Best pancakes in town! They’re so good, you don’t need anything on them, not syrup, not even butter. Plus the service, from busser, to host, to servers, is always awesome and super friendly!

I’ve been going here for over 10 years. Always great service and food. Their breakfast is awesome. The French toast is something you need to try.
Their lunches are also pretty great. The club and croissant clubs are both things I usually get.
Even when there are a lot of people waiting, the wait is hardly ever over 20 minutes. Extra parking is in the back and also available in the motel parking lots next door.

We went here for breakfast this morning, had eggs, hash browns, bacon, and pancakes. The food was pretty good, no complaints. The service definitely needed a boost. Apparently, when you order tea you have to specify you want herbal, it seems like they are hiding it and just giving away black tea to customers who just order tea. When i asked for herbal instead, i was charged for an extra cup of tea. hm ok. Other than that, there were plates sitting all over our table with no where to move, no waitress or bus boy to be found. I didn’t go in with high expectations, but it was a 3 star kinda place. If you don’t mind slow/​no service the food is worth it.

Day drinking is always fun! So when I want a Bloody Mary or mimosa while I’m in Glendale, I usually choose this spot.
The staff is seriously so amazing and super sweet! My coffee and water were refilled without my asking every time I was low. The servers were attentive and sincere.
The coffee here is delicious so I drink it like water. The menu had pictures and a great variety of choices. I order the corn beef hash breakfast or Eggs Benedict when I come.
Definitely a spot worth checking out!

Super-​efficient breakfast and brunch in a cozy, old-​school family restaurant.
Brass, dark wood, carpet, even a fireplace — with a full bar, you could order a martini with your club sandwich for a real 1950s experience. Or come for breakfast, which seemingly everyone else in Glendale decided to do on Saturday morning. Thankfully the service is super-​efficient, at the cost of a little friendliness («Drinks?» was the greeting offered by the waiter. I don’t mind, because I’m not looking to make friends. I’m a loner. I’m a cowboy. On a steel horse I ride.)
«Leaning Tower of Mexico» was corn tortillas layered with beans and rice, topped with ranchero sauce and avocado. Unfortunately there weren’t enough beans, the rice was very poor and overcooked, and the sauce could have been a little more flavorful.
American items and desserts may be a lot better. I’d definitely be up for going back sometime, even though this dish wasn’t very good, because my companion’s sandwich looked great and so did the items at other tables.

Service– excellent, you dont need to wait for drink refills, they are always on top of it, they were friendly and nice
Parking– they do have free parking and additional parking around the block, it can get crowded during their busy hours
Restrooms– a little cramped but clean
Food — they have a lot of selections, we used to go here a lot before for breakfast after work since it was on our way home, but now since we moved its a treat for us to go here once in awhile (it is now out of our way)…the food never cease to amaze me, its been constantly delicious, today I had carne asada and the hubby got the chicken cordon blue, i love how tender and juicy the carne asada was, and the beans and rice that goes with it is so good. My husband emptied his plate too, he said it was really good.
Price — to me it was reasonable since the serving was big enough for 2 meals, I am still so full from breakfast and that was almost 8 hours ago

Recently stopped in here with a few friends for breakfast.
The food was good but the place was really packed. They had the four of us squeezed onto a table that would be better suited for two people.

got my bloody mary game on here as well as my low carb high fat choice: the cordon bleu chicken stuffed with ham and cheese, covered with two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. gave my potatoes away to carb eaters.
i noticed that the menu included a lot of amazing sounding mexican breakfast items like huevos rancheros, huevos machaca, carne asada with eggs, etc etc. the options were endless and no wonder this establishment is still going strong after so many years. this place which i’ve never noticed before i Unilocaled it, is across the street from the americana (back of nordstrom, close to robbin’s bros, where glendale galleria and the americana meet).
the wait was 15 minutes on a sunday morning around 11AM. not too bad and the line moved fast. the food was awesome! i love that their oatmeals are not cooked in dairy and comes with cream, jam, and raisins on the side. this was perfect for my baby, who is allergic to dairy as well as a bunch of other things. i used the cream from this dish to add to my coffee (i’d say the only downside is that the coffee creamers here are the unrefrigerated kind — i.e., the hydrogenated oil kind).
my husband chose the cinnamon roll french toast. it was super sweet so stay away if you’re watching your blood sugar levels. but, it was still so good he devoured everything.

This is one of those places that is perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but we go here mostly for breakfast. They have the stock options such as French toast, pancakes, and egg breakfasts but what sets them apart is the fact that they have menu items that incorporate a Mexican flare or traditional Mexican items. Other than that, the food is good but not amazing but there has never been a time where it has been bad.
I suggest the Spanish omelette, the croissant breakfast sandwich, the breakfast burrito, the French toast, or just your classic 2 egg breakfast. For lunch, the chicken sandwich is what I always get. Very good!
The place is always packed and usually it’s not more than a 20 minute wait. The servers are always good and on point. The food doesn’t take too long to come out. There is a nice flow between all the workers there and you can notice that starting from when you get there to when you leave.

