I just a got Toyota Tundra SR5 Off road from Texas Toyota of Grapevine on Saturday. Overall experience was as smooth as it could be. Sanjay Sharma helped me through the deal and overall process lasted less than 3 hours. This is our 4^th vehicle bought from Texas Toyota of Grapevine. Extremely Satisfied and highly recommended!

My purchase experience here was very good! Sanjay was a great sales person. He helped me understand clearly about different features of the car and helped me choose the most suitable car for me and my family. I got the 2016 Camry LE. Sanjay also followed up with me after the purchase to make sure I know how to use all the new features of my new car. Thank You to Sanjay.

We went to Toyota of Grapevine yesterday, looking to buy a new SUV. Sanjay greeted us immediately and took us right to the Highlanders the dealership had in stock. He had tremendous knowledgable about the vehicle and was very professional. You could tell Sanjay was passionate about the Toyota brand and assured us we were getting a great car that would last a long time. One of the best car buying experiences to date! We are very excited about our new Toyota Highlander!

I just purchased a car for my wife from this dealer about a week ago. It is our first Toyota. We absolutely loved the salesman, John Cross. He’s one of those guys that you implicitly trust. We also had a great experience dealing with the Sales Manager, Kamil Nasrawi. With all the cars my wife and I have purchased in the past, I’ve never felt loyal to the salesperson. My experience with John and Kamil though has changed that! I am certain we will seek them out directly for our next purchase.
That was the good part… and I’d give all five stars to this dealer of it were just for them. I have to take away at least a couple stars though for my experience following that initial experience.
When I got to the financing part, I was very close to walking away from the deal. The ONLY reason I didn’t is because of how much I really enjoyed John and Kamil. The guys in the financing department were very difficult. Like all dealers they want to sell service packages. I’m cool with the sales pitch; but if you don’t want it, be prepared for some attitude. The guy gave some incorrect information to me, kept pressuring me to buy the packages, and initially wouldn’t run my credit to give me the best rate on the financing. I had to force them to go through that process. The financing manager was also frustrating, making excuses for the poor service. When it came to signing the papers, the finance guy was very unprofessional. He made negative comments under his breath, and displayed a disrespectful demeanor and tone when «answering» questions I had. I seriously couldn’t believe the change.
My advice… get your financing done through another bank or credit union. In fact, I’ll definitely be refinancing our deal.
Bottom line…5 stars for my sales team, 0 stars for the financing department. I’ll average and round up to 3 stars.

This place is a joke. Customer service is horrible. The communication between the sales and service department is nonexistent. I wouldn’t buy anything else from these people. Our experience with all of the unreturned phone calls and unanswered emails is ridiculous. They are sweet as can be until you sign the dotted line and then They could care less. Just picking up a set of license plates took an act of congress. Shaking my head… No more!!!

My husband recently took our Toyota in for a 5,000 service + a visor replacement. When scheduling the appt online, I remembered to ask for Alan Whitman because the last time I was there I was impressed by his mannerism and dedication to his clients. Well, he did not disappoint. My husband said he was fantastic. We ended up having a warranty which covered our visor replacement which originally was quoted at $ 160. We were grateful Alan realized that and saved us some $$!
Toyota, Alan is fabulous. I’ve witnessed his amazing work ethic while being serviced by others and it was enough to compell me to come back but experience him (albeit I wasn’t satisfied prior). Alan completely turned our service expectations around and retained us as a customer. I’m sure he is the reason others are loyal customers as well. I hope you are treating him right!

I saw several reviews and some complaints about PJ, or was it JP???
But that’s who answered my call and met me on the driveway when I arrived.
He was very friendly and got me checked in, arranged for a loaner car for the day while they had my car. Very nice. He gave me a estimate of the services before I left and said he would call if anything came up. I was waiting for that call :(. Later in the afternoon he called to say they were on schedule and should be complete in an hour and half. But nothing about «you need something else». Kinda shocked me he didn’t recommend anything else.
He called in a while and when I picked it up everything was as we talked about and no additional charges. Just a serviced clean truck.
I hope more people get this service instead of some of the other review treatment.

This has got to be the worst Toyota experience with a service advisor ever. I have been to this location twice and I will admit the first time the service advisor was awesome but yesterday I had a different service advisor and it was a totally different story. There needs to be an option for zero stars.
First I went online to try and book an appointment but I could not find an option for oil change. There is no way to bypass or add your own words but anyways I got up early and arrived at the dealership around 6:40. They open at 7:00. My service advisor J.P. Asked what I was there for and I explained that I would like to get an oil change. He asked if I had an appointment and I said that I tried to book it but and before I could even finish my statement he cut me off and said its because we are completely booked. I then explained that I couldn’t make an appointment because there is no option available for an oil change. He then tells me the option that says replacing filter is the option I should have selected. Again, I explained that most women and maybe even some men may not understand that replacing a filter actually means an oil change and maybe they should add it to their website. He cut me off again and said to wait there because he had to check in the other cars that had appointments. After waiting a few minutes J. P (service advisor) returns and tells me the wait time could be three hours or I could come back at 10:00 so I told him I would wait.
I told J.P. I had a deal that I purchased for $ 20.00 with a value of $ 40.00 on living social. He asked for the code so while I was pulling up the code he got frustrated and told me to wait inside and that he would come back in a few minutes to finish the transaction. I found the code so I waited for him to return. Once he took the code, he pointed me to the waiting area. While walking away I felt like a fool because not only did he offer poor customer service but he made me feel that my questions or comments about how to better the appointment page were irrelevant .
Finally my car was finished a few hours later and I left. Maybe it’s just his personality but he really needs a class on how to speak with customers and to listen and not speak over customers. I really wanted to like this dealership because it’s close to home and work but it’s not worth the poor customer service. I have owned my vehicle almost 14 years and I have never received poor service from a service advisor.
I will never return to this location. If you have no choice than to come to this dealership don’t get stuck with J.P.

