starCame for a color fix all the way from SC. I came with my two little kids 2 yo. and 10 months old. Not only the staff was friendly and professional, everybody in the salon was extra nice and helped out with my kids so i can get my hair done by Abbey who did an amazing job fixing my hair that was nasty. Im delighted with this salon experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Not only the people are understanding and nice enough too help you out with small children, but you also experience a professional and pleasant atmosphere. Really liked the décor of the place! I give this salon 6 stars out of 5. Really happy with my experience and I’m glad i waited all the way to Texas to have Abbey fix my hair: D

I really liked the atmosphere here. I had Abbey and she really listened to what I wanted. Usually it takes over a hour to get my hair cut but it took less than a hour and I got everything I wanted. I don’t really like paying so much for a haircut but I was happy with what I got. I will be returning!

Got my hair done by Abbey. She was nice but I felt she was trying to rush me. And this salon is ridiculous as they charge the normal prices of Aveda salon but for drying your hair, you have to pay extra 30 $.
I left with wet soaking hair. Never been to a salon who does that
My hair color retouch was 55 $.

Best overall salon experience I’ve ever had. They also give you $ 20 off your first visit.
When I walked in, the girl at the front desk was very friendly. I had to wait a little while because my hairdresser was still with another customer, but I didn’t mind. Most salons I’ve been in are very gossipy, I really appreciate the atmosphere of DV8.
Because of the wait, another girl washed my hair and they gave me a hand massage during my hair wash. It’s really the little things that count the most. Normally I hate getting my hair washed, but she made it so enjoyable. I was in the middle of a busy day and she was able to make me forget about that momentarily.
Then there’s Kacy, such a sweetheart! There’s nothing more awkward then when someone is doing your hair and they don’t speak to you… not Kacy. We got to know each other and had some laughs. Not only was she sweet and personable, she’s great at cutting hair! Which has been a challenge for me to find. Thank you, Kacy! :)

Brittany was amazing! Recently moved and was looking for a new stylist and just wanted a clean trim for my medium length hair. Brittany was super sweet and gave me a great haircut and then even showed me how to curl my hair when I was telling her about a wedding I have coming up and that I didn’t know how to use a curling iron. She created perfect waves and made it look so easy for me to try. Definitely will be going back to see her. The salon itself is really nice and fun hip vibe.

After losing my hair God of many years to LA, I was really fortunate to find Kacy. Witty, professional, and talented are just a few words I would use to describe her. My hair looks and feels amazing! I would trust her to do just about anything with my hair. I can’t wait for my next appointment.

I called in the morning because my hair cut the night before was horrible! They were able to fit me in and Sidni saved my hair!
She fixed my highlights and was able to make the cut look a million times better. The salon was fun and really modern.
Can not wait to go back!

This is my favorite salon. Always friendly, fast service. But more importantly, Halen is the best ever! She’s done so many fun cuts for me. I come in wanting to try something new and she rocks it. Great with color/​tinting. And she laughs at my knock knock jokes. Who could ask for more than that.

I have long curly hair and got a great hair cut by Karie! She has curly hair too and knows how to cut it well. She asks lots of questions and does a great job! The salon is beautiful too.

So happy with my visit with Brittany! We are relocating back up to DFW and I have to find a new salon… which is never fun! But I lucked out! I called Wednesday and was able to get in the next day. Brittany saw me pretty much on time, but while waiting it was nice to just hang out in their waiting area. This is a really nice place. Really pretty and chill. Good vibes. Lots of smiles from the stylists.
I’m in the process of growing out a pixie cut — which is super duper freakin’ awesome. I’m apparently a self-​masochist because I do this to myself WAY TOO OFTEN. Also making it a super exciting experience is that my hair is bleached root to tip. Well, it was, lol. When I walked in with a ball cap on my hair my roots were looking pretty rough. Brittany was super patient and took the time to look at pictures I had found on Pinterest. I decided to stay blonde and just have my roots touched up. I also had a few lowlights put in to spice things up and to add some dimension. Brittany trimmed up my ends as well as the back (the mullet look is not okay) but I didn’t feel like much length had been removed. Brittany also showed me how to create loose curls with a curling iron, which looked great! I haven’t ever been able to hold a curl when I’ve tried to curl my hair. I successfully recreated the look the next day after buying a new curling iron. Yay!
I’m so happy with my hair and my experience at DV8. Brittany was so friendly and fun to talk to. I feel like I lucked out finding this salon. We won’t be living in Grapevine, but it is worth the 20 – 30 minute drive for me to go somewhere I’m comfortable and happy with. Also, they are an Aveda salon which I also am happy with. Honestly, if I could give them more stars I would.

This is the BEST place to go in Grapevine for a haircut and color. Not only is the salon absolutely gorgeous on the inside, the staff is amazing! I’ve had my hair done twice by Brittany and she was such a joy to spend time with. I highly recommend DV8 if you are looking for a salon in the area! 10 stars!

