Dr. Koutnouyan has been seeing patients from the Glendale, La Canada, La Crescenta, Burbank, Los Feliz, Pasadena and surrounding communities since 1997. He has performed more than 4,000 surgeries in all aspects of otolaryngology at the area hospitals. He treats children as well as adults.
He is a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine. His functional approach to health allows him to help his patients with all aspects of their ENT conditions: from prevention, to medical and surgical treatments as needed.

Dr. Koutnouyan is a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist who joined the practice in 1997. He graduated with honors from the University of California at Riverside and received his medical education at the University of California, San Diego. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, California. Dr. Koutnouyan incorporates a functional approach in treating a broad spectrum of adult and pediatric ENT conditions. These include nutritional, lifestyle and whole body assessment and interventions as appropriate. His particular interests include snoring and sleep apnea, pediatric ear and throat infections, nasal allergies and sinus conditions, thyroid and parathyroid conditions, voice disorders and rehabilitating hearing loss in the elderly.