I decided to visit Foxy’s after so many years. I had to write a review because the food was so good. It tasted like home made food. I liked the new additions to the menu. The complimentary bread so good when toasted. Excellent service and cozy ambiance.

Favorite breakfast place in Glendale
Friendly staff and great food. Unlike other breakfast places the food doesn’t only look amazing but it also tastes amazing.

Glendale Galleria? So 90s. Caruso’s Americana? Fountain water show, Sprinkles, so what who cares? Time to venture ‘off the strip’ as they say. Park in the mall, hoof it onto the street, and you’ll find this gem across from the Americana, where Brand meets Colorado — Foxy’s! Step back in time, to 2015 or 1915, and groove on this awesome diner/​breakfast/​brunch/​dinner spot where Unilocalers get 10% off their entire bill.
Patio seating is preferred by some, but being from Philadelphia I don’t like to eat outside. You’ll find me and my posse in a leathery booth or four-​top, eyeballing the Bunn-​O-​Matic coffee makers on a Sunday morn. There’s a fireplace! Town meets gown for brunch at this insider’s best kept secret.
The egg dishes are awesome but OMG you’ve got to try the Cinnamon Roll French Toast if you dare as it encompasses about 20 cheat meals in one. Translation, it’s awesome! Sometimes I’ll be at my desk at work, out of nowhere, daydreaming about that dish. After all, we don’t eat like that every day.
Service is always super at this place. Portions are large, and your meal for two will be under $ 20. Then it’s back to reality: the Americana, Barneys, and the $ 240 Comme Des Garcons t-​shirt.

Found this place on Unilocal since we were looking for somewhere sit-​down to eat with a variety of food. It was a nice day out so we opted to eat outside under the patio. Most of the staff weren’t all the friendly, but our waitress was a little better than the rest. To begin they brought out bread. They brought out one plate that had four pieces for a party of eight. We had to ask for more bread. They have no kids menu and it doesn’t really seem like a place you should bring kids. They gave my five and seven year old tall skinny glass glasses instead of the to-​go cup they gave the one year old at the table. The food was alright, but bland. No real flavor. Once we got out food, we didn’t see our waitress for quite some time. We all needed refills. The prices weren’t bad especially for the location. But, we probably won’t eat here again.

I went back a second time it was delicious. I grew up in Glendale and never went to this place but thanks to Unilocal I’m hooked. This time we ordered the French Toast and cinnamon roll french toast which was extra sweet with the frosting on the bottom. The only knock it wasn’t clear if we take the bill up front or pay at the table. We will come back.

I was so excited to finally try out Foxy’s. The pictures in Unilocal look so good and there seems to be a variety of options. Me and my husband found it to be just okay.
There was about a 10 minute wait when we arrived and lots of people were waiting in the parking lot. As we were seated the man asked what we wanted to drink. I thought this was a good sign and that we would actually get those drinks. Not really. When our waitress arrived she asked if anyone took our drink order and we said yes and reiterated what the drinks were. We ordered and waited. My husband got his OJ probably 10 minutes later so it was probably 14 minutes after the man took our order. My coffee never arrived and the waitress was busy. Finally she comes by and I flagged her down to bring it over.
When I go to a restaurant to eat breakfast, coffee is a major part of the meal for me. I typically have several cups and love washing down anything sweet with a tasty cup. I will say that the coffee was pretty darned good but getting the first cup and then my subsequent refill was like pulling teeth. After that the pace picked up, but the restaurant also was less busy.
My French Toast wasn’t all that great. They don’t use cinnamon, vanilla or pretty much anything in their batter. There was really no flavor at all. The syrup was pre-​packaged Smuckers packets and that isn’t super tasty either. My husbands fresh biscuit was so much tastier and hot and perfect. I could have just eaten that, but I had no clue. The sausages were large and the eggs were scrambled free from wetness, the way I like them.
I loved that they had a Unilocal discount of 10% and that the restaurant attracted a diverse crowd. I might come back and try a salad or something.

Damn, this place is bomb. Don’t go expecting lobster chawan-​mushi topped or duck confit eggs benedict. Foxy’s don’t play that, son. Foxy’s does OG breakfast/​brunch dishes and does them well. There’s a very good variety of traditional favorites as well as some Mexican-​inspired dishes. Not to mention, the service is totally on point. And, if you fancy some lunch or dinner items, they got that, too. Basically, it’s a phat diner.
Only drawback is the wait, which can be killer on weekends. Plan for that. They also have a super tiny parking lot, which is a tad annoying, but not a deal breaker.

