Great service by Pierce! He had my iphone5 ready to go within a few hours and so far so good! They were very easy to communicate with and always very responsive! I will for sure come back whenever i need a repair!

Have taken my phone here several times to get repaired and unlocked over the years. The service has always been fast, and it saved me a lot of hassle and money. If you’re in the tri-​city area of Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, this is a great place to go.

Precaution: this business now runs under the name of «cellphone repair shop» at the same address.
Dropped off my brothers Galaxy 3 phone w/​broken screen. They fixed it with available used screen, as agreed, for USD100+tax.
So far so good. Screen worked great. BUT the SIM card was missing. They could not find it, and blamed us instead. Bad!
Be careful if doing business there, and definitely remove your SIM card before leaving!

I called them on Dec 29 to see if they had a replacement digitizer & LCD for my samsung galaxy. They said they had new ones for $ 90. I drove there next day and they told me they only had refurbished ones for $ 85. I felt it was a bait a switch but I needed to get my phone back online.
Last night a little line appeared at the top of the screen and the screen is now completely blue. I called asking to just do a swap and they said I can bring in the phone for $ 25 diagnostics check and if it’s not their fault (wanna bet it isnt’?), they’ll offer a 10% discount for a replacement digitizer/​LCD.
I told them that I feel that i got ripped off by the bait & switch for a refurbished part that wasn’t refurbished properly and I just want another part; even willing to try another refurbished one but nope.
There’s about 1000 other places I can get my phone repaired. Zero interest in getting ripped off again.

To start off, this is the WORST place to take your broken iPhone, iPad, ipod, etc. I took my broken iPad to get it fixed and ended up with horrible service.

Just picked up a dead phone. Dropped off on my lunch Friday around noon. Expected to pick up same day as the tech said he should give me a call at 4~4:30.
This was after I asked if I could get it done same day as I have every time I get my screens replaced. 4 o’clock and no call, no message, nothing. Mind you this is my business cell which I don’t miss calls on. Walked in at six to be greeted but a guy saying that everyone was gone and there was nothing he could do since everything but the front door was locked. I even offered to buy a phone since mine was being held hostage. No luck there either.
Ended up going to best buy to purchase a new phone full retail price since I was out of town for the weekend. Now I have to spend my time returning it and charging my dead phone. Which currently is not charging at all.
Had to walk in myself as there were no follow up calls of any kind. Turns out it was done and a claim was made that a call was put out. Again, no missed calls. No messages.
Paid full price of $ 80 for new black screens with the same red home button I had since they don’t carry matching buttons anymore. I usually get far better service for $ 60. I’ve had a guy fix my my phone out of his garage with far superior service and obviously cheaper.
Honestly the worst experience without going into my experience of getting lost in an unfamiliar area BECAUSE I HAD NO GPS TO HELP ME NAVIGATE. Needless to say I will not be a repeat customer.

MIXED FEELINGS DUE TO POOR COMMUNICATION
Ok, I want to say that these guys did 2 jobs for me. 1. Fixed my Samsung Galaxy phone screen and 2. Tried to fix the charge port. The screen was fixed perfectly and I have had no issues with it.
However, I dropped my phone off to repair the charging port and when I returned to the store to pick it up, I was told they would not guarantee the work. Reason being: they didn’t believe it would last long. This cost me $ 45. I spoke with the manager (who was a really nice guy and who did take $ 20 off the original charge of $ 65).
Still, why would a repair shop perform work that they knew wouldn’t hold. I asked why I wasn’t emailed before the repair so that I could decide if I wanted to have the temporary repair done and no reason was given.
They simply didn’t think of it. All I am writing is, if you’re going to perform work, but you don’t think it will last, then contact the customer.
So, I paid the $ 45 and 10 days later, the charge port stopped working. VERY FRUSTRATING in my line of work.
I ordered replacement batteries and a wall charger online for $ 20 which took 10 days to ship to me. Imagine trying to manage your work and life for 10 days without a cell phone.
In the end, I spent a total of $ 65 to get the phone working again. I contacted the store and told them that the phone stopped working 10 days after the repairs and EVEN THOUGH THE MANAGER said he’d refund my money if it broke in a week, he wouldn’t refund it b/​c it was past 10 days.
Lame. $ 45 and time WASTED and bad customer service

