Smile Makeover of LA

This place is a gem I have never been to a dentist who actually cares about his patients. Had been looking around and finally found Dr Sahakyan who is good at what he does. The staff is awesome front and back definitely will be coming here for a long time.

Huge fan of this practice. I was new to LA and went to 4 other dental offices before finding Smile Makeover LA. I’m a high need client and put off a lot of work. This was the first office where my anxiety didn’t prevent me from 2^nd and 3^rd visits. They don’t upsell and care about their patients. Their specialist recommendations are the best and office staff is very warm and friendly. They even find time to fit you in and take care of you in emergency situations.
My husband and daughters now come here and love it too. Highly recommended for family dental needs.

Just got my first procedure (yesterday actually) done here which was my two fillings. I have to say I was impressed with Dr. Sahakyan’s work! I got my fillings fixed during my lunch break at work and then I went back to doing what I normally do with no pain or discomfort I’m super excited to do more work with Dr. Sahakyan, especially my braces. I’ve had braces done before from another orthodontist that went bad and I wouldn’t trust my teeth with anyone else when it comes to getting braces again. I have high hopes the second time around will be the last! Also wanted to mention he has very nice staff!

My son has been a patient of Dr. George Sahakyan and Dr. Stella Sahakyan for the last year. I have been very pleased with the service that the doctors and the staff provided us. I have personally had work done with Dr. George Sahakyan and have been very happy. The doctors and staff are excellent with kids. I highly recommend this practice.

I was a long time patient of the previous dentist from this location, Dr. Debra Meacham… and she was such a great dentist that when she left, I was very worried that whoever took her place wouldn’t be able to fill her shoes. I’m happy to report that I feel just as well taken care of as I was in the past. The same dental assistants and wonderful office manager (Mildred) remain, and the Sahakyan brother/​sister dentist duo have won me over. I’m so thrilled to be going back «home» for my dental procedures.

Great service! Doctor Sahakyan fixed my broken tooth with care and it looks like new now. The office was clean. The staff was extremely nice.

When I was a kid I had bad experiences with dentists, or maybe just a child’s normal fear, but to this day I’m still a bit antsy and nervous going to dentists. As soon as I walked into Dr. Sahakyan’s (Stella) office, I was put at ease. I had Rita too, as the assistant, and she was great and calming. I also travel for work so it’s never easy to stay on schedule for regular cleanings and exams, oops, but they’ve already been so helpful and scheduling appointments around my preferred times and just making it work. As soon as I finished, the staff was already set to give me detailed information on what my insurance would cover and copay, no wait time. One of the best dental experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Dr. Sahakyan is very professional, thorough, caring and honest. The friendly staff always go above and beyond in making sure I’m comfortable and always find a way to fit me in.

The brother/​sister team at Smile Makeover of LA are so professional, caring, honest and gentle! They truly care about their patients and I’ve been their patient since they took over for Dr. Meachum. Anyone who wants excellent and affordable dental work should get at least a consultation.

The receptionist and the dentists are all so nice and the prices so reasonable. The work I’ve gotten done by them is looks amazing (I’m very picky) and they are very careful and gentle. Best dentist in La!

I came in on an emergency request and the doctor saw me right away. My smile was in such a state of disrepair, but with the good work I’ve gotten done here I’ve never felt better about it. Everyone is nice, patient, and takes great care to make you feel comfortable.

Seeing as I hadn’t been to the dentists since I was a kid, I’ve been spending quite a bit of time in the dentists office recently.
I’ve gotten a total of 7 cavities filled and my wisdom teeth are coming out soon. Basically, Smile Makeover has been my second home lately.
I’m typically one to avoid any and all medical procedures, so it says a lot that I’ve been willing to come here. The staff is pleasant and my dentist is fantastic. He doesn’t use my chest as a shelf like prior dentists, which is a plus.
Overall, I highly recommend this place
UPDATE: I just got my wisdom teeth out! I came in under the impression that I’d be going under and I was absolutely terrified. I have this phobia of not being 100% in control of my body.
Fortunately, they couldn’t find a vein because I’m a tiny human so I ended up staying awake for the procedure. It was absolutely no big deal and staying awake saved me like 700 dollars. It was done in about an hour. Didn’t feel any pain besides a few shots in the mouth to numb the area.
I came home, laid down, waited for the numbness to wear off and ate some soup. It’s the day after now and I’m not in any pain or swollen at all. They prescribed me some harder meds but I won’t even need to take them. I’m just taking the ibuprofen.
I have a friend who has been all over the place trying to find a good dentist to get her wisdom teeth out, and I texted her as soon as I got out yesterday and told her to come here for a second opinion! I can’t say enough good things about this place.

This place is amazing !!! Thank you to George sahakyan. I went to another dentist that messed my teeth, I was talking funny, I had pain and swelling. Dr. Sahakyan not only fixed my teeth but the pain was gone. He also gave me details on how to take care of my teeth and answered all my questions. Thank you so much for everything. I used to see Dr Meechum years ago, and finally, after procrastinating forever I decided to get in there again and meet the new dentist who took over, Dr George. I’ve been here twice so far and both experiences were great. All staff are extremely friendly and Dr George is patient and gentle. I definitely recommend checking them out.

This is a very good dentist office with great personal. They really aim to serve with what the patient needs and wants. Since coming to this Office, I have been able to maintain the best of health in my teeth, with good direction and feedback. As a result, I have been able to maintain and create healthy teeth! They are very accommodating in scheduling and do a very professional job. A great team! I highly recommend them for anyone to use.

There is no one who gave me a better dental experience than Dr. Sahakyan! It was relaxing just to be in his office. He is passionate when working with every patient, and made sure I left with a smile. His general enthusiasm for the work made me appreciate dentists more and that I do not have to fear them. I started taking better care of my teeth too after my first visits.
He has helped me so much and kept my smile looking great and healthy. Everyone else at the office had a great attitude and were all about helping me in the best way. Happy to get my smile makeover here!

Dr. George is very knowledgeable and skillful. There is very little to no waiting time. The Dr. works fast, accurate and makes sure the patient feels comfortable and experiences no pain. The staff is very friendly and nice.

Dr. George is an outstanding dentist. He did a tooth implant for me and the procedure was painless and affordable. I don’t go to him for general dentistry, but I heard many good things about his implant work. Glad I picked him.
