Spent an hour trying to find parking only to find when you get in the office, they validate. The lab is next to a run down strip mall. Parking in the strip mall is like trying to navigate your way through a narrow Walmart aisle. The place is bare bones, depressing and could use some fresh paint. Check in clerks are pleasant but several employees were standing around talking with each other as if they had all the time in the world. One was eating lunch in full view of patients. The waiting room is always full. Expect a long wait.

Despite what other reviews may have said, nobody seems to have mentioned the GEM of this lab, Mr. Walter Duran. He is by far the most asked for phleb at any Quest location in Glendale. He’s been drawing my kids’ blood since they were tiny babies and has never left so little as a mark on their arms. More so, my kids hardly feel a thing! Whenever I take them in, I’m always hearing other mothers with small children request for him as well as the elderly. He’s awesome at what he does. I’ve met each staff member and they are all professional hardworking individuals. Front desk lady, Misty is a sweetheart and can answer any question you have. :) BUT like any place, make an appointment first!

I went as a walk-​in, for fasting blood work early this morning. The waiting room was packed. I had to get my blood drawn before 9 a.m., and it sure didn’t look like it was possible. I had about a 30 minute wait, and they got me in before my deadline. Everyone was nice, the facility was clean, and Patricia, the technician who drew my blood, was a very efficient and friendly person. It really couldn’t have gone better. Thank you, Patricia!

I have read a lot of negative reviews for several Quest Diagnostics locations but I have to say, this is my second location I visited and both were fantastic. Today, I had a huge order, I think 13 tubes drawn. I scheduled an appointment through their online system which was easy to make, I even rescheduled once– no issues. Once I got there, I signed in, the lady at the front desk took my info, pulled up my order and I was drawing blood within 10min. (And they had about 5 people there) The nurse who took my blood was very careful, took her time, and attentive. She double checked all tubes and was very gentle while taking my blood. The place is clean too, so that’s a plus. I had a HUGE bruise on my arm after leaving the last location a few months ago, she was just a tad bit aggressive, but this nurse was very gentle and nearly painless, AND I was out of there within 30min!

Nasty small place with crappy workers. Waited forever and got only attitude, went to another location. Don’t give these nasty racist people your money!

The lab technicians were very rude to everyone. They would get testy if you asked them any questions. There is one male technician there that has been there for a year and he has no idea how to do simple administrative work at the front desk (and he lets you know that) and he will get very testy with you if you deviate from how that kind office work is done. And if he doesn’t know how to do it, he freaks out, starts complaining, makes the entire experience of drawing blood very uncomfortable and turns around making the entire situation your fault because he doesn’t want his ass liable for something he should know how to do. I truly cannot stress enough how much this guy complained over something so simple to do! For some reason, they no longer have a receptionist at the front desk who takes care of the payments and its left to the technicians. Right there is a problem. They are doing the office AND the lab work. If they hired someone to work the front desk, the level of rudeness and frustration may go down. But don’t count on that changing anytime soon. Making an appointment is a must. They say you can walk in, but I overheard walk-​ins say they had been there for over an hour. Luckily, I had made an appointment. I would say go someplace else. There professionalism and bedside manner leaves something to be desired. I will never return to this place.

This place is ghetto. The workers are rude. They look like high school drop outs. They almost drew blood from me but I was there for a breath test. Had I not called the girl out on it they would have made a big mistake. Quest Corp please pay attention to this lab. Or you will find liabilities here. One girl there was great. She was the only worker who tried to get patience seen right away. I wish I had her name. Latin girl for sure but not all are bad apples. Who hires these people?

I was here several times, because it is never to me, long waiting time even if you are scheduled. The front desk personal don’t have a good attitude. I wander who is a hiring manager… we pay (our insurance pay) for the service …

I have been to a lot of Quest Diagnostic locations, and this one in Glendale, was about the worst I’ve been to.
First, the young woman at the front desk is ridiculously slow and borderline rude. She wasn’t sure my insurance was accepted, and asked me to sit down until she verified. Meanwhile, 30 minutes passed, I get up to ask if my insurance was accepted, and her reply was, «Oh…yeah. Have a seat». Um, excuse me? On and on I wait, and each time I try to ask how much longer the wait will be, that girl is away from her desk.
It appeared there was only ONE phlebotomist working! Seriously? When it was finally my turn, 1 ½ hours later, the girl who put the needle caused me to nearly jump out of the chair from pain.
Quest Diagnostics has good locations with quality staff and procedures, this is NOT one of them!

