Its an excellent place to get the smog test done. I called late Saturday and he waited for me. Once I got there, he greeted us with a warm smile and it was a quick in and out. The elderly gentleman who tested our car was super friendly.

Impeccable service. Closed a deal on my car and needed a Smog Check ASAP. He was open on Christmas Eve, gave him a call, showed up a little before closing time, he answered all my questions, and took care of me in under 20 minutes. Very smooth experience!

I agree with all the other 5 star reviews. I was running late no appt called asked what time he closes said 6pm it’s now 535pm but said take my time he would wait for me. Got there at 555pm didn’t faze him took my car with a friendly smile. It is a hole in the wall place but clean and organized. The owner has old world charm he is soft spoken and a gentleman. He offered me a cup of coffee that hit the spot at 6pm Friday! Got my car passed and on my way in about 20 min. I will go back.

Fast, courteous, and inexpensive ($ 40). I went on a Wednesday around 3 pm. No waiting. Arnie immediately got to work on my car. About 20 minutes later, I was on my way. Somehow, Arnie manages to turn an inconvenience into a pleasant experience.

I love Arnie’s! Great service and an even better personality. Fast and efficient, plus the cost for a smog test is the best around. His shop can only handle one car at a time but he makes sure that you’re comfortable while waiting. I’ve been lucky to be the only one there when I bring in my car (twice now) so I haven’t had any problems whatsoever.
He will forever have my business and he should have yours too! :)

Came in for a smog check and he has the lowest around the area. He also put air in my car tires. :) We don’t get this type of genuine quality service anywhere.

This place is the best! Called, spoke to Arnie and he said I could come right over. Sure enough he checked out my car right away. Offered me some water and I waited while he completed the test.
My car passed, paid $ 40 and headed out. Nice guy and nice shop. Only downside is they don’t take Amex so make sure you bring another form of payment.

He was an amazingly nice guy. I passed my smog with flying colors… It went quick, affordable. He gave me a nice refreshing water on a hot day and offered the chairs in the garage.
Sadly, what happened after the smog check was bad. On my way from Arnie’s I went to do my taxes down the street, (no more than a mile) my car started overheating and there was a hose leak. THEN, the A/​C electrical fan module went out due to the leak. It might have been purely coincidental but I still can’t believe that actually happened.
Anyways, I went from looking for an affordable smog and came out paying $ 940.00 to fix my car. Like I said, it could have been a coincidence but MAN that is a pretty big one. No hard feelings though.

Arnie was very welcoming and even joked with us when we came in to get our Honda civic smog checked. Immediately when we sat down he offered us both bottles of water and candy expresso (see pics for proof!). He was very efficient and provided us with top service!
We usually go this guy in North Hollywood, but decided to come by here for convenience and glad we did. Although it is $ 10 more than our other location, we don’t mind it at all for the customer service and convenience Arnie offers =)