So I finally grew my hair out long enough to donate (Pinkheartfunds) and decided to get my hair done by DV8 salon. I usually get my hair done by a super sweet lady by H-​Mart in Carrolton, but always end up looking very very Asian, lol.
They assigned Brittany to me and she did an amazing job. :) She listened to my concerns (basically didn’t want a bowl cut) and had some great advice. She was very friendly and I will definitely be a return customer!
As an added bonus, when you donate your hair, they only charge for the style which is awesome. If you do donate, research PinkHeartFunds… they don’t charge children for wigs like LocksofLove (so I’ve heard).

I am a very low maintenance gal. I don’t change my hair style often and really only cut my hair when I «need» to. After moving to Texas, I realized I had reached that dreaded «need to cut my hair» time.
I have curly-​to-​wavy hair and always fear that my haircut will result in all sorts of awfulness. (Can you tell I’ve been scarred from crappy experiences before?)
I made an appointment at DV8 because it was close to work and had good reviews. When I got there, I knew why! The atmosphere is very chic and trendy. The ladies at the front greet you with a smile and offer you a drink.
I got my haircut from Karie. She was very sweet and patient with my crazy tangly hair. (I hadn’t cut it in over a year and a half). She looked at my Pinterest-​inspired pics and did an amazing job. And she even recommended some awesome Aveda product for curly hair that is now, basically a necessity.
I just went back this week and had Karie work her magic on me again. I showed her some more Pinterest pics of the bangs/​cut I wanted and she achieved the look perfectly
I would seriously recommend DV8 to anybody and errrbody.

I went back and had a different stylist named Abby! I can say the experience was night and day! Abby listen to what I wanted and gave me an amazing haircut. I have since moved out of grapevine, but if I return I would absolutely let Abby cut my hair again!

Always leave there feeling gorgeous. The atmosphere is always fresh and fun. Lisa has been doing my hair for years and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend Dv8 to anyone that desires the best hair stylists in DFW as well as a fun experience every time. I can’t go anywhere without getting compliments on my hair and asking where I get it done… that should say enough.

Simply the best. I trust EVERY stylist there, always walk out feeling like a million bucks! Plus, free drinks & a rocking atmosphere!

I love this salon! Visited for the first time last week and Karie gave me the best haircut of my life. Seriously, I’ve never had a stylist spend so much time *listening* to me and making/​explaining suggestions the way that she did. I was nervous about getting a cut right before a huge business meeting because my previous salon/​stylist had difficulty with my hair, which is curly, but only in places and only when it decides to be.
I have allergies to a lot of oils and botanicals, and not only was she totally cool with me bringing my own shampoo and conditioner so I could avoid the possibility of a reaction to something new during my meeting, but even told me which salon products to stay away from in the future because of certain ingredients.
I spent a hot, humid week down in San Antonio and my hair behaved perfectly. All I have to do is air dry it, touch up my ends with a curling iron and my usually horrible hair looks great all day. It has never looked or behaved like this and it’s almost maintenance-​free to boot!
Needless to say, I’ve found my new permanent salon and stylist!

You know what the most horrifying thing on earth is? A 13 year-​old girl with a head-​full of cowlicks who is growing out her hair. I started taking my daughter to see Karie and we haven’t had a hair meltdown since.
And after three cuts, I’m still thrilled. People tell me my hair is cute instead of asking what *happened* to it and wondering if I did it on purpose.

Truly an awesome place! I called in late and they scheduled my appointment same day, almost within the hour. Went inside and was immediately offered a beverage. About five minutes later I go to the chair and I told her what I was looking for. She kindly listened to my story and looked through my Pinterest inspiration pictures and then started cutting. It turned out PERFECT. I haven’t been this satisfied with a haircut experience in a long time. Thank you DV8 for an awesome experience!

I got my haircut here for the first time yesterday and I was very impressed. The people working there are all very friendly and the salon is gorgeous. The service was great and I love my cut.
An added bonus is the comfortable shampoo stations and the complimentary beverages.
I’ll be back for my next trim!

I have driven by DV8 a million times and even checked out their website several times but never made an appointment until I was stuck in godawful traffic after a bad day at work and realized what I really needed was a change of hair.
Fortunately, they were able to fit me in pretty much right away. I walked in and every ADD impulse I have was in love with all the pretty things they have to look at — if I was a single girl, this is exactly what I would want to cover my whole house in. Cutesy sparkly hipster shiz from Etsy — it was adorable.
The super friendly front desk girl hooked me up with a glass of wine and I sat taking in all the embroidered crafty things until my hair stylist Monica came to get me. As a total spaz who doesn’t ever get my hair done, I was happy that she was willing to listen to my crazy attempt at explaining what I wanted my head to look like.
She did a super fantastic job and I’m heading back in ASAP for some color. And they give $ 20 off your first visit, meaning I got an awesome haircut for a grand total of $ 14. I finally have a reason to try to get haircuts on a regular basis! Stylists I can trust in an adorable environment with booze! Yaaay!
