Ask many questions before you enter a contract with these guys. Also… be present during the work… I came home to a front yard covered in trash including trash in my neighbors yards and in the street. My home was prepped, patched, and sprayed in 1 day. Days of prep were anticipated based on the talk during the estimate. I will be lucky if this paint lasts 1 yr. I canceled the interior painting on the spot.

we needed some of the facia around our face repaired… contacted James… and as the other reviews have indicated, we were pleased at the «no pressure» approach from James. Professional through and through… quotes were done quickly and as scheduled. James had great suggestions at how we could improve the look of our home. His crew works incredibly quick and very professional. I would recommend James to anyone and will definitely plan on using him again in the future.

A few months back, we had the exterior paint of our home painted. Before settling on this company, we did our research and price comparison with various painting companies. We had several meetings, but we ultimately selected James White’s company because they left a great first impression.
We had our exterior home painted by James and his crew. James and his team provided excellent professional service, good line of communication, and quality work all at a reasonable price.
After signing the contract, his team came by to power clean the house, do some patch work and sanding before finally painting our home. Both the prepping and painting was completed in a span of two and half days. Even during the process we had a few hiccups, but James was there for us until we gave the final thumbs up on the finished product.

James and his team are awesome. I had a really great feeling about James the day of our free estimate. I believe it took 2−3days to paint our home. They power washed first and then prepped. Very honest and hard working group of guys. They would start working at approximately 730am and left by 5−6pm. On the last day we did a walk around of the house and job they did. If there were any touch ups they will touch it up for you. They never rushed their work. They definitely take pride in the job they do. The price was very competitive. Great job guys!!! It looks amazing and we love the outcome. They did such a great job there were so many of our neighbors and even just passer bys who complimented the work on our home. Some of my other neighbors even came and asked my personally for their info. We are so happy!!! Thanks you so much James & team!!!

Very easy and stress-​free experience working with James and his crew. We had called around 5 painting companies for quotes, and James was very competitive.
James answers his phone and returns calls quickly. We were scheduled to begin on a Friday, but the day before James called and said the weather forecast didn’t look great, so we re-​scheduled to Monday. Monday morning at 7am his crew arrives to power wash the house. They also sanded, patched, and prepped the house the same day. Tuesday and Wednesday were spent painting starting at 7am. They were done by Wed afternoon. Each of those days, James would touch base with us and answer any questions. The foreman was also very good at communicating each step of the process.
We were encouraged to walk around the house afterwards for a check. I found the security cameras weren’t flush with the walls, a plant was stepped on by the house, and minor damage on a window screen. James had his guys come out the next day to fix the cameras. He also provided a solution to the window screen. I didn’t bother telling him about my plant — it’s not too big a deal. They’ll grow back in a couple weeks.
From start to finish, the communication was awesome. Definitely would call again!

This is the second time I have had James White Painting paint the exterior of my house. They are outstanding. The house was power washed one day; they returned on Monday, sanded and repaired stucco and wood damage, painted in my preferred colors cleaned up and were gone that afternoon. My plants were protected, the exterior windows were cleaned, including the 10 light french doors and five light side panels on either side of my family room. They are professional, polite and efficient. They really deserve the highest praise. I would recommend James and his brother to anyone looking to paint their home.

I am so pleased with the job they did on my house last November. The advice and service was outstanding. I have a 3 story house that did not intimidate them in the least. I had been thinking that I might need to replace the shingles on my house because they were faded and worn. They replaced the missing shingles and my house looked amazing in only 3 days. Their team of 8 guys makes the job move along very quickly. Honest, professional and affordable. I am so glad I called them.

James White painting company was fantastic. I called and James came the following day showing color samples. I chose the color and trim I wanted on my home and two days later his crew arrived. They finished my house in one day. They started at 6:30 A.M. with the masking of windows, etc. but they completed the job in late afternoon. Not only were they expert painters, but they were very clean and tidy. They were even gracious to my neighbors who walked on the sidewalk in front of my house. The house looked so beautiful that I removed very old bushes from my front flower bed and James sent one of his staff to touch up some stucco that was obscured by the foliage. This company is truly A1, the very best. I shall never use another painting company again.

