tony this morning to finally deal with our old screwy plumbing under our kitchen sink and have it set up for a garbage disposal. Tony answered right away and asked to send a few pictures to him so he could assess the issue. He gave us a quote immediately and let us know he could come by in a few days. Luckily, he was able to stop by only a few hours later. Tony and Ralph were amazing and after less than an hour he fixed our plumbing and installed a new disposal. Best part was that it was easier than he expected so he was able to charge us less than the estimate!
Tony and Ralph were amazing and i would recommend them to anyone and the next time I need a plumber there will be no question who I will call.

If I could give more than five stars I would! My experience with Anthony and Ralph was exceptional from start to finish.
After calling a number of other companies in Brookline who told me I would have to wait at least a week and a half for service for my jammed kitchen sink and gave me outrageous price quotes (my favorite is the company that told me I would still be charged the $ 50 travel fee even after I pointed out that they were located FIVE BLOCKS from my apartment), I found Drain Flow.
Tony was able to squeeze me in just an hour after I called. He was communicative, updating me on his ETA via text so that I was not just trapped in my apartment waiting for him. Tony and Ralph were a polite, quick, and efficient team. I was very comfortable alone with each of them in my apartment — they were friendly and easy to chat with while they worked, but very professional.
When they finished the job, they did a more thorough clean up than I even do in my own kitchen and left the place spotless. I highly recommend Tony and his team– they made a potentially miserable experience completely painless and easy!

I’m a heavy Unilocal user for food/​booze/​social stuff when traveling in strange cities for work and tend to stick to Angies List for contractor/​service stuff. Not the case today — so so so glad I found these folks on Unilocal after a few frustrating AL interactions with other providers.
Same day service; fast and timely interaction via text messages and a fixed fee for solving a nasty slow drain problem in one of the bathrooms. Super friendly and full of advice while onsite as well. Fantastic all around.

Nobody likes having to call a plumber but drain flow made what could have been a really frustrating experience awesome! Tony and Ralph were professional, efficient and great to work with. I got my water heater replaced after I flooded the basement. It’s not a cheap job but the guys at drain flow got me a great model with a warranty while still keeping the price comparable to other plumbers that would have charged. My neighbor actually just got his replaced recently and paid the same price for a lesser quality model with only a 1 year warranty.
I only wish I knew about these guys sooner! I definitely recommend them! If you want fast, friendly, reliable service these are your guys. I’ve worked with other companies and these guys put them to shame.

Reiterating a 5-​star rating on Drain Flow. In all candor, who really wants to spend money on a plumber? It won’t be cheap, and calling one usually means you have an irritating problem. Plus, you’re rolling the dice on whether you’ll get responsive, competent, honest service. A win for me is finding a plumber (or any trade/​contractor) who returns calls, knows his trade, behaves professionally, shows up on time (or at all), and won’t try to rip me off. That’s Anthony.
He came out a couple of weeks ago to replace a hot water heater that was on its way out. The hot water was brown but the cold was clear. The galling thing about this situation is that the heater was just 6 years old and had a 12-​year warranty. But the plumber who installed it (before I knew about Drain Flow) never put in the anodizing rods. And he never registered the heater with the manufacturer. And get this, the plumber is someone I know from my neighborhood and with whom I was friendly. Go figure. Anyway, Anthony handled the issue with his supplier, got me a replacement under warranty, and installed a heater that’s producing water hotter than we’ve had in years.
His helper cleared a main drain and Anthony found and fixed a problem I wasn’t aware of: a faulty toilet shut off valve. That could have been a serious issue.
Anthony is busy, so I recommend pulling together a list of things that need to be addressed to maximize value for yourself and Drain Flow.
