Talk about turning lemons into lemonade. Prestigious Auto Body hit it out of the park with customer service. I came in after a fender bender because they were approved by insurance. Needless to say dealing with insurance is always terrible but Jaime was my advocate. He made sure everything was done was for my convenience and to make everything as seamless as possible. I’ve always be intimidated by body shops because I’m a novice with these type of things but I I’ve never experienced such amazing customer service period! Jaime even gave me wedding advice! I will recommend Jaime and the team to anyone in need of their services.

So, after having a incident where a Lexus thought it would be beneficial to all parties to occupy the same space as my 2013 Silverado, I found myself here. The estimate was completed fast and the estimated time I could pick up my truck was two weeks. 5 days later, my truck is not only fixed but the attention to detail the paint and finishing staff paid to my truck was noticeable. It looked better than expected and I was able to get my truck back way before the estimated delivery date. I highly recommend going here. From the front office staff to the skilled body and paint staff, this is the place to go for all of your paint and body work needs. Ask for Jamie Alvarez.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Seriously, I never expected to be THIS happy with a car repair shop. I heard all sorts of terrible things about people getting ripped off at other places so I expected a bunch of slimey guys who would totally try to trick me and rip me off. NOPE. These guys are so honest and helpful and really care about giving you the best quality service for the best price they can offer. These guys are clearly in it for the long run — they want their customers to keep coming back in the long run because we can trust them! I really appreciate honest businesses like this.
And really, the workers here really make the place stand out. They are so friendly and polite and seriously try to help in the best way they can.
My car needed another day in the shop, but I needed to leave for LA in 15 minutes so they called for a rental car for me and gave me a ride over and stayed with me at the rental place (Toyota SB) until everything was all set — all under 15 minutes! And I made it to LA right on time! Unbelievable. They also remembered my name and treated me so well.
Um on top of everything, they did some extra special services for me to fix up other issues with my car. They even vacuumed and cleaned my car out for me! It’s like they bought me a brand new car. I’m SO happy!!!

My 2012 Honda Civic was rear-​ended in LA, hit and run accident. Called made an appointment and brought it in to the shop the next day. Jaime was super friendly and made me feel at ease, gave me a full run down of what looked like needed to be done!
I was told 3 weeks for repairs which was great to begin with! To my surprise I got a call that it was done a whole week early which was awesome. Since I was out of town for work they offered to drop it off at my house, got home and it was there waiting. Now that is EXCELLENT service.
My only constructive criticism would be to cut down on the update phone calls. I appreciate the thoroughness but that’s time consuming and unnecessary to call and say that someone will be calling later with an update on my cars status. Just stick to calls that contain information!
Overall a great experience, my car looks PERFECT and I couldn’t be more impressed. Thank you Prestigious!

Great customer service! Someone recently backed into my bumper and I decided to bring my car into Prestigious Auto Body. Jaime was really friendly and informative about what needed to be repaired. He was also very transparent about the prices. They did a great job in the repair and even washed my car! Overall, great experience and will come back if I ever have any problems with my car.

I loved everything about Prestigious Auto Body, it was essentially like taking my car to the spa. What set them apart for me was their customer service. Everything from picking me up from the car rental shop (complimentary) to working with in my budget, to simply making me feel like they had my best interest at heart throughout the entire process. I was out of town while my car was getting fixed, and Jaime Alvarez was incredibly responsive via phone and email, making sure I was kept in the loop. He’s also one of the kindest people you will ever meet and the person you want as your advocate. Having a totaled vehicle can be a very humbling and vulnerable experience, especially when there is a lot of money on the line. Everything was done beyond my expectations and I never felt like I was being exploited for extra money. Thank you!

I had work done on my 1994 Toyota Truck, bodywork inclusive of a ¼ panel repair, they also detailed the rest of my truck to blend the new panel. Everything done was far beyond my expectations. It was my first time at Prestigious Auto Body here today and Tobin was amazing. He was able to help me right away and got me in and out of here quickly. He was a super nice guy and awesome service! Definitely will return to this company with any future car problems.

