A very high quality service experience, plus good selection and great prices. The saleslady (owner?) pressed the mattress shippers to take my order even though it was past the normal cutoff because I needed the mattress quickly — that was much appreciated. I bought a queen bed and a twin mattress, and they have free delivery. The whole thing was quick, easy and painless. Definitely recommend!

My boyfriend and I finally had to throw away our air mattress and get a real mattress. After shopping around we stopped in here and Henry helped us out. We had a smaller budget and he was very helpful and knowledgable about the different mattresses. Also willing to help us get a good mattress for a good price! Our mattress was delivered 2 hours later! Definitely recommend checking it out for your mattress needs!

I haven’t been mattress shopping in a long time. My current mattress was sinking in the middle and I was starting to have back issues. For black Friday I decided it was time to replace it. I planned to go to Sears for their doorbuster but found this place across the street and stopped in. The salesman was both honest and friendly, willing to make me a deal on top of the black Friday deal just to make sure that I could get the mattress I needed and stay in my budget. And they gave me same day delivery for no extra charge. I entered the store at 11:30 and now, at 3:00, the mattress is in my bedroom and the old P.O.S. is gone. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a new mattress!

Wow! We expected good service based on all the amazing reviews but Danny and the Mattress Star /​Mattress Clearance team really exceeded expectations.
My boyfriend and I showed up at 8PM (they close at 9PM) and we had the whole place to ourselves. Danny was the perfect salesman — knowledgable but not pushy. He knew when to step away and give us time to test out the mattresses and discuss our preferences privately. And he always had fair feedback to offer as we weighed our options. I expected a much more salesy experience and really appreciated the low-​key atmosphere and comfortable shopping experience.
We got an an excellent deal and it felt great to walk away knowing we made a good decision! Also we are an indecisive couple so we were there well past closing but never felt rushed AT ALL to make the purchasing decision quicker. Also the latex pillows they sell have served us very well. :)
I will definitely recommend these guys to friends and family!

Ready to slam down cash for a great quality, king sized mattress but the store was completely deserted! I heard someone chattering in the back area and yelled, «hello?» but no one came out. Very disappointing.
Ah well! I bought my mattress online, baby, the exact mattress I was looking for and it was $ 400 cheaper than this store! Thanks for the lack of service, you really helped me out! :)

This place is awesome! My husband and our two little girls were on our way to Sit N Sleep right up the street, until we saw 1000 other mattress stores! We decided to go with a more local and not chain store, so we came here. What a GREAT decision we made! First off, our 2 year old fell ASLEEP right when we walked in! So, we knew it was the right place! Henry helped us for almost a whole hour to test out all the beds with thorough descriptions and comparisons. I didn’t feel like he was pushy at all. Henry gave us an amazing deal and totally readjusted the price based on our budget. We even upgraded to a King! He also threw in two extra organic memory foam pillows that we love as well. Our new bed (and pillows), the Therapedic is sooooo comfortable. We sleep so much better and our backs don’t hurt as much! I’m so happy we chose this place!

Haven’t slept on the mattress for a week yet, but this review is for the sale.
Henry was pretty helpful and friendly. They have two stores, right on the same street, and they are 3 stores apart from each other, both owned by the same people. I ended up buying a memory foam bed, made out of bamboo instead of cotton? Not sure what this means, but Henry told me it’s not chemical based and it doesn’t get hot. so i’ll update on that later if its true! It’s SAMS brand, which i’m not familiar with.
Overall, I had a great experience purchasing my mattress from here!

My second mattress from matress star and mattress clearance store (same owners). Last mattress was 7yrs ago and they still have good prices and good service. They aren’t pushy. Give sincere opinions. Prices are better than big box stores but still too high for what you’re getting.
If i had my way I’d buy off craigslist. But the wife wouldn’t have a used mattress (what do you sleep on in hotels??)