Very good car buying experience. Sales people (like all car sales people) act like they are afraid you are going to get away. Seeing that I really wanted the vehicle I bought, just made me chuckle a bit. BUT I can see how it can be a bit intimidating if you aren’t really sure. Love my new ride.

I purchased my vehicle here and had a positive overall experience. I have continued to visit their service department for all my oil changes and other needs. I have had the pleasure of Natalie Hood as my service advisor more than once and she has always been polite and so helpful. Their newly designed waiting area is a major upgrade from their old one; plenty of sitting areas spread out and complementary snacks. There is no reason I would not continue to come here. Two thumbs up!

Best place to go for service, Fast, lounge, times always avalible, friendly, and not expensive.
Overall best toyota service besides freeman, Freeman is good but there service always blocks the entrance and exit.

The sales associates were friendly greeted us ETC but didnt seem to know much about the car’s and got kinda rude.
Dont get me started about the sales manager Rude, brags, not helpfull, giving us a crap deal that said was inpossible (got the deal one day later at freeman toyota for LOWER then the price i wanted) and non-​professional.
Dont come here unless its for service, overall great service, great lounge (seating, TV, free coffee, free wifi, free fountain drinks, free snacks) HORRIBLE and rude sales.

Preface: This review is for the Service Department ONLY. This is NOT reflective of the Sales Department.
My car had a myriad of problems: (1) squeaking sounds when I brake, (2) flashing tire pressure dashboard light yet perfectly fine tire pressure, and (3) a slight roaring sound during faster driving speeds (40+ mph).
I had initially taken my car to another establishment that recommended replacing both my front and rear rotors entirely for $ 700. To be blunt, this seemed like a ripoff. I brought my car to this dealership’s Service Department for a second opinion. Allen (Assistant Service Manager) was assigned my case and he was fantastic.
He diagnosed all my problems as (1) a warped rotor for the front right tire, (2) bad after-​market parts from my previous service provider for my new brake pads causing the squeaking, (3) a worn down wheel bearing causing the roaring sounds, and (4) a faulty tire pressure sensor in the front right tire. To remedy the situation, Allen recommended (1) front and rear braking service (shaving the existing rotors, replacing the brake pads), (2) replacing the worn down wheel bearing, and (3) replacing the broken tire pressure sensor. In total, the pricing came out to be $ 1200-​$ 1300 for all repairs, which I considered to be reasonable.
Additionally, service was extremely fast. From the initial check-​in of my car at 8AM to the complete diagnosis at 10AM to the completion time at 3:30PM, my car was completed expeditiously and Allen made sure to keep the cost and my car’s repair progress as transparent as possible. It’s been a few days after the repairs and my car is running as smooth as when I first bought it. If I ever have another issue with my car, I will not hesitate to bring it back to Allen for his help. Thank you!

Tevin was awesome! The guys here made the car buying process painless! Everyone was friendly while I waited and they offer free popcorn and refreshments. The wait was short and I got the car I wanted for a good price! Overall very pleased with this car dealership.

We bought a used car for our daughter here and the experience was not bad at all, comparatively speaking. We were treated with respect and courtesy. We got a very good deal. Of course they try to sell you extra plans and so forth. That’s how they make money. We were able to reach an acceptable comprise that made both parties happy. Look, buying a car is never actually pleasant. The process is usually demeaning and horrible. But I don’t feel that way about the way we were treated, especially by Milton. I would consider buying a new car here.

I have to add my two cents worth on this horrible dealership. I’ve owned Toyotas since the early 90’s. I always had positive experiences until I ran into this dealership from hell.
They sucker you into bs you don’t need or want, like gas filled tires. Their product is so substandard. I have had nothing but issues with this piece of crap Camry they sold me, brand new I might add.
When the recalls started rolling in a month after I purchased the car, I told them I would like to give the car back and they could make me a fair offer to take it back. I paid $ 31,000 and 30 days after purchase, they offered to give me $ 14,500 for it. A-​holes!
Then of course the models just like it start careening out of control. Wasn’t I happy to have this car? Not! My friends call it the death trap.
The sales people are sheisty, the manager is an arrogant jerk and the overall experience sucked. NEVER AGAIN!

Salesman baited us down there to look at a great deal on a used car.
Get there and are told the car has been sent to auction.