Amazing experience and outcome.
By nature, one can usually tell a lot about how much any shop business values their customer simply by the way they’ve set up the inside of their store/​shop. The way these guys have, it is so focused on you the customer. Post-​modern interior design, a wooden, artistic backdrop, super comfy chairs, and perhaps best of all, a *luxurious* blend of AC throughout the entire inside. Their separate waiting area section is so nice as well. (Not that it felt like a wait at all, with the interior set-​up!)
My job, which was to install an exterior door handle, was done within 30 minutes. It went so well that I almost wish it would have taken an hour. I would have enjoyed waiting more, so that I could talk more than Jaime. He (and his staff) were SO committed, from the beginning phone conversation, to the final good-​bye. In the beginning they were happy to suggest different options for me, to make it more convenient for me to get the right result I needed. (One of them even included one of them driving me to my work, depending on if the job was urgent.
Thankfully it wasn’t… so that I wouldn’t have to distract them from giving other customers exceptional service.)
Please give these guys your auto needs! It’d be hard for you to be sorry you did.

I choose to take my car to Prestigious when I was involved in a car accident. I was amazed at the excellent customer service all of the representatives portrayed, especially Tobin. He was very well spoken, positive, intelligent, and always wanted only the best for me and my car. Tobin made sure that I was happy and satisfied with everything being done. I received excellent service on my car plus a car wash! They made my car look like nothing ever happened and it looked better than it did before. They even made sure that everything was working correctly under the hood. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a superior car repair shop. Excellent Customer service! My front fender got caught up on a curb while backing out and my insurance company classified it as a collison. The fender was able to be reattached to a couple of the clips that held it on, but one was broken. Great, I thought, this will be costly. I went to Prestigious, instead of charging me to replace the fender, they glued the fender while I waited and charged me $ 0. That’s right, no charge. I didn’t have to pay my deductible to the insurance and it was taken off my record. Thanks Prestigious for making my life a little easier and my wallet a little fatter =)

It’s hard to know where to begin to talk about these guys, but maybe I should start with the only bad thing you may experience if you bring your car to them.
If you have a spouse, the day you drive your «new» car home be prepared for the reaction. Suddenly THEIR car will look shabby next to the one that just came from Prestigious and they will be unhappy. If your experience is like ours, at the very least, they will want to bring it in for the amazing cleaning and detail work they do. But seriously, that’s the only bad thing about bringing your car here.
You might have to budget for more than one car. ;-)
My wife’s 2 year old Prius got hit about a month or two ago and the person who hit her was very nice and eventually just wrote a check for the cost of the repair. Prior to that, my wife took it to 3 body shops in town, all nice places and got quotes. In all honesty, they were all about the same. The difference with Prestigious, was that she was bowled over by how nice and helpful the entire staff was there. Even though their quote was slightly higher, she wanted to go there to have the work done.
I’m thinking, «Well, nice is nice, but what kind of _​work_​will they do?»
We were not let down. It honestly looked brand new and they even went the extra mile and did some touch ups on places that were not part of the repair. She got rides to and from our home and felt like she’d just met some really great, kind people. The trust factor was very high and the proof was in the pudding. The car looked like it did the day we bought it brand new.
As described above, the only downside to this was my 2005 Highlander looked very old and drab next to hers. So I drove by, met the gang and asked what they could do. Jaime walked me through all of the extensive detailing work they’d do and the price was very reasonable. It was hard to wait for the following Monday, but it finally rolled around, I rolled in, I gave them the keys, and Matt gave me a lift back home.
The next day, I got the call, picked up my car and drove it home much improved. Just to keep it real here, I realized that there were a few spots, a few places that didn’t look quite brand new, so I emailed Jaime and asked if that was just as good as it could get for an older car, or whether they could take another shot at it. He was 100% professional and just said something like, «While that may turn out to be the case, I want you to be 100% happy with our work. How about you bring it in and we’ll see if we can get those final stains out of the seats and whatever else you’d like us to do?» [I could learn a thing or two from this guy in my repair business!] How could I not be happy with a response like that?
So they took the car in, did a fantastic job with the remaining stains and nicks I was hoping they could make look better and I’m 100% happy. I still have a nearly 10 year old car, but they made it look good enough to park next to my wife’s.
I cannot speak highly enough of them.
In the end, you can probably find a lot of shops that do good work. The difference here was that these were really great _​people_​doing great work, with really high integrity and warmth. I sound like an infomercial, I know, but it’s nice to toot the horn of a local business that is obviously working hard to do all of the things that matter. Anna, Aaron, Matt, Jaime, Tobin and Bernie, you guys totally make it a place I’ll refer friends and neighbors to for a long time.

