We went here recently and had the lunch buffet. Overall a great experience! I am a huge fan of Indian food, and an avid maker of it at home. Im not always a fan of Indian buffets, but I will say I was impressed with this one. Chicken tikka masala and another spicy chicken with bell peppers, (reminiscent of a chicken jalfrezi) were really good. They also offered a goat curry in a brown sauce that was pretty good. The tandoori chicken was not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s always nice to have that option since I can’t make that at home. It was also nice to try a spicy noodle dish and corn Saag, dishes I would not normally order off a menu. My only drawback was that the mulligatawny soup was not very good. It was not the puréed, spiced style that I’m accustomed to. They will bring fresh naan to your table by request. Service was good and prices were very reasonable for the buffet.

I’m from NY/​CA and visited plenty of Indian restaurants in much bigger cities than in Grand Island, and I can say that, hands down, Royal Indian Cuisine had one of the best Indian dishes I’ve had. What a pleasant surprise!

Cute atmosphere and great food. We had the chicken vindaloo and the chicken tikka masala, samosas and ryta. It was delicious and came out quickly.
I love Indian food and am glad I no longer have to take a cooler with me when I go to Lincoln or Omaha to bring some back.
Like every new restaurant in grand island, this place was super busy and the staff seemed overwhelmed. I wish them the best because this place is awesome!

We really enjoyed our lunch buffet. It was a great opportunity to find which items were our favorite. We enjoyed all the dishes. Great service.
