Amazing Bathtub Reglazing

Alissa it blows me away that you say that you strive for customer satisfaction yet completely ignored our concerns as a customer of your family business. Sorry girl we don’t play that game here in Glendora. Way to twist the issue and blame it on a mailing issue, for you failed to ever give us any real explanation. You were awful. You should not be running a family business with your attitude.

I would have given this company a 5 star had they guaranteed their work. Had the bathtub re-​glazed and was told after 24 hours to slowly peel the masking tape off. I did exactly as he instructed. There was one part that didn’t come off so easily no matter how gentle I was. It pulled off some of the glaze (near the faucet) Now it looks horrible. Called the company the next day, left a message about what happened. Never received a call back. I called again almost a week later, still no answer. Left another message. Finally, the day after my second message a woman calls me back and basically told me that’s why they offer to take the tape off for an additional charge of 45.00 I was never told that. She said it was in the email she sent me. She was not willing to help fix it, and kept saying it was time consuming to repair. After her continuing to say this I asked «so I’m stuck with it, there’s nothing you can do» She hesitantly said, send me an email with pictures. At that point, I felt like I gave my hard earned money to a company that wouldn’t back thier work. If for some reason the tape wasn’t sealed properly and pulled if up, how is that my fault. I had other glazing work to be done, kitchen 3 sinks and was going to use this company, but from what I experienced with the blame game, I will not use them. What really upsets me is I tipped the guy and then he tells me it’s a family business and he’s part of the family. If I had a do over, I would not use this company. All she wanted to do was put the blame on me and for that and never following up, I can’t recommend their work or customer service.

I chose this location based on Unilocal reviews, my experience was nothing like the reviews. First I set a appointment for a certain day and they came the following day. That’s one! second they come late and increase the price which I was ok with then the guy is on his phone texting. Then he leaves my home unlocked when I was on my way there to get cash out to pay them. I get home no one is there I called the company to find out where the guy left to and after the fact they mention the job wasn’t done correctly there was paint drips around the tub and they said they had to reschedule to redo it.. I specifically mentioned I needed this done by a certain time. I called the company and the manager or owner was rude «they couldn’t do anything about it» that sometimes happens. I work for a great company that takes pride in our customer experience. This company has none. Never once did they show empathy for any of their wrong doing. I believe in supporting our local business. This is one I won’t refer to anyone.

This is why i LOVE working with Family Owned Businesses! GREAT WORK but even better Customer Service! Every detail was explained prior to any work being done and there were no «added costs» — paid what they quoted me! It’s always great to have someone take pride in their workmanship especially when their working in my house!
