This location was conveniently located right off the highway and by Trader Joe’s so that is why we stopped here. The food was of excellent quality and I cannot believe the giant bag of delicious fries you get. The lack of a star is due to the long time we had to wait for our food. I would stop in again just for those fries. They also have really clean bathrooms.

This fast food chain puts a lot of effort on delivering a better-than-usual fast food experience. They are doing a pretty good job at it, but guess who pays the price… All in all it’s a good lunch option around Bayshore mall, and I’ve visited it a couple of times while shopping. But as a North Shore burger joint, it’s not on my top 5 list. There are much better local options like Solly’s, Kopp’s, Dr. Dawg, etc.

2010 I’m all for a good burger, but it seems Five Guys hasn’t kept up with their competition. This location is plastered with signs saying they’re best-of several years back. Don’t get me wrong, their burgers and fries are great but the menu could get updated with some now options like a «healthier» chicken-wich or turkey patty. My most recent visit was less than stellar. The soda dispenser seemed a little off — it wasn’t the usual Diet Coke I fill up on, perhaps due to the 2000 flavor choices. Staff was blaring heavy metal music, not the kinda stuff that’s going to draw in North shore mom’s with their kids. Lastly, they were missing containers for peanuts — I felt like a thief taking a handful while waiting for my order.

Slop city. Kids got hungry at Bayshore so we thought, can’t go wrong with burgers and fries, right? Wrong — if you go here. The price of 3 burgers, 3 small fries and 1 small soda exceeded what you would pay for 3 full meals at a 4-star restaurant. It took them 30 minutes to produce what is essentially a fast food order When it arrived — McDonalds rush hour dollar menu items look better than what we got here. The burgers were smaller than McDonald’s dollar ones — at $ 7/piece. They looked like they were dropped on the floor, several times, stepped on and then scraped off the bottom of a shoe. They tasted worse. We couldn’t eat any of that — even our dogs were hesitant at the perspective. In addition, when I looked at the receipt, we realized we were charged for 4 meals. I wonder who got the 4th. When we tried to dispute the matter — the clerk no longer spoke English. We will not come back here, even in the event of a zombie apocalypse and massive food shortages.

Milwaukee’s answer to California’s In’n Out Burger! What a treat I had with last night, a little bacon cheeseburger and a small order of fries. Dae Shawn H. aka Q, was personable, professional and charming; plus he made my cheese burger and it was delicious! Customer Service is just as important as the food! Thank you Five Guys Burgers for a great meal and for staying open to 10pm on a Thursday!

You will not get away from 5 guys for under $ 10, this place is not cheap! The burgers are small for their cost, to avoid a $ 12 – 14 bill, I have been ordering the«little cheeseburger.» Yeah they do give you fries in a cup and then recklessly throw dozens more all over the bag they give you. I don’t think they have trays here, everything is «to go.» The price should equal much higher quality. And what’s with all the warnings on the peanuts boxes? I don’t get that. Lower prices would make this place a great value, for now it’s just an overpriced average burger. Would rather go to steak and shake or a restaurant for a good burger.

Excelente la bacon cheeseburguer!!! I love it… I always choose with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, tomatoes and A.1. steak sauce… And ofcourse the fries are the best!

This would be a 2 star review for the food but the two employees working tonight were very happy and genuinely helpful. I would pay them $ 15 an hour. But only these two guys. OK now on to the food… the fries were soggy and salty as hell. On the plus side, they did give me a lot of fries. Too bad I couldn’t eat them all, unless I wanted to risk hypertension. The burger I had was above average for a fast food joint. I say above average for the size. Nothing spectacular for taste though. I ordered a burger with the works, and even biting through all that stuff, it tasted like it needed seasoning. How about lending a little bit of salt from the fries to the burger?

I’ve been to Five Guys twice, first time at this location and I don’t know if I’m lucky or their employees are the best on earth. Twice I was served by very happy employees, whether its forced or not I have no idea, feels genuine. Maybe these mutha fu**as(trailer park boys) take some special sauce or maybe they just really enjoy life. This is all it takes for a customer to feel appreciated and welcomed. The burger might not look amazing but it sure tastes it. Very delicious, not much more you could ask of a burger, fresh and scrumptious. Their cajun fries, I’m not sure how you would go about inproving them. Seasoned and tasty 5⁄5. A great place for a burger and fries.

Dear #FiveGuys I tried your burgers and fries once about five years ago in Orland Park, IL and was greatly underwhelmed. Today I decided to give it another try and was equally underwhelmed. The burger is about on par with a burger I can get at Steak n’ Shake, which I do like their burgers, but your food cost is much higher. I ordered a little cheeseburger, little fries and drink and it was $ 10! And what is with the tasteless and limp fries. I’m glad you use hand cut fries from potatoes from some potato farm out west somewhere, but the final product is just bad. If you care for some further constructive criticism, I am open to more dialogue. But looking at your awards for«best burger» around this particular restaurant and seeing the last award was in 2008 leads me to believe your quality of burger has decreased substantially. Thank you.

