I have been going to Alina for over a year now for Acne facials, eyebrow waxing and facial waxing. I get the best care when I go to her. She never makes me feel rushed. She does quality work and I can see the results right away.
Eyebrow waxing — I am extremely picky about who I go to for eyebrow waxing. Therefore, I go to Alina, I know she will make them look absolutely beautiful. She takes her time and my brows come out looking sharp thanks to her.
Facial Waxing — She uses hard wax. My skin is sensitive. She is aware of skin conditions and is extremely gentle with it. I have never had skin issues after facial waxing with her. In the past, I would break out after facial waxing, but not with Alina.
Acne Facial — I have been going to Alina for Acne facial for a while now. My skin is a 10 0000x better than when I started seeing her. She never pushes her products on me. Although, anytime I have ever bought something from her, it has definitely worked.
I absolutely adore Alina, and I can’t imagine going to anyone else. I trust her with my skin completely. She is kind and very caring. Some of the reviews here gave her a 1 start. Alina is fantastic people, show up on time. She is a busy lady, respect her time, and expect great facial results.

Used my Groupon deal to get a Brazilan wax with Alina today. Also, the Groupon deal is only for first timers, and afterwards, when you come back as a regular, it’s $ 35 — not bad!!!
Nice and acommodating lady, and of course, if she cannot make the appointment with you, she wil definitely call you back to reschedule. Something I appreciate with any professional since they are also respectful of your time as well.
Alina is lightning fast, and I was done within 15mins. Stripping the exterior sting a little, but the interior didn’t hurt as much, yay!!! I also dig that she got all the wax off, and so I didn’t have a sticky residue feeling after. She kept me distracted the whole time (talked about dim sum, Din Tai Fung in Glendale, and both Carousel Restaurant locations in Hollywood and Glendale) while she worked her magic — very pleased with her work! :)
She’s located in a beige building called Touch of Class Medspa and Laser. There’s street parking, or you can park in the lot down the street that Dollar Tree and Chipotle shares. The place where she works is nicely decorated, very serene and relaxing.
Worth the trip coming back here whenever I’m getting waxed in Glendale.

BRAZILIAN WAX REVIEW: Claimed my Groupon today! I was a bit skeptical because it was a Groupon but it was SO WORTH IT! Alina is great and for the first time, working fast is actually an amazing thing. She did it so quickly and it didn’t hurt after. She got everything! Definitely coming back. Of course it hurt when it was being done but she uses a hard wax on the sensitive spots so they definitely hurt less than if they were being stripped waxed. She knows what she’s doing. The downside is that she only does appointments so you can’t really do walk-​ins. But aside from that, I highly recommend her! The Groupon was only $ 26 at the time. Then you get a discount as a returning customer. Bring cash though! For tip!

Alina is amazingly fast and makes the process the least painful. She is a wonderful person and I highly recommend her service! I walked out in 5 minutes for a full Brazilian!

