Meet the Business Owner

Hank F.

Business Owner

Hank Ferlauto has spent many years of his life cooking for others in many venues. Sit down dinner parties for 20 to 40 persons were not uncommon. His cooking experience is extensive and his love for Italy and Italian food is unending. Hank studied in Piemonte, Italy at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners (ICIF) where he learned many delicious and authentic recipes from a variety of the regions in Italy. Subsequent to that, he worked an internship in NYC at San Domenico Restaurant where he experienced the workings of a high-end Italian restaurant. San Domenico, now renamed SD26, is located on 26th Street in NYC.

A frequent visitor of Italy, Hank has visited most of the twenty regions and has learned much about his heritage. His grandparents were from the regions of Sicily and Basilicata. His love of Italy caused him to obtain Italian citizenship through his paternal grandfather’s lineage. Now, with dual passports, he can travel extensively through the European Union.