I got used to this chain when we lived in Virginia… I love that they sell grilled hot dogs… The service is spotty… The fries are soggy and I drive by it all the time and think… Kopps, Solly’s, Sobelman’s, Wayne’s, Oscars Pub… who has time for a chain burger… Also… the one near my spot closed down after less than a year… We win…

Five Guys Burger and Fries was so good! It is a pretty good equivalent to In-n-Out. It is more expensive than In-n-Out burger but I’m pretty partial to In-n-Out burger. The inside is nice and has a lot of space. It is kind of old timey but it’s nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Never been here before, but I have heard mixed reviews about Five Guys. So here I was meeting friends and studying the simple menu hanging behind the counter. The handout menu proclaims«Rated #1 Burger for Lunch in NYC,» but this is Milwaukee. As you know, I love great burgers and have my favorites. Let me warn you first timers that Five Guys is a learning process. You come, you order, you wait at your table until called and then you enjoy. First impression is the New York prices. Second impression is the«plain Jane» or «high school like cafeteria but with«windows» dining area. Two negatives to start. Happily, the good news is the hamburgers, $ 3.99 for a Little and $ 5.79 for a double. I asked if the double was a half pound and was simply told«100% beef.» Cheeseburgers are 70 cents more. The«hook» to win you over is that ALL toppings are included FREE and there are 15 choices. I had a double with grilled onions and mushrooms. Be warned, all burgers are cooked well unless you tell them otherwise. There is just one beverage machine to get your drink and unlimited refills and twice there was a line. Small cup is $ 2.29 and large $ 2.59 with your choice from a large variety of Coke products. Need another machine, where is their thinking? Now here is the surprise. Fries are served in drinking cups with your choice of traditional French or Cajun style. A small cup easily serves two people at $ 2.29, but you can also order a medium at $ 3.39 or a large at $ 4.69. Here is the«kicker» we were amazed by. When we picked up our order and took everything out, there were 16 additional French Fries on the bottom of the bag. At first I couldn’t figure it out. Our shared small cup was filled to the top. Five Brothers dumps the extra fries as a bonus. Stay with a small, you will have a hard time finishing it or the«free» extras. The fries was best part of the meal and that was not what I had come for. When all was said and done, my damage was $ 10.95 with tax and this is a Fast-Food experience, the most expensive in recent memory. Sorry, Five Guys I’d rather still go to my three favorites, Arriba, Rbg, or Biggs and for less money enjoying a better burger and dining experience.

Probably one of the best burger chains around to be honest. Their«Little Cheeseburgers» are still gigantic and I don’t even want to fathom how people eat the«regular» sized ones. It’s awesome that you have a huge choice of toppings for your burgers that are almost all no charge. You never need more than one order of fries. Let me repeat that. ONEORDEROFFRIESISENOUGHFORTWOPEOPLE. They give you a cup of fries, and then proceed to dump another scoopful of fries in the bag on top of that. Probably my favorite thing though is that they number your burgers in the order that you order them in. So no more accidentally unwrapping a friend’s burger or biting into one that isn’t yours and getting a mouthful of something you don’t like. The awesomeness of Five Guys is in the little things. :)

The first time I was here, they were very busy, and not knowing what to order when my time came at the ‘window’… I just blurted out my standby burger everywhere I order one… «I’ll have a bacon double-cheeseburger with the works and a large fry»… um … ooooops… I’m sure that if I didn’t sound so sure of myself, they would’ve warned me that what I ordered would’ve fed a small continent. for those new to Five Guys: burgers are made with 2 patties, «little burgers» are 1patty. My first order came with 4 patties, 3 or 4 pcs of bacon, tomato, lettuce, pickles, mayo, mustard, onion, cheese, and maybe slightly more than a pound of fries. I couldn’t squish it enough to fit it in my mouth, and ended up throwing it in a bowl and eating it like a salad. I’ve been back many times now, and have downsized to Little burgers and small fries.(the cajun are awesome). … consistently nummy. I have the android app… allows me to just press a button and order my standard order, and pick it up on my way home. …just like they did years ago on the Jetsons.

These fries are making me T H I R S T Y! I had a craving for a burger, my order was taken. I was very happy with my burger it took 6 minutes to get it into my paws. $ 3.79 And the order was correct. Regular fries are huge $ 2.89 reg drink $ 2.09 + tax= 9.31 much more than filling than I expected. Music was Up as usual on the edge of too loud. The tables and chairs clean. Staff was pleasant always doing something. My only complaint was Holy salt lick am I eating french fried salt with potato Powder? Are you trying to kill me? Hypertension is in my family history! This is part my fault I rarely eat fries and salt. Next time hold the salt. My heart kindly thanks you.

This place is clearly not a secret anymore. I used to always be on the search for a reliable burger and fries spot and Five Guys is it. Their fries are fresh and have great taste. The fries are important to me — they complement the burger. Their burgers are extremely succulent. If you’re looking for a meal to fill you up and high on taste then look no further. I don’t advise eating here every week but that’s what makes it special. Don’t go here for a few weeks then drop in and I bet it will taste like heaven. Just had my bottom wisdom teeth taken out and I’m yearning to go here now… oh boy.
