Established in 2006.

Relax the Back is a national franchise that started in 1985 with a goal of helping people make themselves feel better through products that they can use to improve their posture and relieve themselves from neck and back pain.

Joe Ellner is the owner of the Relax The Back at the Bayshore Town Center in Glendale, WI since 2006. In 2009 we were selected the Franchisee of the Year for exceptional sales and service.

My job experience has been in marketing in the food and healthcare industries, most recently at GE Healthcare in 2006. My career goals changed from moving up the corporate ladder to owning my own business where I can make a difference in people’s lives. I found Relax The Back was a great fit for me. It is a national franchise system that has relationships with top quality manufacturers, and excels in providing a great educational experience for the employees. This translates into a unique experience that customers remember. I have started and owned the Relax The Back at Bayshore Town Center since 2006. In 2009, we were selected as the Franchisee of the Year for Relax The Back for our exceptional sales and service. We are not the biggest store, but we treat people with compassion and have developed an expertise in helping people gain neck and back pain relief through properly supporting posture items.
