Bose At the Galleria

On October 15^th I stopped by the Glendale Galleria location in California. Actually, I had gone to the mall for a different reason, but on the way out I stopped in the Bose store. I wanted to inquire about replacing the relatively thin cable on my Bose On-​ear headphones. I’m an admittedly guarded shopper. I’ve usually done a bit of research before purchasing most items, and don’t need to be «sold». However, I certainly appreciate an employee that does a great job without being «too much».
When I walked in the Glendale location I was greeted by David in a very friendly, eager manner. I explained my reason for the visit as he listened and he understood right away. I made it clear that, at that point, I wasn’t necessarily purchasing anything, I just wanted to see what my options were.
He nodded and disappeared into the back.
A few moments later he came back with the perfect cable. I’m assuming it was just a test cable laying around for use by the employees. It was the exact cable I was looking for, but it wasn’t on the floor for sale. It was a heavier gauge, a little bit shorter and had an «L» connector instead of the straight one.
Again, I hadn’t come in the store to purchase at that moment, but I asked David what it cost and he replied, «It’s yours». I was literally speechless. Yeah, it was just a cable and not too much of a big deal, but again, I’m a bit of a guarded shopper and he completely disarmed me, but in an organic way.
He saw the headphones I was wearing and knew that I had purchased them from Costco. He said they were a special edition that are exclusively for big box stores. I asked him if he was sure I could just have the cable and he replied that, «We take care of our people».
We then spent the next few minutes talking about my recent trip to Lithuania and I left just shaking my head and thinking «That’s how you do it!» I don’t mean that from the «free cable» aspect. I mean it from the standpoint that David, single handedly, put Bose at the front of the line of companies that I consider when purchasing items that I need and Bose offers.
I just wanted to acknowledge a young guy that did a great job!

Crappy product crappy service. David who works in the Bose Store in Glendale Galleria is horrible. He keeps blaming me for his inferior product. The headphone jack keeps bending at the 2^nd or 3^rd seem while it’s plugged into my phone. I first bought a pair of Bose SoundTrue headphones in August 2014 & changed them 4 times through September 2015. I’ve had several pairs of headphones from cheap to expensive & these are by far the worst headphones I have ever had. Bose speakers are good but please save your money & stay away from their headphones. Whatever you do stay away from the Bose store in the Glendale Galleria. I’m going to be contacting Bose headquarters as well. The service in the store is the worst ever.
I purchased Beats, Jaybirds as well as many other headphones & the worst have been these Bose SoundTrue. I just purchased the Yurbuds 300 for $ 30 & they are WAY WAY WAY better than this product from a company who is supposed to be about quality.
Buyer please beware. And whatever you do stay away from David.

My customer service experience at this store was amazing thanks to Kevin. I called in to make sure I could trade in my broken QC15s for new QC15s or QC25s. He not only advised me about the pros and cons of each model, but also gave me the most detailed directions to the store. He took the time to pull up google maps and help me walk to a back door that led straight to the Bose store. He definitely saved me a lot of time and hassle. He was extremely friendly and professional when I arrived at the store. I ended up buying the QC25s and he also sold me on the extended warranty. I’m super happy with my purchase. Love these headphones and the customer service was impeccable at this store. The location was also clean and the store displays looked great.

I left message to call me back 3 times no answer I have left good review but for the money I spend I should get a little curtesy call but nothing is sad that I have to do this I hope manager see this and try to help me out?

It always seems like expensive stuff breaks in threes. My husband has a pair of Bose headphones that he covets more than any other possession he owns. His headphones and a Bose iPod dock broke almost in unison. Well technically a friend who is unaware of gravity broke the Bose dock and speaker system. So needless to say we needed to have them fixed or replaced.
We brought our broken products to the store hoping that they could fix our items without having to do a full replacement. However this was not possible, but I did learn that they offer a substantial discount if you want to trade in your old products for new. Which is exactly what we did. We received approximately $ 170. off a new set of headphones and a new speaker system. Let this be a word to the wise, take all broken items into Bose and use them to purchase a new model.
The exchange could not have been easier or more painless. I had to go to the bathroom so I left to find one and by the time I returned the purchase had been all wrapped up and my Hubs was ready to walk out the door. I was pleasantly surprised that hey had such an easy process and highly recommend this company and all of their products. I must say the quality is outstanding and you truly get what you pay for. Yes Bose products are expensive, but it is totally worth it. The associates were friendly and made it a very pleasurable shopping experience.
I can’t wait to return and purchase the home theater surround sound system I have had my eye on for quite some time. I keep thinking that I should have just bit the preverbal bullet and made the purchase that day, they were having a terrific sale. Hopefully the next time I return they will still have that deal, or if I’m lucky an even better one.

