History

Established in 2012.

Formerly The Victorian Lady Inn B&B (and Risky Business, prior to that) this historical site was originally built by Jeremy Stone in the late 1850s for his wife Rosina Farrington — the first schoolteacher, the first bride and the first dress maker in Grass valley.

Meet the Business Owner

John and Janet Lamb L.

Business Owner

John and Janet Lamb relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area where they both attended Hillsdale High School in San Mateo. After graduating from San Diego State University, they returned to the Bay Area and raised their beautiful family in San Carlos.

The Lambs share a rich history of varied careers. Their combined experience and jobs span the food service industry, retail market, park and recreation departments, building houses, human resource management, child & parent education, and coaching. Janet has spent the last several years «Inn sitting» for vacationing B&B owners in Sebastopol, Sonoma and Monterey.