5 stars for sure. I will recommend James and their team. I am not used to a contractor doing exactly what they say. The cost was reasonable. They showed up early and finished painting my entire house is a day! I talked to Cesar the foreman and he said he has been working for them since 1996 and the team that came to my house has been together for 8 years. That said a lot to me. They were very neat and cleaned up everything. Low cost, great work and they did what they said when they said they would do it. What else would you ask for?

He will not persuade you to do unnecessary paint or repair job like re-​stucco if your house don’t need it. Not only that, he’s very approachable & easy to reach. Power-​hosed my house the next business day. Sanded, patched, repaired minor issues, painted everything we have agreed upon the next day! Completed the entire house paint job in one day. I called three painting contractors based upon Unilocal and other ratings sites. I ended up choosing James and John White. Great service, very friendly, very responsive, clear and concise communications.
They did great work — sanded down all my window sills, rain gutters, hand rails. Patched the stucco exterior where it was cracked or damaged, then covered up everything with protective plastic prior to painting. Painted the whole house and all the trim. Then they cleaned up everything prior to leaving.
Very happy with their work and would recommend to anyone considering having their house painted.

James came by the house on a Monday and had other jobs going on in my neighborhood. He offered his painting services at a great price since his crew was already in the area. Asked if they could get the job done later that week. They cleaned on Wednesday and prepped and painted Thursday.
His crew was easy to communicate with and did good work. They prepped wood and stucco then painted. They did a good job of covering our plants, walkways and outside furniture. When wrapping up the day’s work, we walked the house together and they touched up some final spots I requested. I would highly recommend hiring these guys.
I had requested white for my fence posts but wasn’t happy with my decision. They offered to come back and repaint at no charge. James has followed up after the job to make sure I was happy and has offered to send his crew back if I find anything I want touched up. He even brought by some extra paint for my accent colors so I could touch up as needed.

A nice young man named James White came by this past Monday, trying to line up more painting work in the neighborhood to make good use of resources. He had just painted a neighbors home, looked great, and was quoting a price that included a power wash, all sanding and prep, painting and that included the garage door, awnings, screen door and roof vents on top of stucco and trim. I was a little surprised, but had only guessed what painting would cost. This was too good to pass up, so he began work washing that day. They even used a good paint, with a 20-​year warranty.
Work was scheduled to begin today and end tomorrow. Yet they arrived just before 7:00am as promised and this team of people went at it like a well oiled machine. By 1:45pm they had finished, and cleaned up everything. A few thin spots, but they left all the extra paint and I am more than willing to run around and do a few touch ups.
Don’t hesitate in saying yes to James. He is fair, honest, and there was not a single issue. Well only one. The guys need to learn how to sort trash if you live in an area like I do that has multiple trash cans. That took me a whole 10 minutes to resort, so big deal.

I really wanted to like them, since James Jr is a pretty cool guy. Prices were lower than some other companies whom i got quotes on, and based on the Unilocal review, i decided to go with them.
The paint job was ok, not great, just ok. Being a new home owner, I was nervous bout getting my house painted especially since this is the biggest purchase I’ll ever make. There were about 6 members in the paint crew, who all came around 7am, and they finished around 2pm, I have about a 2500 sq ft home, so I was really surprised when they told me they were already finished. The job itself seemed pretty rushed as I noticed many imperfections, for example there were paint left on the garage windows, which i ended up having to scrape off, and the pipes on top of the roofs weren’t paint as promised. Some of the lines weren’t straight. I felt like i was over promised and that the job was super rushed. I admit I’m anal when it comes to my house, but it is my house.
They used this super thin cheap plastic to cover the ground to prevent the paint from splashing on the cement. But if you walk on it, because of the quality of the cheap plastic, it easily rips and leaves holes in it. Which inevitably left paint on the cement. Which was a concern of mine before hand, but James told me not to worry about it. It was such a pain scrubbing out the small splashes of paint left randomly everywhere afterwards.
I would totally recommend this company if you were flipping a house and you needed a quick paint over to sell the property or if you have a rental property you wanted to paint. But for your own house in which you really cared for, I’d go with someone else next time.
