History

Established in 2002.

ooh la la! opened in September, 2002 in our original 500 square foot location at 336A South Main Street. In 2004, the building’s owner moved his office out of the building and we expanded our space to 1000 square feet. In July, 2007, we had the opportunity to move to our current location at 408 South Main Street, which is over 2000 square feet with 3 parking spots in the back! Woohoo!

Our building is a registered historic landmark. Built in the late 1800’s, it was originally the Grapevine Grocery Store.

ooh la la! is the product of desire and opportunity. Owner Sylvia H is a jewelry designer whose family has been in the retail jewelry business for three generations, over a century of experience.

After braving the corporate world for many years, she came across an opportunity to get into the retail business at a time when many businesses were failing as an outcome of the horror of ⁹⁄₁₁. With a love for design and a desire to follow in the family footsteps, ooh la la was born.

ooh la la has evolved into a wonderful boutique where a woman can find a classic yet unique look and attitude. ooh la la caters to the woman who wants to enhance her classic wardrobe with unique fashion forward style.
