Fair prices for paper goods but everything else is fairly expensive. Customer service is ok, the woman who helped me was insistent on me buying something that I felt was too expensive and questioned why I didn’t want to buy it. The same woman rung me up and miscounted my purchase even after I counted it out a second time. She still charged me for more than what I bought. I will only shop there for specific paper items as they are hard to find elsewhere.

I have gone there for years, but this rating is just for the balloons. They are still floating after being delivered 5 days ago! Wow! I need to have another party. LOL

This is my go-​to party supply store for items that can’t be found at the Dollar Store. The reason I gave the review 3 stars is that their pricing strategy can be a bit confusing. Don’t get me wrong, they always have some type of sale or special going on, but the prices that are marked don’t always reflect what you will actually pay. You usually end up paying less then what you thought you would. If you’re on a budget, it can become overwhelming. The selection of paper products is good with the solid colors always on sale. I can usually find what I need for any type of party theme. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, just ask. Chances are they have it in the back stock room or they can order it for you. Staff is friendly and willing to help. The owner, Barry is usually always there.

Their service is good, balloons are reasonably priced, people are polite and patient. I would recommend them to anyone looking for balloon decorations. Lisa helped me in putting together the order for my daughters first birthday party, she understood what I need and provided me with good service. Thank you!

I used SGS for my wedding invitations and thank you notes. My mom and I worked with Stephanie, who was great. First, she allowed us to sit there and sift through her many, many books of samples. I know most people go the online route these days, but looking at a flat image on a screen does not work for me. It made all the difference to touch the paper, feel the embossing, and see the true colors not through the computer. I absolutely love the invitation style we chose, and Stephanie walked us through the wording, fonts, RSVP options, envelopes, etc. We were also able to work through her for the calligraphy, which turned out exactly as we wanted. The finish products were absolutely gorgeous! Even more, the end cost was about 50% less than what I would have spent to go with an online retailer. My friends can’t believe that’s all I spent to get such beautiful stationary.

This business specializes in the cheap throwaway stuff you need for decorating your house for a party. It’s hard to get very excited about, but if you really need to get a specific color streamer or plastic fork, then this is the place.

Please note that the other listing on Unilocal for SGS Paper Co. is incorrect, this store is located on Rices Mill. This is a great place to find funky and not-​so funky party supplies. They also sell heilium filled baloons. The store itself is really ware-​housey and the parking is a little sketchy (parking on the street seems better). The staff have always been so nice and helpful with all my party needs. Check it out!
