After explaining the challenge of inventorying hundreds if not thousands of variants regularly, the staff gladly refunded my money. They educated me how I can ask to inspect bagged books. Being a novice still at this makes this info valuable. I do plan on revisiting this store in the future.

12 – 14 asian guy behind the magic counter the one with the weird combed haircut is a rude and very useless employee… him and his 6 friends were eating over the glass that the cards are under and even though we were looking to buy cards they did not move. He was being a turd ignoring questions & talking about how he needs a new job, Good luck bud anyone who hires you is screwed. This guy and his friends made the experience very annoying they left no room for customers to look at cards… funny thing is i think the owner wont even care because the employees are his friends… will never buy if this guy is behind the counter… hes the one all the way on the left in the pic with all the employees on free comic day

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and has a good selection of manga and comics.
I got my entire Alice 19 collection here for a very fair price and some Tokyo pop disconnected manga for their original price ($ 10 when eBay and Amazon was selling for 40−50+).
If they don’t have it in the store they can also order it for you.

Well I can say I liked the site it self very clean and organized. They have a huge and good variety of both comics and Action figure I really enjoyed browsing. But unfortunately the staff wasn’t helpful or at all courteous. I didn’t leave empty handed and was over all happy with my purchase. I hate to make a bad review but I call it how I see it and the guy at the register actually ignited me twice and seemed annoyed and bothered when I asked for help. Idk I’m debating about returning. But overall great Store not staff.

Legacy Comics and Cards is the go to place for your comic book needs. I have been a loyal customer for a number of years. Howard and Henry and the rest of the crew are friendly and helpful. New comic books are placed on the stands promptly on Wednesday and the selection of back issues is readily available. Gold and Silver age comics are on hand as well as statues, toys, graphic novels, key chains, cards, supplies and more! This is a gem for the comic book fan or collector. Access to the shop isn’t a burden and there’s no traffic to fight. Check it out!

I went to legacy comics ⁹⁄₂₆ since they claim to have“the largest collection of silver and golden age comics in the area”. After looking around at back issues and not finding anything silver or golden age I asked the guy at the counter, who was busy watching his animé, where I could find the older stuff. Apparently you need to setup an appointment with the owner to see those comics! And appointments are available only during the week!
How true this is, I don’t know. The guy at the counter didn’t seem to interested in anything other than his animé.
This experience wouldn’t have been as bad if they had put the appointment info on the website, could have saved myself some time and the disappointment.

Amongst negative talks from a friend of mine this place was great! The guy working at the time (Asian fellow-​what?! I’m Asian too, I can say that) worker was professional and cool to chat with. The collections there was semi-​average. Lots of variety and lots of copies. Perfect for sellers. The books were priced right and they looked to be handled with care.
The cards shop on the other side was semi-​small. But lots of cards to choose from. A table in the middle proved these guys were hardcore card players.
I accidentally got a double copy and was able to return it with no questions asked. Great service and a good time! Coming back here next time when I am in the area!

Don’t bother going here unless you like being ignored and talked down to for being new to card games or comics when they finally get to you. The pretentious attitude of the employees was amazing to experience and when they actually broke away from their friends to talk to me they made me feel like a burden. I’ll take my money literally anywhere else.
So again, don’t go here unless you’re already a regular.

Nice selection of trades, friendly service. Helped me find some back issues while passing through town. Plus they have a game room, which is awesome and makes my inner geek scream.

Best comic shop in the area. The staff usually aren’t very talkative and engaging but for some that can be a bonus. Very organized and easy to find weekly comics and large selection of other items

I live 5 minutes away from this place but I won’t be coming back due to the poor/​lack of customer service I always get. They have a great selection of cards but the bald guy working the cards section in the back always looks at you like a burden and annoyed face and he answers very rudely when you ask him a question as well. Ive spent alot of money on cards here but Ive had enough bad experiences that I wish I had given it to the store in pasadena instead. You want a good trading card store drive to Pasadenas CORE TCG its worth the drive because they actually appreciate your business and make you feel welcome. Avoid legacy.

