I love it here. It is always good.

Staff is incredibly rude. They were completely defensive when my order was incorrectly entered and claimed that I ordered wrong. Based on other Unilocal reviews this is a regular occurrence. I will drive the extra distance to go to an Einsteins where I won’t be interrogated for their own staff member’s mistake!

This love was only run by two people and even when completely empty was still pretty slow. The staff seemed to not know somethings but everything tastes good and they were polite and it was clean inside.

Thumbs up for great food & coffee. Thumbs down for the rude cashier. Every time I come in shes a major smart ass. Ugh!!!

Thumbs up for yum tasting food, but thumbs down for NEVER having enough cinnamon sugar bagels available, they ALWAYS have to «make» them from plain bagels.
Plenty of staff, but they appear to be «training» and in need of direction.
The customers are flowing in & out of the place, but the wait time seems to be getting longer with each visit. And why do I have to remind them to give the the side of shmear that they are charging me for?
Sure I will be back for the bagels & coffee — just will b hoping for a better experience.

Ordered a dozen bagels
they gave me six in a dozen box?
how does that happen when I picked all 12 bagels?
shame on me i guess for not opening the box and counting before i left.

Great bagels and great coffee makes this place a nice start to your day. They have quite a few different selections of bagels and «shmears», or cream cheese as they like to call it, to satisfy almost any taste. I have personally found everything here to be extremely fresh and have never had an issue to date. Their bagels to go container is very convenient for the office setting.
I would definitely recommend them. The only reason I didn’t award them another star is because I personally have tasted better bagels and cream cheese but their’s nonetheless are fantastic even still.

Never order catering from this place. Screwed up a catering order THREE times. Language barrier with staff and they could care less when they did understand. First they forgot coffee cups, knives and cream cheese. Then they didn’t bring enough cream cheese. Meeting will be over before everyone gets to eat.

Food is ok. Service is fine I guess. Maybe I’d like this place more if someone cleaned up occasionally. Doesn’t feel sanitary in. There.

I’ve stopped here twice quick, around lunch time to grab something and go. The place is nice and bright. They have a nice selection of bagels. The line has always been fairly quick.
This last time I ordered a bagel-​dog, and when I got in the car and started eating it — the hot-​dog inside was still partially frozen. So yeah, that was kinda gross. But overall I like Einstein. I’ll chalk it up to a fair mistake.
I will continue to come here for their wonderful bagels.

While visiting someone at glenbrook hospital for four days, I stopped daily at Einstein Bagels. The staff remembered me and asked everyday how things were going. They were genuinely excited when I said she was getting better. They got my order right each time and we kind.

This location is one of the worst I’ve been to. I remember when it was under construction– the building is only 3 years old!
The staff and management at this location are not well trained. No one is rude, but everyone working there obviously struggling to figure out what to do. They don’t know which items should go on which sandwiches (we witnessed multiple people bringing food back and asking about a missing ingredient, and the pickle that always comes with my panini was absent). There were a number if items they were out of, too, which leads me to believe that the manager was not ordering the appropriate amount of food.
I don’t come out this way much anymore now that I no longer work in Northbrook, but I definitely won’t be returning to this Einstein’s, even if I am in the area.

I search Unilocal a lot before visiting any restaurants and I’ve been wondering why people are writing bad reviews with employees at this joint. I come here time to time to get my coffee and a bagel and never had any complaints until today, I stopped by few minutes before closing time because I needed a couple buckets of bagels for early tomorrow morning and they don’t open till 6 a.m. and the door was closed already, so I knocked on the door asking to open and walked in to find out everything was closed already and blades were taken out from the cutting machine. I asked for an favor since it wasn’t even time to close and he was just stareing at me. I’m in a service business with multiple locations and I get to worry if any of my employees are doing it. Maybe it was my fault that I should have visited early enough. I really don’t know what to say.

This place is so horrible on all levels. It’s not clean, the service is rude and they will consistently give you the wrong food. I have tried this specific location multiple times, as I enjoy EB’s food. That said, avoid this specific location if possible.

Came in for a quick and quiet lunch during my work break. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ate my tasty lunch in peace and was on my way. Thumbs up for this Einstein location!

My last few experiences coming here: one day I brought in a Starbucks coffee to accompany a bagel i was getting to go and this short lady with dark hair scolds me, explaining to me that they sell coffee. No kidding troll, ever consider I might not like your coffee? Were u raised by Stalin? Forget too them ever getting an order right. I ordered a lox and bagel toasted on everything; no capers. I get one with capers so I return it. They give me back my order but now it’s on some cheese bagel. So I send it back confirming my order for the fifth time — they got it right!!! «Einstein» certainly nobody who works here

Inefficient staff led to long lines. Ability to get orders right is another mark against this place. Ordered plain bagel, toasted, with strawberry jam. When I got home, found that I got strawberry cream cheese. How hard is it to get an order right?

Oh G-​d, you just keep giving me more reasons to dislike you.
Why would I come here if I hate it so much, you ask? To meet friends, of course.
I brought my own gluten-​free breakfast and poured my Starbuck’s coffee into a generic Dixie hot cup. How could I be disappointed?
I asked my husband for a little butter, thinking of a nice, sealed butter patty to schmear on my GF cornbread. Of course they don’t have real butter and to reduce costs, serve margarine (or was it whipped yellow crisco?)
Hubby returns with the little tub of oleo. I look at it and see mixed throughout the blackened crumbs of dozens of toasted bagels.
You know how you make a sammich and you got a little too much mayo on the knife? Ok, so you scrape it back into the jar because you aren’t gonna waste it, right?
This was gross, not just because if I ate it and the gluten-​laden crumbs contained within, I would get explosive diarrhea within the hour.
In my book, this is akin to picking up that food that fell on the floor, washing it off, and serving it to your guests… I mean, it’s crumbs from dozens of other people’s food orders scraped into a plastic tub!

As a bagel lover, I was super excited that to see that they were opening an Einstein down the street from where I live. I noticed the «Now Open» signs as I was heading home from the gym, and promptly turned in.
It’s a standalone building that they had built in what used to be empty parking space. It’s nice & open on the inside, a good amount of tables and counters along the windows, and free wifi! There’s also some outdoor seating that will be getting some use as it’s getting nicer out. Definitely a nice addition to the plaza, and I promptly negated my work at the gym by ignoring their lighter options and getting a pizza bagel. Hey, it came with a salad…