The only explanation I have for some of the sub-​par reviews below is that people are getting this place confused with Precision. In reality, Precision (by Big Brand Tire) and Prestigious (in Old Town Goleta) have nothing in common.
I brought my car in to repair a dent on the roof next to the door frame and moon roof (some jerk was throwing rocks off a freeway overpass in LA) and Jaime took care of me from the very beginning. Everyone I interacted with at Prestigious was friendly, empathetic, helpful and honest. I was given a quote to repair the damage in a timely fashion (and after receiving another estimate — from Precision) I realized exactly how fair the price from Prestigious was — nearly half what Precision was trying to steal from me!
My point is: I received my car back earlier than expected, cleaner than expected and I was helped by friends — not someone who was just trying to get my money. I hope to never need an auto body shop again, but if I do, I won’t waste my time going anywhere other than Prestigious.

Prestigious Autobody Repair is A # 1 they said, but honestly they’re not. So this how I rate them.

They’re very friendly in many aspects.
They offered me the Car Was C and I paid for it $ 24.98 which is one the best they have but I could have swore that my car wasn’t washed perfectly fine. I was so disappointed.
The staff who does the body repair job is not so professional at all. They left my 2014 Nissan Sentra with so many little paints stains that they used on my car. Not only they did a mediocre job paint repair but they did not polished it after.
When I went to picked up my car, I went straight to work and noticed the poor job they did on everything. The wash C, the painting and the spot mirrors were misplace.
My advice to all of you guys who are in a need of a good autobody repair shop. There’s so many out there who will do the same job and even better than Auto prestigious for a better affordable price. All you have to do is look for one and If you haven’t found one yet, I can get you my own private one.
The only good about prestigious autobody repair is that they offer a lifetime warranty that’s it.
I regretted for bringing my new vehicle here not for the high quotes they have nor the costumer’s service but for the poor job they did on my car :(

These guys are great in every aspect, customer service, quality of work, and price. This is my second time using them, and I’ll keep using them, and referring all of my friends to them for as long as I’m in Santa Barbara.
Recently the side of my car got really scratched up. I knew I needed to fix it before I went back home, and so I went to Prestigious to get an estimate. They give me a really good price ($ 300/%40 less than the 4 other body shops I went to), and Jaime, took really good care of me. He understood that I was a college student, and that I couldn’t really afford to spend that much money on the fix, and he worked around my budget to make it work. He was super generous, and he even dropped me off at work the day I dropped my car off with them. He told me it would take two days to fix the car, and that he would see me then.
Two days later, Jaime calls me and lets me know my car is ready, so I go pick it up. The car is spotless, and it looks brand spanking new, like nothing ever happened. To add to that, they washed and detailed my car. The car was literally spotless, and the interior did not have a spec of dust.
Honestly, Prestigious is the best auto body shop in Santa Barbara in terms of quality, price, and customer service. I felt welcome from the second I got there, until the second I left. I definitely recommend coming here if you need work done on your car!