I used this dealership for an inspection to make sure a car was suitable to purchase. The service department charged me upwards of $ 130 dollars. One week later I went to have my state inspection done and was told my emergency brake would not hold the vehicle, and my wipers needed to be replaced, and my power door locks didn’t work. When I reached out to the service manager and he told me human error happens because the service technician happens to no longer work there he cannot verify they missed this portion of the inspection. There was nothing he could do for me.
I essentially paid for a inferior inspection at a inflated price and it just so happens the tech that did the inspection quit the Friday before my complaint. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

First, with apologies to my service advisor who I have followed across three dealerships, Unilocal does not separate the sales and service departments. Robert — you are the best. The Service Department has always done a great job for me.
I bought my first Toyota at Texas Toyota in 2008 — and put up with their miserable sales experience — because they had my guy in the Service Department. The sales guy you only have to see once. Your service advisor sees you (hopefully only) every 5,000 miles and I trust mine completely.
I bought my second Toyota in 2010 at Texas Toyota because Robert was still there. Was paying cash and it STILL took me three hours to get out of there. I was introduced to one of the owners (it’s part of a mega-​national group but the GM’s are allowed to «buy in» so when you meet the owner, he is really the GM) and told him I had a check made out with everything but the amount, I had the amount in mind, I was not going to pay one penny more than my number, I was not going to tell them my number, and they had 5 minutes to get me their number. They squeaked in with $ 100 to spare.
Then, Toyota had their never proven «mystery acceleration» problem and I got a note from Nissan of Grapevine saying if I was worried about it I could get top dollar for my Toyota and they would put me in a great, safe, Nissan. Guess what — the same mega-​national dealer group owns the Nissan dealer in Grapevine. Classy. Not. I wonder what Toyota thinks about their dealers using competing dealerships which they also own to bash the Toyota brand? Did I say classy? Slime of the slime. The fish stinks from the head back.
Well, because I believe service is more important than sales, when it came time to buy a Toyota for another member of the family we went in, told them we were NOT going to repeat our prior experiences, and we did not want to spend all day buying a car. First offer was $ 100 off list price with $ 3,000 worth of extras and a dealer pad of $ 1,500. Then there was the 20 minute wait while the sales manager went to «check with his manager» (i.e. go B.S. in the corner to let us sweat — they know their bottom price on their screen) followed by a feeble attempt to justify the ridiculous prices they kept giving us.
We finally walked because we couldn’t take any more. Since we had already destroyed our day at Texas Toyota we drove across town to Freeman, met a nice salesman there (see my 5 star review) who had us over $ 1,200 below Texas Toyota within 10 minutes. We were too battle weary to buy that day but the Freeman salesman followed up, politely, two times in the following weeks until we ultimately bought — from Freeman — last week. Texas Toyota unleashed a barrages of texts, phone calls, and e-​mails — sometimes two a day, day after day — even after we told them to knock it off. Hey, Texas Toyota, no means no.
I tell everyone about my great service guy at Texas Toyota. I tell them to buy elsewhere or don’t say I didn’t warn them. And now, you’ve been warned. Meanwhile, drive a little farther to Freeman for a great buying experience. By the way, the free cup of coffee, the shiny desks, and the pretty tables in the waiting area are accurate pictures on Unilocal.Make no mistake though, these are just to distract you during the sales process like cattle are distracted by the steer in front of them right until the bang stick gets ‘em. That’s the way the sales managers treat their victims. By way of specific example, the price we just paid at Freeman for a brand new 2014 was lower than the best price we got in January to take one of Texas Toyota’s leftover 2013’s.
If Texas Toyota reads this or cares — our sales advisor, Matt, was fine. Once he did good cop, bad cop came in to mop up. This place is characteristic of every car dealer horror story and joke you have ever heard. The classic T.O. house where every customer is presumed to be a lay down (car term) and the strategy is rope-​a-​dope, bait and switch, or shell game until you finally sign or walk.
I feel better now… I’d feel better if Texas Toyota cleaned up their act. As long as they take care of my service guy, I will still get service there. I can not imagine the circumstances under which they will ever sell me another car.

I have mixed feeling about Texas Toyota of Grapevine. You see I love Toyotas and this is the closest location to my home so this limits me as to dealerships. I have owned 5 Toyotas in 13 years all purchased here.
The service department has been stellar for me. I have serviced all 5 vehicles here and I can say that I have been pleased with all of my experiences. The service counselor meets you at your car and makes a list of your needs; they communicate with you through out the process letting you know about any other potential issues.
Now let me tell you about the sales experience, not so good. The experience with the 1^st 3 cars was awful. They pressure you to buy all these additional services and your here all day long. There no need to sit in this dealership for 12 hours. They just wear you down. That Sales Manager was awful and has since moved on. The next 2 cars I was a lot smarter and was able to reduce the time to 6 hours, but 6 hours is way too long…
We bought a Mazda and we told them how much we would pay and that we only had 1 hour to sign contracts and finalize the deal. It was a great experience.
I plan on keeping my 4 Runner until the wheels fall off so I do not plan on experiencing the sales process at Texas Toyota any time soon.
