Grand Central Discount Liquors

Great place to buy liquor. Owners are super friendly and the guys that work there are extremely helpful. I would highly recommend getting your fun for your party at Grand Central Discounts. If you haven’t been in there throughout the last year, stop back in and see the new owner’s and great staff.

Stopped in on my way to Moab for a couple of Plinys. There were 2 of us. we go to Moab several times a year and switched to this place 2 years ago when the barn told us they had Pliny. Only asked for Pliny one other time over a year ago but do come in for other beer and liquor since its a sad situation in Utah. Sometimes hit it twice because its cheaper than Eagle. So 4 or 5 six packs of premium beer and 2 or 3 bottles of good liquor.
So anyway, Elina was so rude to me, downright nasty actually. My friend with me was appalled. She actually told me Pliny was for her good customers. really? I was very annoyed, mostly at her crass rude smug attitude. She is not smart enough to know she could have made the whole thing go differently by just saying she didn’t have any. Anyway after my nearly being a shxt she finally gave me one. I have never been so appalled with someone’s attitude. Really ugly acting. Maybe because I am a woman? She did mention her regular guys many times.
So I won’t be back because they obviously don’t need my business and I wrote a letter to Pliny and I will be at Russian River in June and I intend to follow up then.

Dropped by here on my way to Utah to load up on some booze and real beer. Utah only sells 3.2% ABV beer, so be sure you cross the border heavy laden.
OK, so I walk in with a few friends and there is raging death metal music just blasting through the place. Not just background, really in your face, smack-​you-​upside-​the-​head death metal. I didn’t mind it, while my compatriots complained and the dude who worked there eventually turned it down. Didn’t change the channel, but what do ya expect? We perused the isles and made a few choices, then asked him a couple questions about a particular local whiskey (Colorado). My friend haggled on the price and actually got him to drop a few bucks off the final priced, which is pretty awesome if you ask me (and worth an extra star in the ratings). :)
Overall, a pleasant, headbanging experience. Excellent selection, much better than most WA state liquor stores.