I came to get a facial from Alina months ago.
I arrived about 9 minutes late due to traffic (totally my fault I get it) but when I arrived, flustered from said traffic, the first words out of Alina’s mouth were not «hello» but rather «This is going to come out of your time» which again I get it I was late but it just set the tone for the whole experience.
When I got into the room for the facial there was no robe/​towel/​gown offered to protect my clothing which I thought was strange. Upon laying down for my facial Alina immediately tried to upsell me to some sort of ‘diamond’ facial… in my head I was wondering how in the world we would possibly have time for this since «traffic was coming out of my time“for the basic facial. I was also irritated that before evaluating my skin or talking to me about what my goals/​issues/​problem areas were she was already trying to milk me for more money. This was only the tip of the iceberg…
During my ‘facial’ her phone would not stop going off it rang 4 time and she took the calls twice ! One was a personal call which I found very inappropriate, the second was a call from a client once she got off the phone (with her gloves on… hello totally unsanitary!) she told me that the client calling was a deaf person with a translator and she had never done that before/​was wondering how she would be able to communicate and while thats a totally valid thought I think it was beyond unprofessional to share it with me… it lead me to think to myself I wish I was deaf in this moment so I wasn’t aware of how unprofessional/​disrespectful this facial treatment was going. She also received numerous texts/​alerts during my appt onto of the 4 phone calls, her ring tone is that *whistle* alert and she has it on full blast. It was a completely bizarre experience. I had checked her out on Unilocal ahead of time and there are glowing reviews… was I with the same Alina ??? On top of all of this the session ended early !!! It was supposed to be an hour — we started 9 minutes late («coming out of my time) she took 2 5 minute phone calls and then what was supposed to end at Noon ended at 11:52… so the 60 minute session was actually 33 minutes ??
I got the groupon-​if I had paid full price for this experience I would be livid. In the end quite frankly I felt like I should have been asking for my money back but I didn’t have the energy or time for whatever conflict that would have resulted in.
As for the «facial» she used what looked to be a generic paper towel brand, moistened with water and put over my eyes to «hydrate» PAPER TOWELS GUYS — then she applied a sialic acid mask, extractions, then some sort of ‘zapping’ machine with some oil she sprayed onto my face and got ALL over my hair (!?) and that was it. No consultation, no exfoliation, no steam, no massage, no mask. My skin feels no different — but hey after that experience at least its not feeling any worse ! My hair was left completely greasy.
This was just all in all really awful and I don’t understand how there are so many glowing reviews for this place — I feel like I was totally led astray.

I’m new to the state and needed waxing since May, it is now October. Yes, it took me five months, but it was worth the wait.
Alina was offering a Groupon deal for Brazilian waxing like so many other people in California do year round. He reviews were the only ones that impressed me though. I loved that her customers spanned a variety of ethnicities and that they all had great experiences. I felt she’d be safe but perhaps not perfect.
She truly exceeded my expectations. I didn’t have an appointment, but she graciously fit me in. I told her over the phone that I had a Groupon and she was still very eager to get me in and provide full service. She was quick and thorough as she took time to repair an ingrown that I had been picking at doe a while. She definitely went above and beyond with that.
I’m so happy I trusted her, I will return next month.

I’ve been going to Alina for over a year, since I moved to LA. I never believed in facials until Alina.
She is friendly, accommodating and patient, but most importantly, she does amazing work. Don’t be fooled, this is not the place to have a relaxing experience– she performs painful extractions on areas of your face you didn’t even know needed extractions. Your face will look mauled for the next several hours… But then you will be blemish free for at least the next few weeks and i promise you, you’ll get tons of compliments on your glowing skin. Think of it as a preventative measure. I’ve tried going months without her, but I’m addicted to whatever magic she performs and just keep coming back.
Pro tip: don’t be late. She is a busy gal.

Came here for a Brazilian after finding Alina on Groupon. It literally was the fastest wax I’ve ever gotten — it only took ten minutes. It was easy making an appointment with her on the phone and when the time came, I was in and out of her salon. She uses a combination of hard wax and soft wax and it wasn’t too painful.
The prices here are great, I’ll definitely be back for her great services. Thank you, Alina!

Alina is great. She is my new wax lady. I found her on Groupon for a Brazilian wax and she made my experience so great! I had never gotten one before and she made me feel so comfortable. She is also very flexible with appointment times which is a plus!

I am so thankful to have found Alina! After reading her Unilocal reviews, I came to her in a very desperate state. I had been trying just about anything to get my skin better and after starting my new dermatologist medications, it went through the purge cycle. Every single pore in my face had to purge before it started to clear the acne. I originally went to my highly reviewed dermatologists office esthetician, but after their «acne facial» my skin got so much worse.
Alina’s prices are very reasonable and she is incredibly thorough. I now am seeing her regularly and I have not had my skin feel like this since the last year. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. You are in good hands.

