My tutoring business is the culmination of over 21 years of reading intervention work, primarily at the elementary school level. My focus is on struggling early readers who need 1:1 or small group assistance in gaining a foothold in understanding the reading process.

History

Established in 2010.

Tutor​ing4​Suc​cess​.com is a private tutoring service for families with a child who has difficulty reading. I began this service when I retired from regular teaching. My heart was still very much into providing guidance to the kids who just needed a little extra help in reading. When a parent suspects a learning problem or when a classroom teacher annouces that the student tested below their potential in reading, that might be the time to consider professional tutoring.

The right intervention at the right time can make all the difference in the world. Sometimes it simply takes a varied and differentiated approach to the task, delivered in a 1:1 or small group setting, to help the child catch-​up to grade level performance. Tutor​ing4​Suc​cess​.com provides the parent with a free 60 minute in-​take session to provide the family with more information before they decide on tutoring services.

Meet the Business Owner

Jaika K.

Business Owner

Jaika Klein has over 20 years teaching experience with a background in special education and specialized training in reading intervention and remediation. She taught Deaf children for 10 years before moving west to Colorado. Ms Klein helped set up Special Education services for two charter schools in the mountains before moving to Arizona in 1998 to receive her Reading Remediation training. On returning to Colorado in 2001, Ms Klein worked with a reading clinic in Englewood, CO and in 2001 joined the Aurora Public Schools as a reading intervention teacher.

Jaika lives with her husband in Golden, CO and shares with him a great love for the canyons of Utah.
