Established in 1978.

Quackenbush’s Production Goldsmiths has been in business in the Gold Country area of Nevada County since 1978. Our founder Paul Quackenbush created this company as a one man organization in the basement of his home. In the ensuing 37 years he successfully managed the company into a thriving business, inhabiting a 2800 square foot building with over a dozen employees! Paul’s reputation in the industry and the community exceeds all others especially in the arena of quality workmanship and friendly customer service.

Today the company is owned by James Tortolano who brings his 30 plus years of experience in running a small business to Quackenbush’s Production Goldsmiths. James has been with the company since 2012 as manager of operations. His expertise in financial management and customer service provides the experience necessary for the company to succeed in today’s challenging business environment.
