Was up on vacation in NH and my brakes totally seized up on me, with a load groaning when moving and continual braking resistance. Managed to get my truck to Byrne’s and the owner, Bob, couldn’t have been nicer.
It was a Sunday morning but he was open and said he’d work on it as fast as he could (on a Sunday morning!). We had to get my son to an AMC week camp that afternoon, but Bob said if he couldn’t get it done by then he’d let us borrow a car and get our son to the camp, and then drive us to a local campground or hotel. He diagnosed the problem quickly (a brake pad slipped off and jammed in the caliper) and patiently explained my options and prices, which seemed extremely fair to me!
Bob said go to lunch and he’d work on getting it done. We walked down the street to Mr Pizza (very good place) and by the time we got back he and his very talented mechanic had it finished! Just great service, fair price and a really great guy. Thanks!!!
