Established in 2002.

For over 11 years I have been simplifying the process of home updates and remodels for a variety of clients in California, Florida and the Midwest. My clients rely on me for exceptional designs, attention to detail, and a problem-​solving ear. My design background and world travel experiences have been a real asset in understanding the nuances of different design styles. And through the years, my fantastic artisans and resources have been my greatest allies in changing lives through great design.

And yes, a lot of my clients love food, wine and travel, so we share a lot in common! All in all, enabling people to live their lives to the fullest, in spaces they love with the people they care about, is the greatest reward for what I do.

Business Owner

Marlene is a full-​service, award-​winning interior designer. Qualified through education and examination, Marlene is a former food editor for Better Homes & Gardens Magazine, and has 2 decades of experience in set design for photography. She works on all types of home redesigns and remodels, and as a former cookbook author (aka Marlene Brown), she knows her way around kitchen design in particular. Several of her projects were featured on the Pasadena Home & Kitchen Tour. Marlene is known for her creative designs, attention to detail, and spectacular customer service. She has cultivated an impressive roster of talented artisans she relies on to make her designs a reality. And she loves helping clients fall in love with their homes!
