Description

Specialties

Enjoy Texas cuisine, live music, karaōke and Buzztime trivia in historic downtown Grapevine. Brisket is smoked 12hrs onsite and pairs nicely with our house-recipe Texas Margarita. Try one of our legendary Porch Burgers with an ice-cold Shiner or maybe our Salmon Salad with a glass of Kendall Jackson chardonnay. Whatever you choose, it’ll be served with our legendary Texas hospitality!

History

Established in 2004.

The Back Porch was founded with the concept of «adding a touch of Nashville to downtown Grapevine.» The business has deep roots in both music and the Grapevine community. Cody Jinks, The Tejas Brothers, and The Michael Lee Band performed there early in their careers. Although it was sold in 2015, The Back Porch’s musical legacy lives on with live radio broadcasts, karaōke and a host of up-and-coming acts hoping to be discovered. In the last year, the new owners have added a gourmet Texas menu to the Porch’s rich legacy along with upgrades designed to create an «upscale country-western» experience. Enjoy great Texas food, music and good times in a non-smoking vapor-friendly environment.

Meet the Business Owner

Robert and Wendy R.

Business Owner

Robert and Wendy fell in love with the fun, friendly atmosphere of this Grapevine neighborhood icon and purchased the bar/restaurant in April, 2015. They’re looking to bring high quality Texas cuisine and create a place where friends and neighbors enjoy great music, food, cold beer and just hanging-out with each other.

Join them for trivia and karaōke during the week and music and dancin’ all weekend. Whether you’re new in town, visiting, or living just around the corner, you’ll be treated like an old friend. And, as we say, friends are family and family is always welcome on the back porch!