Alina 1 000 000% gives the BEST ACNE FACIAL ON THE PLANET –she is an Angel really! If you want results, you will for sure without a doubt get them. She is so sweet but she means business. And by that this is no fru-​fru spa experience. You go in you lay down and she takes the time to examine your skin, consult with you and she gets to work. I LOVE that. I want my skin clear and flawless & glowing… not a face steam and massage to waste my time & money and get no result.
This woman is also a biologist. Which gives her another perspective on dealing with the skin. I feel beyond blessed that I even found her. I have had many facials in my life at the most expensive places in LA. Nothing compares to her work, love, energy, experience and ability to get the job done. No one!
I also suggest that you use the products she has. She has done the research and knows exactly what she is talking about. But — she does not push product at all! You have to ask her! If she has it in stock, get it! She runs out quickly.
She is literally a miracle worker!
Pricing. The best I have ever seen. She has one fee. It includes whatever she needs to do to correct your skin. Peels, Microderm, Exactractions… like I said WHATEVER is necessary for you to get the best results! PERIOD! Smartest woman ever on that one too.

I came for a facial about 2 weeks ago and I cannot get over how good my skin looks! I’ve had so many acne facials and left feeling so bad as none of them have worked, all that changed when I went here!
Honestly I’ve battled with bad skin for years and my skin now, after 1 facial is SOOOO much better! I haven’t had any breakouts and my skin is smooth.

Alina is the bee’s knees!!! My skin has gone bonkers the last few months and just when I had given up hope, Alina came to the rescue!
I’ve never struggled with acne before, nor had a facial, so i was very apprehensive. I began searching for a place to get my first facial at and Alina had amazing reviews (rightfully so) AND i found a groupon for her facials! Score, done and done.
The office is clean and welcoming. The extractions were terrible, obviously, but Alina kept me comfortable by talking to me about funny movies and music. She definitely put me at ease with her knowledge and explanations throughout the whole process.
One week after she worked her magic and I am cured! My skin has not looked so clear and healthy in years! She even checked in on me a few days after to see how everything was healing.
I couldn’t recommend her more!

I saw Alina for the 2^nd time. I came back for a facial. She applied glycolic peel and something else, I think vitamin a. It burn and sting when she applied it but didn’t last long. She was nice enough to offer me a fan even though I didn’t use it. She did warn me i would experience mild skin peeling next couple days as if my skin is dry, which my skin did feel dry and flaky and I wasn’t too happy about it. I used heavy moisturizer and sunblock which seem to help. However a week later, my skin feels and look better. I am happy with the result, it was worth it. I will continue to see you Alina, you are wonderful at what you do!

It was my first time meeting Alina. I got a Groupon for Brazilian waxing.
Alina is the first master who did it in 15 minutes. For me, it’s amazing. The less time — the less pain. But the results were great no matter of the time spent.
Next, I went to Alina for a facial. I’m really glad that I chose her. My skin looks much better and feels so soft and refreshed.
Alina works very professionally and friendly.
She does an amazing job with skin, quick and excellent.

This review is long overdue, I went to see her months ago but haven’t had time to write a review.
Alina is probably good for people with bad acne, based on her reviews. I don’t know since I haven’t had acne for a long time, but I did get a Lifebooker voucher for her ultrasonic facial and enzyme mask. My experience was far from good. She is very UNPROFESSIONAL, here’s why:
I arrived on time for my appointment but had to wait for her to finish another appointment. I waited about 10 mins before she saw me.
During the treatment, her cell phone rang and she answered it without leaving the room and was on the phone with her 35 year old son, speaking loudly in the room for more than 5 mins! After her call, she explained that her son had injured his arm due to a hockey accident and she doesn’t «why he’s going to a Vietnamese doctor when there are so many doctors out there.» Those were her actual words, and this was after she asked where I was from and I mentioned I was born in Vietnam. Seems like a racist thing for her to say. There are lots of good Vietnamese doctors out there.
Finally, the 2 stars I gave her is not based only on her unprofessionalism and racist comments, but because her facial and the toner she adamantly told me I should buy from her have done absolutely nothing positive for my skin.

I keep getting compliments about my glowing skin. I LOVE IT.
I first met Alina when she had a salon in DTLA. As much as I liked her, I hated going there since parking is terrible. She mentioned she was moving to Glendale and I kinda forgot about it until I came upon an ad for her new spot. I made two appointments within a couple of weeks with her (for two different things) and was super pleased with the results both times. As I was leaving her office, one of the girls I usually go to texted that she was moving to a different location so I decided on the spot that Alina would be my new go-​to for all my spa needs.
Trust me — go see her. She can work miracles on you.
