History

Established in 1959.

The Zarlingo Family has a long tradition of serving their customers and the community. They have taken pride in caring for the community that has provided a safe and nurturing environment for their family. Their commitment to that community has gone beyond customer service in the automotive repair business. They have been sponsors, donors and volunteers in many community– based organizations and activities. In May of 2011 Bob and Cathie Zarlingo sold their business to Brian and Jessica Burford.

Business Owner

Brian has been an automotive technician since 1998. Brian began his mechanical career at Bombardier Inc. working on snow cats. Brian later went to Mesa State College and received an Associate’s Degree in Mechanics. He worked for the Spring Works for three years specializing in suspension repair. Brian later spent four years as parts specialist working at Drive Train Industries and Peterbilt Trucking before accepting a position at Zarlingo’s Automotive Service Center.

He currently is Master ASE certified with recognition in:

Such a great experience with Zarlingo’s! Locked our keys in the car across the street at the gas station. Mike was extremely helpful and came on over and unlocked our door! Definitely would recommend — everyone in the shop was extremely helpful and friendly!

We were coming home from Lake Powell and we stopped in Grand Junction only to discover we were losing oil in our truck. It was close to closing time when we got to their shop but they stayed and took a look at our vehicle. They diagnosed the vehicle right away and gave us the pricing for the repair. they had it fixed in 2 days and right on budget with what they had quoted. We were pulling a boat and they let us keep the boat in their parking lot while they worked on our our truck. So lucky we broke down near them and very happy with the service!

Wouldn’t recommend. I went in to get an oil leak fixed, and the mechanic called me saying I also need to get my brakes serviced because the brake pads were wearing out. I couldn’t afford to do that at the moment so I said I’d wait on that repair (Also, I hadn’t heard any squeaking). He told me they would only last a month or two.
Five months later I went to Firestone to check out the brakes because I was getting a little paranoid. The mechanic there actually had me come out and look at the brakes to show me they still had a lot of life left in them.
I definitely won’t be going here again.

This place is shady don’t go to them. They diagnosis my car with injector coil problem and charged me an arm and leg when all along it was my battery that was the problem. All liars and actors here I would never recommend this place.

We’ve got to thank the service tech! He checked out our car on a road trip right away and calmed fears we were leaking coolant and got us back on the road without even charging us. Highly recommend! Very professional and caring folks. Thanks a lot! Appreciate not being stuck on the side of the road!
