I contacted the office via email to set up my first appointment and the Office Manager «Lupe» repeatedly misspelled my name (within the email containing the correct spelling of my name), even after correcting her. A correct name maybe small to some but personally I think if you can’t get my name correct via email after I’ve spelled it for you multiple times, I have ZERO faith that you can get my dental work correct.

Dr Kurimoto and his staff are the absolute best! After years of scary and painful dental experience, I found someone who is gentle and sensitive. Not only is he caring, he is honest. My last dentist tried to milk every dollar she could out of me which is why I left. I am so glad to have found this dental office because going to the dentist is now such a pleasant experience. My entire family now sees him and even though we are moving twenty minutes away, we will stay with him!

Dr. Christopher Kurimoto is the BEST dentist. We have been patients for over six years. My husband, myself and my sister have never been disappointed with their professional services.
We live over 100 from Glendale but happily make the trip from San Jacinto twice a year for our cleanings. If we ever have an emergency we call and they ALWAYS try to accommodate our needs.
The office staff, especially Lupe are very nice.

Chris is a great dentist and a master of his art. The work he did on my teeth a few years back still gets me compliments from the local dentist I have seen in Ohio. I can’t wait to get back to Glendale to have him as my dentist again.

first off, i WAS terrified of the dentist. i grew up with the worst dentist ever and absolutely dreaded going.
…so i didn’t go for almost THREE years. yes, you read that correctly. i figured it was time to grow some cajones and find a new dentist for a much needed cleaning. enter dr. kurimoto.
there was no judgement whatsoever, which really eased my nerves. they cleaned my teeth, did some x rays, told me how to take care of my teeth for the future, and fixed a cracked crown. dr. kurimoto is wonderful to chat with and his staff is even better! i felt right at home.
i’m finally leaving a review because i’ve been in so many times to fix all of my previous dentist’s work. i’m talking probably 8 visits in the past 2 months! i’m SO thankful for this team, they’ve helped me out in more ways than i could ever imagine.
dr. kurimoto truly cares (i even had to call him at 11PM for a dental emergency and not only did he respond, but he scheduled me for the first thing the next morning!) and does outstanding work. lupe (the office manager) is always cheerful, light-​hearted, and really does look out for you. i can’t rave about them enough.

I’ve always been absolutely and irrevocably terrified by the evil dentist, however Dr. Kurimoto helps ease the tension with his friendly demeanor and deft hand. He is the type of person that wants to make you comfortable so feel free to be open about what bothers you or scares you.
Last BUT NOT LEAST, I want to exclaim from the heavens how bloody brilliant Mizu is at cleaning teeth! Not only that but she is so incredibly nice.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kurimoto for over ten years now, and he’s been an absolute blessing. He is attentive to his patients’s needs, has a gentle touch (especially with with the scary needles part — you seriously can’t even feel the injections!) and is just amazingly skilled at his craft. Lupe, Annik, Ingrid and the rest of their friendly team make each office visit a genuine pleasure. I’ve recommended my entire family to Dr. Kris, as well as many friends, and will continue to do so in the years to come.

Dr. Kurimoto is an excellent dentist. I would highly recommend his practice to anyone looking — my teeth have never looked or felt better since I started seeing him. I have had several emergencies and he always makes time to see me and take care of whatever it is. Lupe and the rest of the team there are all so nice great at their jobs; I always feel comfortable and in the best hands. My husband and I are both so happy to have found him!

Dr. Kurimoto is an excellent dentist and very kind and gentle. Since moving here from Hawaii, I have tried several dentist but every dentist always tries to recommend extra work and up sell me, and also suggesting night guards, etc. Dr. Kurimoto did also suggest a night guard for my teeth (I grind my teeth) but was very honest saying that it is my responsibility to use it and if I’m not then don’t waste my money. All the other dentist before said I needed it but was very pushy about it and each visit I seemed to have surprise extra charges other than my regular cleaning and check ups. Since changing to Dr. Kurimoto, I never have gotten any surprise charges. :-) I chipped my tooth once eating nuts, and he fixed it for me for free!

Been seeing Dr Kurimoto on off 7 – 8 years.
I had horror stories of dentists claiming I had multiple cavities and my crown was falling out. He’s honest and will tell you what you need-​not oversell anything to make more $.
I trust Dr Kurimoto with my major work. I had an explosion in my mouth from a deep cavity close to the nerve and I went in for emergency work, a root canal, and crown. He worked with me and was very fair.
Recently moved out of state and came back, had a cleaning in Orange County. They claimed I needed Invisalign because it would affect my jawline longterm. I drove up to see him recently, his opinion was I didn’t need it and again they’re trying to oversell.
He even made me a mouthguard for sports for free and gave me impressions of my mouth to take with me wherever I end up.

I have been going to Dr. Kurimoto for around 2 years now. I am always hesitant about dentists due to previous experiences of being ripped off.
With Dr. Kurimoto, I have never been asked to do any unnecessary procedures. He has always been up-​front and honest. His staff is also professional and nice.
When my insurance changed (due to a change of work), I made sure I selected a plan that uses Dr. Kurimoto.
Really a great dentist and all around great guy!

Hands down the best dentist and enviornment I have been around… I am the type of guy who does not like the dentist and I must say I do now — I am very happy I found this dentist’s office. Dr Kurimoto makes everything better and makes you feel comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend!

I love this dentist! I’ve been coming to him for years and he always has my best interest in mind. I have had multiple dental emergencies and he immediately squeezed me in. They truly treat their patients like family. Dr. Kurimoto has a patient for life!

I had a severely painful tooth ache for two days and needless to say, it got worse and worse. I couldn’t sleep so I got up early in the morning and found Dr. Kurimoto. I went in to his office as early as possible and he helped me the moment they opened their door. He was great. The pain was relieved right away which was a huge blessing and after he finished the dental work, he gave me a really good price. All in all, I would say:

I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Kurimoto. His office is immaculate, he has all of the latest technology, his assistants are exceptional, and best of all, he’s a caring and thorough dentist. I’ve been to other dentists in the LA area who seem to only be concerned with padding their wallets. Dr. Kurimoto isn’t like that. He’s genuinely concerned with the dental health of his patients. He will be the only dentist I’ll see as long as I live within driving distance of his office. Very highly recommended.

Dr. Kurimoto is an AWESOME dentist. I went to him like 3 years ago and then had a horrible experience at Plaza Dental (only went to them for the location and convenience). First, I emailed him with my concerns about this other so called dentist and their recommendations that would cost me $ 1000’s, and he responded and gave me great information and advice. With his help, I was able to get some of my money back.
He is not only helpful, but super friendly. My experience from Plaza Dental and his office was WAY different. His staff was super nice and friendly. My temporary crown from the other office was sloppy and done way too quickly — didn’t feel right either. The temporary crown that his staff made was carefully mixed, and molded to fit my tooth. It felt so much better and my entire experience was way better!
After having a bad experience, you really appreciate dentist like Dr. Kurimoto who are honest, care about their patients and their teeth and take pride in their work. If you are looking for a great dentist, book an appointment! I highly recommend Dr. Kurimoto!
