Rethinking MB purchase. There is a known problem with a foul smell coming from the air vents due to condensation. It smells like mildew or ass. One of the two. The service department says it’s a known problem that MB doesn’t reimburse for. Sounds like a manufacturer defect. 90.00 to get rid of the stink which likely will come back. What a scam.

I leased my first Mercedes at the end of 2013 and because I loved the car, I returned in late June and traded for a new one. My salesman, Charles Lane, is a true professional and was extremely helpful and easy to work with.

Wouldn’t think of going anyplace else! Bought my 3^rd new Mercedes from Corey Bedford at Park Place Mercedes Grapevine a few weeks ago! Corey’s knowledge, fairness on pricing and trade-​in, and prompt ability to cut through the hassle and paperwork have repeatedly made car-​buying enjoyable! Via internet dealership pictures I saw the car and Corey priced the «walk-​out-​the-​door-​price» on one day and in less than 1−½ hours the next day I took the test drive, signed on the dotted line, and drove away in my gorgeous new 2016 Mercedes!

I just had my car washed. Everyone was super nice, and they did a great job. That is what is most important to me, but for my 9 year old, the most important thing was the free hot chocolate. Of course, I liked the sodas and nuts also, and the waiting area is really nice.

Wow. Test drove several Mercedes models and decided to move forward with one. We asked for some background info on this particular vehicle. The salesman left, and then returned with $ 7,000 higher price for the same vehicle. An internal dealership error had the vehicle priced at less than cost and the dealer provided paperwork seemingly supporting this error. Initially, I felt that we were the victim of bait and switch pricing. I shared that I did not feel very good about the price change; we do not treat our clients this way and I expected more from Park Place.
After some further basic research, we confirmed via KBB (kelley blue book) that the car seemed incorrectly priced relative to market. I explained to our sales rep, Lance Jenkins, that, while I understood that there had been an error, we had, in good faith, located this car and test drove it. My wife and I further discussed and decided that we wanted this particular E350 at the price that we had originally seen ‘stickered’ on the vehicle.
Lance checked with his manager and, ultimately, dealership management and 30 minutes later, to Park Place’s credit, they honored the pricing error. We purchased the vehicle and drove home another 30 minutes later.
Kudos to the dealership’s integrity!

I got a referral to call Doug Prince regarding purchasing my first Mercedes. It was the right decision. All information was transmitted electronically, so that when I went to the dealership, the whole process was less than 30 minutes and I was driving away! Great help educating me on the cool dashboard gadgets. I could not be happier. Thanks to Grapevine Park Place and Mr. Prince.

Best car buying experience to date. Our salesperson was very attentive and not pushy. The service department is also great. No complaints at all.

Went to this dealership looking for a car for my daughter. We had been looking for the better part of the day. I have purchased my Mercedes in the past from Patrick Zirjack at the Plano location. Patrick was a EXCEPTIONAL sales person. He has recently taken a non sales position. We stopped in at Plano and spoke with Rebecca (a sales person I have never had any dealings with) about used cars and she had some fantastic suggestions, but the vehicles we where interested in would not be available for test drives until Monday.
When we left my daughter said that their was a vehicle at the Grapevine location she may be interested in. So why not drive over and take a look. We did. A salesperson approached us and dove into the pitch (unlike Mercedes) he could’nt locate the car and during this process we discussed models. I thought the 2012 C300 came in 2 wheel drive. The salesperson said no that in 2012 the 300. s all where 4 matic. I challenged him and stated that he could show me, that I am always willing to be «schooled». We all sat down and he was unable to produce the evidence. He diverted and started to sell. (I found the proof of the 2012 being only 4 matic on my phone, hence proving him RIGHT and me wrong)
Here’s the rub. During our interchange which was hard ball (uncharacteristic of any other time I have been at Mercedes) He stated that we had «No loyalty» to our salesperson at Plano. This gentlemen questioned our integrity without knowing that my salesperson at Plano is no longer selling cars (as stated above) otherwise I would have dealt with Patrick exclusively.
I do wish I could remember this salespersons name to put it in this review, but its evident to me this Salesperson and Dealership has some serious problems with «Putting the Customer first».
I will always recommend Mercedes Benz

Rebecca Ray from Plano location just called me. I believe we will take my daughters money over there as well as mine in November when I upgrade out of my current Benz.

Purchase and loan processing on a used Toyota Tundra was a bit if a challenge and I could overlook that. However, it took several days for the vehicle to be made available and delivered.
After receiving my truck I discovered that the Jack Set for retrieving the spare and raising the vehicle was not there. In addition, there was only one key and fob. I was promised these items upon the sale and several times afterward. I finally purchased the Jack Set items from another dealer.
I continued to be promised my spare set of keys «even if the salesman had to purchase them himself» Five months later, emails and phone calls and no keys.
Park Place Mercedes/​Grapevine Texas is fairly good out of the gate but a dead horse in the stretch, much less the finish.
Our family and extended family has purchased 2 Lexus vehicles and this pre owned vehicle. So much for customer loyalty from PARK PLACE. Never again.

Bought a pre owned Mercedes from them. Excellent service. Jonathan is the guy. He really took care of me. They took care of everything. I will go back and see him next time.

If you do go here don’t go to Joe, short Asian guy. Not very knowledgeable. Ran all of my credit info without even offering to let us test drive the vehicle we came in looking for. Oh and here’s the funny part. Guy didn’t even make sure the vehicle was still available before he got all the information… time wasted here for sure. Especially when your going in looking to purchase that day. Also, very judgmental delete ship, I’m 27 with a very young looking face, when me and my girlfriend walked in, they all stared as if they seen a ghost. Interracial or gay couples should not shop here.

Great! Awesome! Spectacular! This comes to mind when I think of MB Grapevine. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Sam was my salesman and his customer service exceeded my expectations.

Could not be more disgusted with our experience here. The sales staff is wonderful, but if you’re planning on buying a new, current year car without financing and you’re not a previous Mercedes owner, be prepared for the most insulting experience of your life.
After you’ve driven & fallen in love with your new car and decided it’s time to buy, the sales manager will descend on you with this nebulous story about Mercedes fearing their new cars being exported by cash buyers so not only will you have to submit to them the equivalent of a full financial audit to «prove you’ve had the money in your account for at least 3 – 6 months» (so they know where it came from?) the dealership will also have to place a non-​monetary lien on your new (fully paid for) car to make sure you «don’t ship it out of the country.» He’ll then tell you that «It would be different if you’d bought from us before,» stating that, unless you were a previous Mercedes owner, you’re just not trustworthy enough to buy a brand new one. Sorry!
When my husband asked, somewhat incredulously, if there was ANY car he could buy on their lot, the manager replies, «Well, one greater than a year old.» Of course, not the one we test drove or came there to buy in any way. No, sir, your money is not good here for a new car, but we’ve got these used ones that you don’t want. Thanks.
I have a feeling this was the result of a «policy» taken out of context by management for fear of a fine from Mercedes if their new cars somehow get exported (to where? the manager couldn’t answer this). We would have gladly signed a legal contract or something stating the car would not be sold overseas, but letting the dealership put a lien on a car you would own in full because they «don’t know you» is unacceptable and, frankly, absurd. (Also, question, oh heroic sales manager, why would an «illegal exporter» want to purchase nearly $ 5k in extended warranty/​service? Hint: They wouldn’t!!!)
Sorry you lost out on your commission, R., you are an excellent salesman and a pleasure to work with. I hope you’re as pissed at your manager as we are. As for Park Place – we’ll take our money somewhere else. Maybe we dodged a bullet, based on the other reviews for this dealership.