I had the LCD replaced and screen on my Samsung Galaxy S4 for $ 250, which was a fair price that I found at several places. But after just a few weeks, I simply pulled my phone out of my jeans pocket and the LCD broke from the inside. I couldn’t figure out how that could happen, especially when the screen was still in perfect shape. I called CellularDR again to see if they would look at it, but they said it would cost me money. My phone was pass coded, so I was locked out of it for good. The only way I could get in without fixing it and forking over another $ 250 was to switch out the motherboard with a friend who also had an S4. I finally got a chance to do that with a friend visiting from out of town, and lo and behold CellularDR had left out a screw when they fixed it in the exact spot the LCD is broken. I wasted $ 250 on the repair, $ 200 on the phone in the first place, and since I was only a few months into contract with AT&T I have had to use an old iPhone 4 that barely works for months.

Been here many times and always loved the service, recently after breaking the screen on my HTC DNA I called in to get a quote which I wrote down. today I called back because I lost that paper and wanted to get it fixed today. The man I spoke with today said they could repair it but would not give me pricing (not even for the part) and kept telling me to look at their website. I told him. that I had recieved pricing a couple weeks ago and he kept asking me questions trying to chase me to their website and at some points it even felt like he was trying to make me feel stupid.
I live down the street from them in Glendale and pass by on my way to work every morning and I do not know about them through their website and have always had their number in my phone since the first time I’ve been there. Bottom line worst customer service ever. I understand if he explains to me that I can find pricing on the website but the fact that he would not for anything in the world help me over the phone is very rude.
Edit: wow after I got off the phone I went to the site and the part wasn’t even there. So sad, I liked coming here

It is nothing but a rip off!!! the money the kind of money you will be charged is NOT acceptable. I ran away as I noticed they are charging 3 times than what it had to be.
I did my study before getting there so had a clue of what should be the price for a piece which cost $ 74 they charge you over $ 200.
Just not fair … I’m wondering what kind of money they are making.

What are the odds I got scammed today? About ⁵⁰⁄₅₀. Why do I feel this way? Let’s start with the voicemail, where apparently they forget they’re talking to a customer:
. So from that I assume it means that my cellphone is ready. I head down there (they replaced the USB charging port), and a nice person greets me and begins the transaction, but then I get handed off to Frank. Keep in mind what I write is about 5 minutes worth of exchange.
Frank is the type of person we in IT have nightmares about. He knows everything more than you do, and is insulted that you even ask him a question. I had kept my SIM card and had a screen lock pattern, and he said everything up to that point had been tested. Odd, because when I tried to turn on the phone, it showed the startup animation and then turned off. Frank is clearly annoyed that I want to make sure my phone works before paying them $ 80. He mentions several times that they tested it.
«Well, you couldn’t have tested it completely, because the screen lock, correct?»
«We tested up to the screen lock, which you didn’t give us.»
«Right, but right now I’m not even getting to the screen lock, and to replace the charger you have to disconnect microphone, right?»
«No.»
That’s patently false (or at least it’s false that you disconnect nothing:
Well, since the boot failed, I assume the battery is dead, so I plug it in to the chargers they have out front. This time the phone boots to screen unlock, but isn’t steadily connecting to the cell network (it connects for a second, then disconnects). As I’m waiting, he says, «That will be $ 80.»
«OK,» I reply, but make no action to try and pay him yet. «I want to make sure that it works.» I try to open the camera app, the screen flashes bright and then turns off. «Hmm,» I say. I try holding down the power button again, and nothing happens.
I unplug it and plug it back in, and it shows the power-​off battery indicator as full. I show him that it’s charged, and he says «Well then unplug it.» :eyeroll:
So I unplug it and hold the power button.
«Don’t boot it while holding the volume buttons.»
«I’m not holding the volume buttons.» (If I were holding the volume down while hitting power, I’d boot into a different menu)
«I’ve been working with cellphones forever» (maybe he said 15 years, or ‘since they first came out’)
«And I know what buttons my fingers are pushing.»
He thinks maybe it’s a bad battery. He takes the battery and goes in the back, comes out saying it has 0 charge. He also brings out a test battery, which also had no charge. We plug in my phone (I think with my battery) and it does the initial «power connected» screen and he says, «See, that shows up every time you plug it in.»
«Yes, and that’s not the screen I showed you.»
«I didn’t see any other screen»
«Yes you did, that’s when you told me not to have it plugged in if the battery is charged.»
He again asks for $ 80, I say I’m not paying until I know my phone works. He says I can come back tomorrow, I say I’m not driving out again tomorrow. He’s like, «Fine, come back in an hour while the battery charges.» (it takes 5 minutes to charge to where you can boot off power) I say «I’ll see you in 30 minutes.» I come back, this time Hooman comes out. He seems a decent fellow and explains that he thinks the problem is with the battery, because when it’s in his phone, it also causes problems. I point out that there’s a dent in the battery that I’ve never seen before, but he doesn’t think that’s the problem. (He sortof missed my point, which is that I’ve never seen that battery before in my life.)
I pay because I want my phone, and my phone is working on my other battery. But I’m like 90% convinced someone swapped a non-​working battery for my battery, because I’ve never seen this before. When I used to run an IT repair shop, we inventoried *everything* when it came in, including the charger S/​N and laptop S/​N and battery S/​N (and any other parts if it was, say, a desktop). Unfortunately, I gave them my battery when I dropped it off, and they didn’t record the serial number of anything other than the cell phone. I shouldn’t have given them the battery (I didn’t give them my SIM card, thankfully) and they really should have better inventory practices.
And send Frank to some human-​to-​human interaction training.

