Very misleading business practices. Steer clear of this place. I called to make an appointment for a consultation and upon doing so I was told that the consultation was free of charge. I went ahead and made an appointment and went in for my so-​called free consultation. I was given an estimate for $ 3000 for a minor repair. I went ahead and scheduled the procedure. As the procedure date drew closer I started thinking that maybe I should get a 2^nd opinion because the cost seemed a little high and I figured I better be safe than sorry. Consumer affairs recommends to get 3 estimates. Therefore I cancelled my appointment and sought another opinion. After doing this I was advised by another doctor that my condition was premature and that i should wait awhile to get this procedure. So of course I was happy that I opted to wait and also get a 2^nd opinion. 6 months later I get a bill in the mail for $ 168 from a collection agency for this doctor. I was blown away! Why? I questioned them and they had no answer and very little info to give me for why or what this was for. I instructed the collection agency to figure what this charge was for and get back to me and I would take care of the bill. A week later I received another bill from the collection agency stating that the charge was for a consultation fee. I went ahead and paid the bill to eliminate a negative mark on my credit. However, I was never told that there was a charge for this consultation, nor was I ever told when I went in for the consultation. If I would’ve been told I would’ve paid it on the spot. Since my bill has been paid, I have received 3 additional calls on separate days from the collection agency demanding payment for a payment which has already been paid, with threats of damaging my credit. The doctors office stated that they issue a charge if you don’t do the procedure. However this was never told to me nor was I ever given the option to pay on the spot for a consultation because I was told it was free. Now they are saying that it is only free if you do the procedure. It would make more sense to charge the consultation fee initially and when you go in for the procedure deduct the consultation fee fee from the final bill. Worse thing about all this is that they’re still trying to ruin my credit even after they’ve already cashed my check. This is a very unethical business practice and the least they could’ve done when I called in to cancelled the procedure, they should’ve asked for payment at that time. I would’ve gladly paid. Come to think about it, $ 168 is exuberant for a simple office consultation. So do yourself a favor public… and stay away from this place!!!

I have been going to Dr Hendry for over two years now and have always had a pleasant experience. Very little time waiting and the staff is always very nice. Liz cleans my teeth. I usually have to psych myself up for this, but I don’t feel this way with Liz. She makes you feel comfortable from the very start. She is gentle and extremely thorough.
I don’t even clench my hands anymore during the process!!!

I’m a new patient. Had a 10:15 appointment. I even arrived at 10 as was instructed to fill out my new patient paper work. After 1 hour of waiting in the lobby I had enough and left. If you are running 10 – 15 min behind ok. DON’T WASTE MY TIME !!!

Went to Dr. Hendry when my regular Dentist, Alex Alberian, DDS referred me for my gingivitis. Dr. Hendry has all of the latest devices and techniques, took an x– Ray that did my entire mouth in one sweep! He then treated the gingivitis with laser. Painless compared to earlier treatment where they removed hunks of my gums. Just had my annual check– up and I am free of gingivitis. He and his staff were very friendly, helpful, professional, and effective!

I am NO longer going to this office. I have been a patient here for about TWENTY years. Since the previous doctor, Dr. Goldman, and the one before that, Dr. Kaminsky. Kaminski was gold, sorry he moved out of town. I called to see if Dr. H could take a 30-​second look at the gums around a tooth that my general dentist thinks might need a new crown. Made an appt. a week or so ago. I asked the office girl, Mary, if there would be a charge. She said yes $ 75. I said what? I’ve been a patient 20 years. Can you waive that, it will take 30 seconds/​Yes, she said. TWO hours before the appt., she calls and says, we need to charge you. It will normally be $ 125, but we will give you a discount, $ 75. I hit the ceiling. I FINALLY got the dentist’s wife Brooke to call me back. She gave me nothing but grief. I said you know what? I’m going to find myself a new periodontist. I have gone to their hygienist here for years, and my general dentist could not believe that Dr. H didn’t even stick his head in the door to see my chart, to see how I am doing. I will find a periodontist who appreciates a patient who shows up on time and pays her bill at the time services are rendered.

Dr Hendry is a great dentist. He uses state of the art equipment and carefully explains the results that are immediately available on the the digital screens. His procedures are about as pain free as possible — I was amazed when he told me the procedure was done. I have my teeth cleaned by Irena –excellent job always done. The staff is so helpful and friendly — Amber’s smiling face is the first person you see at check in. And Helen is the best at X-​rays. 5 stars to you Dr Hendry!

My wife and I have been patients at this practice since May, 2010. We were referred by our primary care dentist for gum surgery. Although our surgery was done by Dr. Goldman (who has retired from this practice) we have continued to see Dr. Hendry. He recently extracted one of my teeth and will be doing an implant. We’ve had our cleanings done here because the hygienist does an excellent job. Dr. Hendry takes the time to explain things thoroughly, answer any questions and makes sure that the procedure is painless. The entire office staff is excellent and very friendly, making you feel like a valued patient. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure that you have a positive dental experience. We continue to utilize his services and have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Hendry.

Dr. Hendry is great. I had a gum surgery with him and he was gentle. He also has a machine that gives the anesthesia so you don’t feel the shots that much. I highly recommend him. His staff is also nice and the office is well organized.

I was referred to Dr. Hendry for a crown lengthening (jaw bone shaving to ensure better fitting crown).
Before my visit I was scared a lot, based on how bad the procedure sounds and how awful the internet articles about the crown lengthening are.
Let me start by mentioning that offices were very clean and with that sterility feeling.
I was greeted by the doctor’s assistant Helen, who was the most nice and thoughtfull assistant I ever met in dental offices. I really felt her exceptional care and attitude in getting me relaxed and comfortable.
The other minor but important thing I noticed is that their x-​ray shielding cover had the extra collar area covering your neck. Feels good to be safer.
So… here comes Dr. Hendry. Friendly, answered my concerens/​questions. While I was worried and was asking may be too many questions, I felt his confidence that this is another easy procedure for him.
Anyway, he used some electronic syringe for the local anesthesia, and after I felt numb, started the procedure. I HAVEN’T FELT ANY PAIN AT ALL. Can you imagine this excelent surprise when I was anticipating «jaw bone shaving» !
All went well and very quick. I even didn’t have any pain after the anesthesia wore off.
I followed all care instructions for the following weeks, and did not have any issues, except a little fever (and may be slight infection) a couple of days later, which probably was because I did not take an antibiotic.
After a few weeks, I went back and Dr. Hendry removed the sutures. Another painless procedure that took 15 seconds.
Bottom line, if I ever need a periodontic service, I will defenitely choose Dr. Hendry and his office.