Very bad service. rude employees. Long waiting

Met one of the worst medical employees here– Misty Olguin. For two hours, she was unable to check an insurance card and made us come in two times, considering the fact that we had an appointment. Horrible attitude and no willingness to help the customers in any way. Overly sarcastic and rude. Labcorp, here I come!

Horrible customer service!!! I had an appointment and someone who had just walked in with me at the same time (as a walk-​in) went in before I did. Can someone tell me what the point is in making an appointment if any random walk-​in can go before you? Walk-​ins have to wait longer and people who have appointments should be called in at their time! I waited 30 minutes just to get my blood drawn which took 2 min. Also there were roaches in the waiting room, I was disgusted and I also took a photo of a roach to show everyone. Never coming here again and would not recommend to anyone!!!

Awful service, made me wait an hour and twenty minutes after scheduling an appointment. Appointments seem unnecessary cus you’re out in the same line as the walk ins.
Insanely understaffed, and the people they have hired are insanely rude and condescending. The ENTIRE WAITING ROOM was upset over how long they had to wait, and when I brought this up to the nurse she just said, condescendingly, «yeah.» Boo boo boo to this poorly run medical organization

The information desk receptionist on 2÷21÷15 1100 – 1105 a. m
was inconsiderate and showed poor customer service. I came to drop off a specimen which is not supposed to be left in the drop off containers by the outside door. It was past 5 mins of their office hrs. She refused to take my specimen and wanted me to come back within their office hrs just so I could drop off the specimen. What’s 5 mins?

If you have three hours to kill, this is where you should go. All I needed to do was drop something off and they made me wait 45 minutes. The only reason why I’m giving this place two stars is for the parking guy. He was nice. Everyone else is very rude. Do yourself a favor and take the extra 15 minute drive to Chevy chase location.

Easy Quest with parking, nice phlebotomists, seats to sit in while you are waiting, and a clean atmosphere. There is another Quest in Glendale that is the hell version of this place. so make sure you book your appointment online at the right location! Mike took my blood very quickly. I was a little nervous and he put me right at ease. I had a 1 pm appointment and was out by 1:15.

This place is pretty awesome, they have 90 min. Free parking and great patient (customer) service. They’re friendly, patient & quick. My 4yr old gets crazy with needles & so I came here already fretting and hesitating the encounter with the nurse because they tend to not be so kind with a kicking & screaming kid. My kids gotten hurt over the years because of this. Anyway, the nurse was quick & made it painless for her. They even chatted up during the blood draw. Always bringing her back here

I switched my appointment to this location last minute after reading the Unilocal reviews of the one-​starred wild west basement 801 Chevy Chase location. This facility is small but clean and the staff friendly. The phlebotomist Mike was excellent, very friendly and extremely good at his job! People always have trouble finding my veins and I end up bruised and battered. I warned him it was going to be tough and he said he wasn’t worried then proceeded to locate my vein by touch and not sight and had my blood flowing out within a minute! Amazing!
They tell people to call for an appointment on their automated system but that it gives you first available only but that’s BS. Go online and schedule your appointment for whenever you want! Parking is free for 90 minutes with validation.

Overall a decent experience — I got here around 8:15 and there were a few people ahead of me. The front desk was pleasant and fast. The lady ego drew my blood, Carolyn, was amazing and, if you’re afraid of needles ask for her, because you can’t feel anything!

I was greeted by a dude, Michael, at the front desk and I told him that the suite number for the office was wrong on Unilocal.He defensively said that was Unilocal’s fault and not their fault but I said he could double check the info and edit it. He told me he couldn’t fix it. Then I said that anyone could fix it and edited the fix on my phone with the Unilocal app. He admitted that he didn’t know how to fix a Unilocal listing. Cool but don’t be a jerk to me for helping out or showing you something that’s incorrect that could help your patients.
My other problem with this guy, Michael, at the front desk is that he’s the kind of jerk that seems so fake when he tries to sound nice that it makes me want to barf.
The other staff folks were nice though and treated me kindly with out being creepy.
This location is in a clean and updated building but some of the Quest locations are in nasty old buildings so beware.