I dropped my phone and the screen went black. Yes, I did find out that I had a tiny crack in my screen. Cellular DR was able to fix it in just a couple hours! Great customer service. They are very knowledgeable. Five Stars!!!

I broke the LCD & digitizer glass on my HTC One X. Did research online for the best deal and it was here. It was already pre-​assembled and I was able to install it in 15 minutes. The staff was really nice and I was in and out in no time. Highly recommended!

I broke the SIM card slot on my Galaxy Note II. Called multiple repair shops and was told that the job wasn’t one they wanted to do. Brought it to these guys; they fixed it for about $ 50 bucks parts/​labor. Turnaround time was less than 24 hours. Great service, great techs, I am very impressed. Thanks!

Brought in a Sprint Epic 4g touch with a flaky charging port. They replaced it for $ 60.00. It now charges fine but would not sync data. They did not return calls, when I finally spoke to someone, they said they would call back. Never did. They do not stand behind their work. Avoid.

I cracked the screen on my Samsung Galaxy S3… no insurance… Sprint told me I would need to buy a new phone, but that wasn’t an option I liked very much. I called 7 places to try to get the phone repaired. The cheapest was $ 249 (but they wouldn’t have the part in stock for 2 days) and the most expensive was $ 310. CellularDR was $ 255 + $ 15 extra if I wanted it the same day, and they had the replacement screen in stock.
I picked up my phone after 2 hours, and it works great.

You’ll end up walking in out paying $ 115 + tax for something you can get fixed for $ 35 anywhere else. I am not plugging any business here but there are 100’s of Chinese businesses that do just that for ¹⁄₃ of the price. Good luck with this place but I’m out!

Fixed My Droid Razr Maxx and Saved Me $ 100s!!!
Shipped phone from Maryland and got it back from their repair center in California in about 2.5 weeks total time (over a week of that was shipping).
I consider that pretty awesome since Motorola wouldn’t honor any warranty for moisture damage (corrosion to battery terminals) that was likely caused by sweaty hands or «excessive humidity».
Would use them again, they provide a great and needed service for those us hanged out to dry by $#*@@! cellphone manufacturer warranties.

Brought in my Droid X because my car charger stopped charging my phone. They said it’d be $ 15 for the part and $ 45 for labor. That was fine with me; after calling 3 other shops, and being rejected because of the nature of my problem, this certified cell phone repair shop was the only one willing to help.
I brought my phone in Thursday and was told it’d be ready within 24 hours. Great. I called in Friday morning to ask when it’d be ready, they said 3pm. Showed up at 3:15, they asked for me to come in at 4:30. That bothered me a bit, meant an extra drive across town during rush hour, but no biggie.
Showed up at 4:45, was told everything seemed fine and the charger unit still worked fine, so I wasn’t charged the $ 15 for the part. Also, because most of their time was spent just doing diagnostic work, they only charged $ 25 for labor!
They apologized profusely for the slight lateness and all is well. My cell is fine and I’m happy.
Great customer service, good overall experience, will return in the future. Recommended cell repair shop.
