I came here for the first time during lunch today. The place gets pretty packed but the service is fast and friendly. There is a nice big«lunch special» selection and I chose to play it safe with the chicken chow mein. It came with a soup of the day(egg drop soup with corn) and your entrée comes with rice(white, brown, or fried) and a veggie egg roll. The portions are big! My soup was tasty, not great, but good enough. The chow mein was pretty good as well. There was tons of chicken in it!.. I couldn’t even finish it all… In fact I would’ve traded in some of the chicken for more chow mein noodles. The fried rice was ok and the veggie roll was really good. Is it «bomb» Chinese food? No. But it’s pretty darn good for a quick lunch under $ 10. Note: the place is dated but clean.

Seriously I have no idea how this place has any 5 star reviews… I ordered delivery. So I will cut them some slack Sweat and sour pork lunch special that came with fried rice that tasted two days old and a soggy egg roll, the sweet and sour pork was also a pile of mush. Beef pan fried noodles… I think this is the only Chinese place I’ve ever had tough jerky like beef from and the noodles were weird Steamed dumplings… so disgusting that I fed them to my dogs, Doughy and huge oh and bland, might have helped if they had sent me some dipping sauce for them… My search for decent Chinese deliveries continues, because it is not this place.

Portions were pretty good size for lunch menu. Chinese side wasn’t very good, don’t know about the Korean part of the menu. Fortune cookie made me run out and buy a Powerball ticket though.

Great Food come with a big appetite. Portions are huge and very good… I had almond chicken my wife had the shrimp with pan fried noodles… We couldn’t come close to finishing our food and we really enjoyed it… We have lived in Glendale for years and don’t know how we never noticed this place but we will be back for sure.

I’ve only ordered takeout so far, and I enjoyed the food. I consider this the kind of place to visit when you need a reliable, predictable meal. Nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing off-putting either.

I happen to be in the neighborhood and wanted to try spicy seafood noodle soup. Compare to other Chinese restaurants, soup didn’t taste good. Just spicy… Also ordered fried beef noodle but this wasn’t good at all. I normally finish my food but just can’t finish it. I think I have to grab something else on the way home.

Hole in the wall with mediocre food. They do Chinese Korean food well, would recommend the seafood soup rice noodle. It’s like jambong with rice noodles, which is like a very tasty phở. Otherwise the Chinese food is meh.

Try the jjampong with sweet and sour pork(classic korean combination) and ask for the cabbage kimchi. Delish!

Definitely not the greatest Korean Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to but if I’m ever back home in Burbank and craving Chinese food I end up going here out of convenience and if I’m super desperate. My family used to come here often because of their buy one, one free jjajjangmyun deal but they don’t seem to do that anymore. When I went a few months ago they said you needed a coupon but I have no idea how or where they would be distributing coupons… In regards to the food, it’s average but I think the quality has gone down over the years. I think it’s slightly overpriced for the quality and how much they give you. The honey walnut shrimp was alright but they definitely skimp out on the amount of shrimp they give you. Not worth $ 16. Tangsooyook wasn’t super crispy either. It took them forever to bring out the jjampong. By the time it came out, my friends were nearly done with their jjajjangmyun. They’ve done a lot better job with the timing of bringing their food out in the past.

Good food. Good prices. Fast service and friendly staff. It’s my go to lunch spot on weekends and I recommend the orange chicken.

$ 13 for beef and broccoli and it doesn’t come with rice. And they don’t even tell you. WTF. It’s not that good. When you get Chinese takeout and you order something that isn’t noodles, ITBETTERCOMEWITNRICEIFYOUREGOINGTOCHARGE $ 13

I ordered a pork and fish dish, and they are really not good! It’s not cooked with right things but only uses some frozen vegetables. I also found a an unidentified plastics in my dish!!!

This place uses msg even though though you can ask for no msg. It was busy during Sunday afternoon and it took like 35 minutes for my mom’s simple noodle dish she ordered. They just said sorry for having a lot of customers. They should then hire more waiters. Although the waiters and waitresses work hard and are nice, management needs to hire more and not just push the waiters etc. when you go to a restaurant, you’re paying for the ambience and the service not just the food. My other friend got food poisoning due to the mag when they said they did not put it in.

The food does not taste like traditional Chinese food. The tastes are off for typical dishes such as orange chicken, pan friend noodles, friend rice. It is also either too salty, bland or starchy. Not to mention it is expensive. Norm is $ 12 per dish. Will not go back.

It’s been a while since I’ve actually dined at a restaurant for Chinese food that isn’t fast food. I’ve driven pass this place for years and never stopped as there are tons of surrounding restaurants that grabs the attention instead. A friend finally told me to grab dinner here as the food is good and he was right. Classic Chinese cuisine served up in large portions made to share is what you’ll get when dining here. We ordered the Orange beef, Mongolian beef and the combination chow mein. All three were excellent but the Mongolian beef was by far the best. The food is served in a timely manner as well. We waited no longer then 15mins for all plates to arrive. There was nothing special done to the food as in fusion nor culinary artistry which proves once again keeping things simple is always a good thing. Dinner 6÷24÷2015

Not the friendliest service, we asked for chop sticks but we were not given any, we asked twice. The dumplings smelled like they were freezer burnt and were not homemade. Shame, this place has potential, the 70’s décor needs updating, disappointed!

Their food is great, I was caught off guard. My experience reminded me that I should never judge a book by its cover or in this case a restaurant by my expectations. I was really craving Phở or some type of soup that day but settled for Chinese instead of looking for other places. Even with my mindset being on soup the food was so good that I left completely satisfied. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food. We ordered Mongolian beef plate with an order of Chow Mien. I find that most Chinese food places don’t do a great job with the sauce in their Mongolian dishes. This sauce was not too over powering and had the perfect subtlety of spice which allowed the beef to stand out. Also their service is excellent and the waiters are very friendly. The food is flavorful and very inexpensive. I would recommend this place for a cheap quick-fix for your next Chinese food cravings. Overall this place is great and I will definitely be coming back.

Just read some other reviews because i’m here thinking, «who could possibly complain about THIS place?!» And honestly i’m floored by the immaturity sooooo much that I feel its an injustice that needs to be defended against. I think its really unfair that some people don’t even ask honest hard working businesses to correct a service fault or perceived short-coming before publicly ostracizing that same business. Giving a restaurant 2 stars, because you feel them not refilling your water fast enough somehow negated the phenomenal taste and quality of the food and the overall good service as a whole, really is just immature & childishly vindictive. This place is nothing short of STELLAR in service and OUTSTANDING in food quality. Next time you as a customer has an issue perhaps you should ask for correction thru management and grade here( Unilocal!) based on that correction & corrective measures taken instead of running to backstab a hard working well established restaurant just because you spoiled impatient disposition was offended at them not swinging from mystical vines to serve at your every telepathical call. Its like all the practical cowards have all the digital courage. They don’t want take 20 seconds to ruffle feathers in person in asking for correction but will gladly take 15 mins to publicly degrade a company on a computer… Sad. ok… That’s my 2 cents.
