Lorna is absolutely amazing at what she does. You won’t find anyone else to do an amazing job for a reasonable and cheap price. She handles you with extreme care. She is always busy so I recommend calling ahead of time otherwise you risk waiting 15+ min for her. She does not work Monday’s therefor she is available Tuesday — Sunday. I’ve been coming to her for 9 years now and she never disappoints!

Went here yesterday for a mani pedi. Asked if they took cards they said ‘yes’. Paid and got charged an extra dollar for using my ‘accepted’ card. No nail rep made me aware of this extra charge. It bothered me that they sprung it on me after service at time of payment. Nails look good and they didn’t cause me an infection so other than he extra buck I say it’s a go.

So, I’ve been coming here for 10+ years now. It’s down the street from my house so it’s convenient for me. However, I’ve come to realize that if I’m not getting my nails done by Susan, then I should be expecting my nails to be jacked up! Susan is the best one there! Not only does she understand the concept of pleasing her customers but she doesn’t have a blind eye to what a straight nail is supposed to look like. I just visited this place on ¹²⁄₁₉ to get «coffin nails» and the since Susan was booked all weekend, I let this young woman do it. All my nails on my right hand are slanted to the right and all the nails on my left hand are slanted to the left. Besides that, she put at least 5 layers of polish which by the way, obviously didn’t dry til the next day so here I am stuck with crooked, dented, not so coffin like nails. Full set is only $ 24 so you get what you pay for. Oh, only 5 parking spots. Don’t park in the restaurant’s spaces because you will get your car towed.

I love this nail spot because not only is it very convenient to where I live, their work is absolutely great.
One downfall about this place is the parking. There are only about 3 spots available for this business itself. I usually have to park in other spaces, praying I don’t get towed.
Lora Is amazing at acrylic and waxing! She’s me go-​to, but everyone there is equally great.

This is a solid place to go to when u are short on money but need some eye brow assistance pronto!
I’ve been going to Lorna to get my eyebrows waxed since I was 15!!! That’s 11 years now!
For the longest it was $ 8 and now it’s $ 9 but the price is still great.
Parking does stink and they only have 4 designated parking spots in the lot and so you can waste a lot of time searching for a spot.
It’s a no frills place and doesn’t look like much but they get the job done and have been in business forever.
Like I mentioned before, this place isn’t perfect but they get the job done.

I have never been so impressed at a nail salon before! Lorena took the time to get out in grows she found that were infected put a anticeptic on it. Took the time to get out numerous knotts. She genuinely cared.

Nelson is the best! Beautiful sculpting, colors. Jokes and fab music.
The staff here is very busy and nice; just get to know them.
Ask for Nelson on the phone; if he’s busy he will hook you up with a co-​worker.
They don’t have a receptionist, so expect him to assist to schedule you in.
The prices are great.

I live in West Covina and i drive here every two weeks to get my eyebrows done by Lorna she is awesome. I been her client since 2000. I will not change her for the world. She is the «BEST»!!

dirty place. i went several times because it is close to home, normally i walk right in and get service but i was told on two occasions to wait which i did but i was told i could wait next door at the restaurant mariscos and they would let me know when it was my turn. both times they never came for me. first time i let it slide but today i waited 45 minutes when i was told it would be 30 minutes and then returned to find everyone working on new customers and i had been forgotten. i have been there at least 10 times and i always tip $ 5 for the manicure and $ 7-​$ 10 for the pedicure and this is the treatment i get??? totally unprofessional people!!! there’s too many nail places around for workers to take advantage like that.

Horrible experience. I walked in and no one made eye contact or said a word to me. I sat for over 20 minutes before I finally ask if someone could help me and they said 15 more minutes very rudely. I ended up just leaving. I won’t come here again

Horrible service. Lana gives you an appointment and starts doing someone else’s nails 5 minutes before your appointment. They’re never on time and very unorganized.

Okay, super nice, her name is MiMi and did a great job with gel manicure plus actually listened to my special request and did it with a smile. Louis did my pedicure & what a sweet heart. First time here but I’ll be coming here from now on & requesting them by name! Worth it.

I went here Saturday afternoon for a fill and a pedicure. Since it wasn’t busy I was able to be seated right away. There are spa chairs at the front of the shop but I guess they don’t work because I wasn’t even offered one. No big deal, I like being able to have my hands done same time as my feet. The water was barely luke warm and I like it hot. I asked for more hot water and I guess they thought I said it was too hot and put in cold. Got that sorted out.
I had found a couple pics of what I wanted on my nails, and at first the guy doing my fill said ok, but then the girl doing my toes was having trouble figuring it out. So I said forget it let me see your designs. They gave me 3 displays of designs, just your basic everyday designs. I picked out a simple butterfly, and the guy told me they couldn’t do it. WHAT? How can you not do a design that you are showing? turns out that the person who did that one no longer works at the shop. at that point I asked the girl to just do the polish while I chose another design.
someone moved the portable a/​c they had, and what comes running out across the floor? ROACHES!!! As I look down by where my shoes and bag were, I saw a baby roach run past. I grabbed up my bag, paid for my services, told them forget the designs, shook out my shoes and socks to make sure nothing was in them and left.
NEVER AGAIN!!!

I have been coming here for 12 years! They are great! Love my pedicures and manicures. Staff is friendly. Just don’t come after 5pm on a Friday. It gets really packed. But love coming here! They aren’t the best looking place but prices are fair and they do a great job. As any nail place I have encountered just make sure to state whatever you need or don’t.
Also parking sucks. That’s where they lose a point :/

The gossip sites say Gwen Stefani was at a Burbank nail salon on 2.20.13, but she was actually here. So cool.

I’ve gotten gel manicures and pedicures here for a few months now. My gels last two weeks on average, without getting too grown out at the cuticle. The most selection of gel colors I’ve seen anywhere, too. I prefer the women doing my nails, nothing against the men there, I just like how the women really push back my cuticles.
I haven’t gotten waxing done, but as far as cleanliness goes, they dispose of the plastic liner after every pedicure in the footbaths they use. Unfortunately, I’ve never seen their actual spa pedicure machines operational– they have caution tape on them so I’m guessing they don’t work or it’s too expensive to run?
I’ve never been treated unfairly or had rude customer service, but I also don’t come to chit chat. I like to sit in silence, read a magazine or watch their tv.

Lorna is my only reason for coming into this establishment and she does great eyebrows. Doing eyebrows is definitely her forte. I normally thread my eyebrows and only come here when my regular lady is too busy. It would be greatly appreciated if they enforced there staff to wash there hands and accustomed more hygienic habits.
So I was in here recently to get a pedicure. Susan did my friends pedicure. My friend has gotten her toe brutalized in the past by other nail assassins, so she likes to look when they are cutting her cuticles. Susan, the lady that did her pedicure, told her NOT to look. My partner was a little bit irritated after that, naturally. And that’s when it started… All the damn chatter. I don’t speak her language, but I DO know when someone is talkin some shit, and that bitch was talkin some.
I would like to have spoken to the manager, but it turned out that Susan IS the owner. I’ll leave the rest to your imagination. I’m gonna do the only thing I can do… take away a star. Ha!

You know the nail lady that smiles and nods at all your requests then politely disregards everything you requested? She works here if you want to stop by.
Kinda pricey. I asked for square, but round in the corners, thin, no curve and narrow nails. Let’s just say I’ve been sporting pink spongebobs on my fingers for a week now.
The pedicure was good. And it’s convenient. Thus 3 stars.
