Palm Valley Garage Doors

Dave, the owner of Palm Valley Garage Doors, recently came to my rescue when our garage door opener died, with no emergency release cord attached. In a panic, I called his number at 5:00 a.m. (believing I’d get an answering machine, at that hour), waking him on a Saturday morning… yikes! He was kind, understanding and helpful, arriving at our home promptly when he said he would 2 hours later. He was able to locate the emergency release and gave me several options and quotes for rectifying my situation. I chose to replace our garage door opener, which he did 2 days later, for the exact dollar amount quoted. He showed up ON TIME and was finished with the work in the time he estimated it would take. I would call Dave again in a heartbeat! I wish all business people we’ve worked with were this reliable, professional and honest!

Out standing customer service, more economical then any other place I called. Very friendly and down to earth. Very truthful and to the point. No trying to sell you more then what’s needed. I would of gladly paid more for the experience with Palm Valley Garage Door. Just a great overall experience. It’s the kind of old fashion, friendly, real people experience. If you need work done on your garage, these are the guys you want to call!

We went to dinner on Friday evening and when we returned the garage door wouldn’t open. It was a little late but I needed to find a well recommended company to come out to fix it Saturday morning. I scanned Unilocal and found Palm Valley Garage Door and it had wonderful reviews and a 5 star rating. I called and it was after 9:30 pm. Dave answered and we set up a window of time for Saturday morning. Dave arrived at the front of the time window and quickly began repairs. I had told him that the spring had broken. He recommended that we replace the old single spring system with two springs. He was so quick and as we were discussing the condition of my door I asked him if he had a way to make it a little quieter. Since it is 17 years old I guessed the answer would be to replace it. He said I can replace the rollers and lube the drive. He had the parts on his truck and had them replaced within 10 minutes. He lubed the drive system and was gone within half an hour.
Dave is a very nice guy and did outstanding work quickly. He is someone I will call again and highly recommend. The fact that he is local make it even better.

I called at 8pm and Dave was at our house in Avondale by 8:30. Our garage door had a broken spring which he was able to quickly replace. Added bonus… the door is quieter than it ever has been! Dave was personable and friendly, I would be comfortable with him even if my husband wasn’t home. We will definitely call again if/​when any issues arise.

My husband came home from work and when he closed the garage door, one of our garage door springs snapped. Called several garage door companies and Palm Valley Garage Doors was the only company to answer our call after hours. They were extremely responsive, extremely professional, did an amazing job and were very reasonably priced. Garage door has worked great since. Actually better than when we bought the house. Whenever I have had any questions since then on doors, they have responded immediately and have even stopped by to help if I asked. We just arrived back south from Canada on Friday night and found our garage door spring had snapped, we phoned a couple of numbers for service but found no one was available until Monday. When I phoned Palm Valley Garage Doors I was told it could be done on Saturday without a problem. Dave came as promised and had the right springs installed within the hour.

Dave came out on short notice because my garage door would not open. He listened to my frustration and added an extra call to to his already busy day to help us out. He was recommended by a friend and we are so glad we called him! He is very knowledgeable about garage doors, pleasant to work with, and explained all the details of what was going on with our garage door. He did excellent work and quickly. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have a 18×12 door my opener broke! I called 3 other companies and no one would look at it because it was large and a comercial opener. Dave came out and had no problem repairing it. Excellent work. Honest. Fair prices. Friendly. I will use Dave for all my garage door needs and will not hesitate to refer him to my friends.