Fuck the staff that works most of the time in the Yugioh card section first we go in and see an Armenian asshole who doesn’t even ask if we need help until we were like 15 min in there then he finally helps us and seems bothered by the questions we ask and I came to find out he doesn’t even know anything about Yugioh so he’s just being a prick because he can’t answer ur questions we left pretty pissed off cause of this then we decide to give him another chance but this guy is just a miserable piece of shit…
Then I go another day and a fucking Asian guy is there we start asking questions and again he seems bothered by my questions «I just need to know if u sell the card I want to buy you asshole ««if u don’t want to make a sell then just fucking close the store» not only that a little kid went to ask a question and this fucking guy was so fucking rude to him I don’t think he gets that he’s a little kid and has question.
Fuck the staff at legacy except for a chubby Asian guy that works there his nice…

Cool shop. Been going here on and off for over 15 years. They have a great selection. Tons of «exclusive» variants. However, its on and off with the customer service. Theres one asian guy (pretty sure not the owner) whos hardcore MTG, knowledgable about comics as well, but seems like it’s a pain for him to help people out with anything. When I got back into MTG a few years ago I went here to ask some questions and it seemed like he was mad at me (rolled his eyes, sighed a few times) for not knowing new rules, and characters etc… I wasn’t asking for a tutorial at all just fundamental knowledge of new rules and certain creature. Should have just looked it up online. Now, I kind of cringe if hes behind the counter. On the contrary, there have been different employees who have been more than helpful. Last time i was there I asked a bunch of questions with a younger employee, I would say latin guy (?) who was obviously willing to help. Anyway, i still go back for comics and like i said its hot and cold with the customer service. I say dont take it personal, get your comics/​cards and go.

Been here a handful of times when I’m in the Glendale area. They have a large selection of figures and comics to work with which is a good plus. Typically, its a busy spot which means they gotta be doing something right. From sports memorabilia to Magic/​YuGiOh, their card collection is pretty stacked. I’m sure you’ll find what you need at a decent price easily. I appreciate that they have an Animé collection in a side room and hold card tournaments frequently; helps out the community a lot.

This spot is closest to me but I don’t think I’ll be coming here anytime soon. Last time I went was for 75^th anniversary of Batman where they came out with 4 masks and a cape. All were free at every spot I called and went to… Except legacy. I was required to buy a comic for each mask. Okay. No biggie. I decided to skim thru and buy 4 batman comics. Figured the price wouldn’t be crazy. I ended up spending close to 50 bucks! Idk how that happened when I rang it up in my head from the sticker price. But I didn’t question I guess cuz. Idk. The place didn’t make me feel like I belonged. Which is weird to say cuz I never have gotten that vibe at other spots. Anywho. I have spent less and got more from other amazing comic stores and couple of people informed me that legacy does this. If you are a girl and not a regular and don’t play cards. Well you aren’t that welcome in the store. Someone called them «elitists» lol.
The store itself has tons of stuff! And collectibles I dig! I guess I just had a crummy experience that left me broke LOL.

This comic store is well stocked and organized, unfortunately there customer service is terrible; won’t be coming back.

Comic store located in Glendale. Have a really wide selection of books including graphic novels, back issues, and current comics. Love that they include a bag and board with each book! They have an extensive kids selection as well including kids graphic novels, digest books, and a big current selection of comics. Not only that but they have a large selection of Pokemon, Yu-​Gi-​Oh, and MTG along with card supplies and sports cards. The guys who work there are very helpful. My daughter’s favorite store! Just an A+ all around.

If you have time to kill and like to look for MTG card deals, this place would fun to shop at. This store carries a Binder and everything in it is $ 0.25 each or 10 for $ 2.00.
I like coming here if I have nothing to do on a weekend day and am just wandering around. If I’m in the area, I’ll stop by and check out this shop.

Legacy comics is my favourite store to play heroclix at. Located at the heart of Glendale off Grand on Winston, it boasts an incredible collection of graphic novels as well as current issues. The toy and collectible games are also very well stocked here.
Because of the lack of play space, tournaments are not very well advertised and only a dedicated core of players attend the small tournaments hosted here. The prize support is awesome here and the owner Howard is extremely generous.
Parking can sometimes be an issue as it is shared among several other businesses, you may sometimes have to park your car over at the Glendale mall and hike a block and a half back to the store if street parking is not available.
All the staff here are nice and I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent venue.

This store has pretty poor customer service. I came on a Thursday night with my girlfriend around 8pm. The place was overspilling with a bunch of young guys playing a card game. All of the lights were on, and the front door was wide open.
Yet, the person behind the counter asked me very rudely if he could help me. I told him it was my first visit. He then barked «we’re closed — that’s why». Apparently, they aren’t worried about making a sale, and they behave as if you’re doing them a favor by being there. I’ll go elsewhere for comics and graphic novels. It wasn’t so obvious they were closed. I can understand needing to shut it down, but people were clearly playing games there and a little courtesy would have gone a long way…