Can’t believe I’ve lived around this restaurant for 15 years and have never tried this place. Well better late than never I guess because this place is amazing. The quality of their food is amazing, the customer service is outstanding and it’s located at the heart of Glendale. The parking is limited. I got orange juice, pancake (so cute), and yogurt with fruit. YUMMMY! Definitely will be going there again.

Food was generous and well prepared. Hard bread with Sesame seeds served early. Coffee refills quickly by a dedicated staff member on busy Sunday morning. Seating took about 10 minutes. Patio is beautiful with fire pylons for heat. Beautiful wood and plaster, brown and tan.
A little pricey, but very beautiful.

I am really digging Foxy’s.
It’s definitely a welcomed treat whenever we’re in the area.
Note: wait times can be around 20 – 30 mins on a busy weekend, especially for brunch. Parking is available in their own lot, but also in the motel lot next door.
There’s a wide variety of good eats for everyone. In the times I’ve been here, I’ve had a bacon, avocado, tomato omelette; eggs benedict with Canadian bacon; breakfast croissant; chilaquiles; & the french toast special. Yup, I’ve been here quite a few times. Don’t judge me. Having tried a bit of everything off their breakfast menu, I can pretty much attest that their breakfast is damn good.
Do yourself a favor & go.

I picked the wrong breakfast here. I know it’s my fault, I know. I wanted a traditional American breakfast, but it was the wrong place to do it at. I’ve tried some other options, and they weren’t bad. Stick to the Mexican side of the menu and you’ll be better off.
However, with that being said, if you are going to have pancakes and waffles on your menu, you got to get some house syrup, at least something out of a bottle, not little packs of smackers. The breakfast isn’t cheap, so you feel as if you are getting the short end of the stick here.
Place is packed on the weekend! I can’t see myself choosing to go back here, but wouldn’t be opposed to giving them another chance.

We were looking for a place to have a large Sunday gathering for 10, that had to meet certain requirements: nearby, dress up, tasty, reasonably priced. It was down to this Brunch spot and Granville — both over 1000 reviews on Unilocal!
So we initially tried to call Granville — no dice, they were at capacity for reservations during prime brunch hours… –_​–
Even though Foxy’s doesn’t take reservations either, we tried our luck here anyway. And guess what? Looks like we have found our new Sunday hangout spot!
This is a hoodie and track pants kinda place (though we saw some dressed up patrons — us), which is actually fine. It has an Alpine ski lodge type of atmosphere. Huge crowd which means we picked the right place.
The food was spot on for a brunch place. Multiple options from traditional American (French toast and sausage), to Mexican (chilaquiles), to Argentinian (barbacoa), to fusion (eggs Benedict with salsa instead of Hollandaise, which was actually a good combo), and «Cuban» (pan fried cod — not Cuban — with black beans which was slow cooked with pork). Service was a touch slow but they made up for it by allowing us to linger and chat after we closed our check.
Definitely a solid place to have your Sunday fun day gatherings!
Final pro tip: avoid the traffic on Colorado blvd (mall traffic). Get on to W Elk Ave (see your maps application) — they have a 17-​spot parking annex right behind the resto with stairs up to Foxy’s. Booya!

Long time regular at Foxy’s. I just keep coming back. It’s got a unique vibe with things like a giant fireplace with a wood cabin feel. The extensive menu has classic american food but also a wide selection of Mexican food.
Foxy’s is ideal for breakfast or lunch. Be sure to get there before 10 am if you go on a Sunday because it can get slammed.

Décor is beautiful here.
Parking here is a little tricky, there’s a front parking lot and a backlot that you can get to if you drive to the street behind the place.
It gets crowded so either call ahead or be prepared to wait.
I ordered a chicken fajita and although spices were good the chicken was a little dry.
There’s a massive selection of food options even cocktails so you have your pick of what you’d like.
They bring bread while you wait for food so that’s a positive. Also mention you’re a Unilocaler and you get a good discount!

Arrived on Sunday around 11am to see crowds of people waiting near the parking lot. Right when I walked up to put our names on the list, we were told, «Party of two? Right over there! No pain!» In other words, lots of large groups come here so parties of one or two are good for the small tables and bars!
We were immediately greeted by our servers who provided us with our beverages, bread and took our order. Excellent customer service even though they were very busy. My coffee and water was consistently refilled. We ordered the Leaning Tower of Mexico and the French Toast Special. The leaning tower was lacking in flavor, I think it would have been better with more salsa. The French toast was preferred.

Came here for breakfast one day. Great place with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. They have toasters on the table for self toasting. I had the steak chilaqueles with potatoes. Super yummy and served piping hot. Talk about stick to your ribs food. Great flavors and textures.