Beautiful store in the Galleria!
Bose continues to thrive on nice display stores. Even while it battles with beats on the headphone dominance.
Pros of this location:
The Bose store is beautiful and spacious. Several different display models and product testing stations. Their even is a secluded cinema speaker testing room in the back.
Bose still remains as a premier option for in home sound systems and what better way to test out the products then visiting this store.
Cons: the staff was busy during my sunday visit to help with my questions as it seemed under staff. In addition some of the testing stations were not operational.
The headphone market is becoming almost a lost completion for Bose compared to Beats but the home audio is still fair game.
Novelty: the store is extremely nice and the layout is better than most stores at the Galleria plus the cinema room is a plus.

Very helpful staff. David helped me to determine whether or not a pair of QC 15’s I wanted to buy were counterfeit or not. (They were genuine) And with no obligation. I appreciate that.

Bose is great company that stands behind their product. I had an old Wave radio they could not fix and took it in trade for a new one for a reasonable fee.
The sound from their little cube speakers are great in their Acostimass system. Properly installed or laid out systems creates awesome music or a Home theatre set up in your home. Check out their theatre demo in the back when you can.
Lilly was a helpful, great and had tremendous product knowledge.

Customer service needed improvement. Went in with my cousin to buy headphones and not even a simple hi or acknowledgement when we entered the store. I noticed that it wasnt just us that they simply ignored. Three other customers came in and the workers could care less. I guess the people are not very grateful to have jobs. Sad because Bose is such a great product but the customer service would make me think about purchasing from another store instead.

Great products and the years of Bose excellence speaks for itself. This store has been at the Glendale Galleria forever and I recently walked in to get a rubber/​silicone cover for my soundlink mini bluetooth speaker that I have. Customer service was friendly. The lady was actually very helpful in that she showed me all the colors and even brought some out from the back that weren’t on display anymore. I appreciated that because I wanted to see all my options before I made a decision on which color to purchase. I was very pleased with the customer service I received even though all I was getting was a cover for my speaker.
The soundlink mini is a great little speaker. It might not have the popularity of the pill made by beats by dre or other heavily marketed flashy speakers but the Bose quality speaks for itself. I simply love them. I bring it with me into the kitchen so I can listen to something while preparing food or when I’m doing other things around the house. Very convenient and quality is exceptional. Bluetooth or you can cannect an ipod to it. The charge lasts many hours. I recommend it highly.

I had an older SoundDock system that required a minor repair, when I was told (erroneously as it turned out by a new sales associate) that they no longer repaired that model, I was greatly disappointed as it was such a minor repair. I then contacted their corporate offices with my disappointment. The level of effort that they then went to to correct the problem & make me happy was unprecedented. I was stunned at the lengths they went to to restore my faith in Bose. I couldn’t be happier with Bose & my faith has not only been restored, but my opinion of them as a company has skyrocketed.

Bose has been around for a long time and even though they have not been toe to toe with competition they are still the best in customer service and satisfaction. My in ear head phones became defective after about 8 months of use. So i called to find out about warranty information and a very professional employee by the name of ryan anwsered and said to come in and he will be more than happy to warrenty swap them for me. Turned out they were purchased a little over a year ago, 3 weeks to be exact and i mentioned i got them as a gift about 8 months ago. So he spoke to a few people and said let me see what i can do and in about 5 minutes he brought me out a brand spanking new pair. So pretty much the warranty period already ended but he still took care of the situation as if I was still under a warrenty or else i would of payed half of what they cost to get a replacement. Moral of the story is i saved about 60 bucks and Bose has a life long customer. BTW – Ryan was rewarded with a gourmet lolipop.

Awesome I got my Bose 10 system, I didn’t had any problems with customer service like the other reviews I read, well anyways I love the place it’s like a candy store for a 3 year old for me.

I get it you have an exceptional foot hold in the audio world but show some humility and tell your employees to lose that grandiose ego of theirs.
I still come because I do like the products and wish to here some great ratio in my room while watching some show like Game of Thrones when it is on or movies
