History
Established in 2008.
Feed to Succeed, LLC, is managed and directed by Betsy Hjelmgren, MS, RD, LD, CSP. Betsy has been a registered dietitian, licensed in the state of Illinois, for over a decade. In 2008, after nearly ten years of employment at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s & then Children’s Memorial Hospital, Betsy founded Feed to Succeed, LLC.
Feed to Succeed, LLC, only employs licensed, registered dietitians to provide our nutrition services. Dietitians are the only nutrition experts regulated by the American Dietetic Association, and licensed to provide professional nutrition advice. Additionally, because we work directly in the client’s home, our clients enjoy the unique benefit of education in their own kitchen, using their own food and resources as added educational tools.

Betsy H.
Business Owner
Betsy has been a registered, licensed dietitian since 1999. She has practiced in a clinical setting since that time. Betsy obtained her master’s degree in clinical nutrition in 2000 from Rush University at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. In addition to practicing in a clinical setting, Betsy has taught both college undergraduate and graduate level nutrition classes at Wheaton College and Rush University, and has provided talks and presentations to both health professionals and the community.