Foxy’s: a unique breakfast joint, with a home– like feel to it. The food is A-​okay! The interior is amazing!
The fireplaces and indoor booth seating give off a relaxing vibe. Majority booth seating in this joint is decorated with huge piles of coffee creamers, to accompany the abundance amount of coffee that will keep on coming.
The stack of jam screams: «pick me… pick me,» waiting to be paired with the complimentary bread.
Bring your fav bestie/​girlfriend to relax with. A place to bring the whole fam bam and enjoy unlimited refills on coffee.
Long table seating for bigger groups. Outdoor seating as well.
The parking is private! Americana on Brand is across the street.
Don’t order the salmon wrap… whole lot of fishy-​ness to it.
Fruit/​eggs/​toast/​French toast on the other hand is a *yay*

Came here for the fiancée’s father’s b-​day. This is a diner with a unique sense of fashion. Most tables will actually have a toaster. Yup, a toaster so you can toast your own toast. Interesting.
The food here is pretty average, but priced accordingly. You’re not going to be paying an arm and leg to eat here, but don’t expect high dollar quality food either. Still, it’s good and you will mostly be satisfied. The service really shines here though and that alone will make you want to come again. I don’t often deal with service of this top notch quality in a diner, but this place did everything right and then some. If you have a birthday, hope they sing to you as the main guy did such an amazing job singing.
It’s a nice little spot in L.A. and again I do suggest seeking it out. Don’t expect to have the best meal of your life, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy the experience.

Pretty solid choice for breakfast. Not super generic like Denny’s or IHOP. They have an extensive breakfast menu as well as lunch and dinner.
For breakfast, they offer a handful of mexican breakfast items and American breakfast items. Some notable mexican items To order: carne asada Chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, leaning tower of Mexico, huevos a la Mexicana, chile relleno omelette, and quesadilla omelette.
Can’t forget the classics like pancakes, French toast, and a handful of omeletts.
Notable mention goes to their huge and fluffy biscuits. They come with your order :)

They have outdoor and indoor seating. Staff is very friendly. Parking lot is small, but thy have an additional parking lot on the street behind the restaurant :)

Cute, homey place for brunch! The service is pretty good. And they play a whole variety of music (e.g. pop, classical, mariachi, etc).
They have toasters on each table so you can toast your own rolls/​bread.
Cinnamon French Toast — Tasty but on the thicker side. If you like thick slices of cinnamon bread done french toast-​style, then you should order this.
French Toast — Classic, simple, tasty french toast. The portions are huge! I usually get mine with scrambled eggs and sausage. I think they give you 4 slices of toast and 4 pieces of sausage.
Bacon Guacamole Omelette — Tasty! Very filling and rich. Nice crispy pieces of bacon and yummy guacamole! The hash browns were great too.
Coffee — ok, not the best, but will do! FYI, they have the vanilla-​flavored creamers here.
Parking: Lots of spaces in the plaza but can be a challenge during busy hours

3 ½ stars for me but I have no problem upgrading this distinctive diner, with a décor and menu somewhat off the beaten path. The place looks like an alpine ski lodge… with a ton of chandeliers. It verges on the point of tacky but somehow it is interesting enough to work. The menu has typical diner breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, but there are a bunch of Southwestern items too. There is even a page of breakfast items that are specialty Southwestern style.
We were there at 10:30am on a Friday morning so I was not expecting it to be too busy, but it was packed. There is indoor and outdoor seating and we were lucky to be able to snag one of the last tables for six inside. The hostess and servers were very friendly but I would not come here if you were looking for a quick bite, as it took a little while for our meals to come out.
I ordered the Baja Omelet (sans cheese): an omelet with salmon, shrimp, mushrooms, tomato, and sliced avocado on top. Funny, when I got the omelet, I forgot it had salmon so I thought the cubed protein was chicken. So I am not sure what that says about the taste and quality of the salmon… Otherwise the omelet was good. It came with toast and I was able to get fruit instead of home fries. I was a little disappointed that you could not get oatmeal on the side instead of the home fries but I did order some at an extra cost. It was a large portion, served with cinnamon sugar and raisins on the side.
All of my men were sucked in by the temptation of «Crab Cakes». Husband loved his Crab Cake Omelet. 10 year old liked his Crab Cake Benedict. 12 year old went with plain old Crab Cake and Scrambled Eggs. He thought the eggs were okay but he did not like the Crab Cake. I tasted the Crab Cake and I had to agree. To me it was more like a surimi cake or mush cake. I did not detect any real crab meat in there. Our friend enjoyed his Chilli Rellenos Burrito.
Overall, Foxy’s has decent food in a pleasant atmosphere. I do have to mention though that the parking lot was pretty small for this place. Even at the off hour we went, we found the last spot in the lot and it was a pretty tight squeeze. I am not sure what customers do when they are very busy.
