The Gourmet Apple shop is awesome! I’ve been a costumer since they opened years ago. They have quality, delicious apples and treats. Their pies are better than my grandmother’s, and her pies were amazing! My family loves to drop by for a chocolate covered apple for a delicious treat! The owners are kind, dedicated, hard working, and aim to please! We need more mom and pop places like Gourmet Apple. I’m thankful for their shop because they make my family so happy! I can’t wait to pick up more pies for Thanksgiving this week. I was shocked by the the one star rating and read it. I want to point out that the one star received was NOT a costumer. That’s wrong to mark a business down because you can’t read the no parking signs. The shop only has a couple of places for their patrons. There’s always a grouch in the crowd that tries to steal joy… and parking spots! Gourmet Apple is a treasure in Grapevine! Go get your apples or pies today!

Second visit, again with co-workers. What you will find when you visit are unique house decorative items and snack items that are just«stinkin’ cute.» This time bought the frozen chocolate dipped banana, the pretzel braid dipped in caramel and 2 chocolates and the«Plain Jane» apple, which is caramel, milk chocolate and white chocolate. By the time I made it home I had eaten the banana and the pretzel and was SICK as a dog from the sugar overload! So I shared the love and gave the apple to a friend. Also bought the cinnamon honey apple butter but haven’t tried yet. Am I returning? Seriously?/!

I have three kids, so every time we pass by this small town gem, my car seems to find itself in the parking lot! We passed it dozens and dozens of times before deciding to stop. From the outside it looks unassuming, and you can find it in between Café Italia and Sonic off of Northwest Hwy in Grapevine. The super friendly staff takes pride in their store and service. We were immediately offered samples, and as we tried the goodies, the kind staff told us all about the apples and pies. The banana cream pie is incredibly yummy and meets all the requirements as a Southern favorite! Oh my gracious, the thought of pies are distracting me from the apples. Each apple is hand dipped in caramel, then chocolate, and other toppings. I highly recommend the traditional apple. It is dipped in the caramel, then chocolate, and then Texas pecans! I’m certain they serve these in heaven! We often get an apple as a treat on weekends. They are perfect to share, and they are happy to slice the apple for you if you wish. They also make the perfect gift! Everyone loves a good caramel apple, especially when it is cheerfully wrapped in holiday décor, or just a festive bow. These are sure to put a smile on the recipient’s face! Not only are you supporting a local small business, you are getting a true treat worth every penny!

This store is a hidden gem! Don’t be deceived by the store’s humble appearance. Maureen, the owner, is hardworking, honest, and takes great pride in her made from scratch pies and hand-dipped apples. The apples are amazing and the only drawback is that they are addicting and a bit pricy if you need to buy a few at a time

Great apples and great service. I went in to see if they could ship some apples to my parents and they took care of it. They even put a card in the package for them that I could put a personal message on. They can even ship the apples in the heat of the summer with ice packs. High quality. Hand made. Perfect to show someone that you care. I fully recommend them.

This store is a hidden gem! Don’t be deceived by the store’s humble appearance. Maureen, the owner, is hardworking, honest, and takes great pride in her made from scratch pies and hand-dipped apples. Just one large Plain Jane chocolate caramel apple is a sight to behold and provides a sumptuous dessert for our family of 5. The tartness of the crispy Granny Smith apple is pleasantly balanced with the rich creamy blanket of caramel and chocolate. We’ve enjoyed caramel apples by Rocky Mt Chocolate Factory and Germany’s Werther’s store at Epcot, but this Grapevine store makes the best. It’s not even a close race. I plan on buying a dozen or more of these specialty apples this holiday season for friends, teachers, and coaches. I will be proud to give these away as gifts and it’ll warm my heart just knowing I am supporting a sweet, local, family-owned business.

My wife and I love caramel apples, and with the closing of Rocky Mountain we could only do mail order. Gourmet Apples opened recently in Grapevine, a store that was well known in Houston, has established foothold in Grapevine. I have met the owner and sampled their wares, and his apples are crisp, the chocolate silky and the overall presentation is wonderful. They make excellent gifts, or do what we do, take one home, chop it up and serve it to the family for dessert. Here’s to their continued success!
