Cheaper than Rosatis, and while the pizza is not as good, for a long time it was close enough to make up for the price difference. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. For whatever reason the cheese is lower quality, and the sauce lacks flavor. The reason for the 2 stars is the guys that work there were super friendly when I came in last time.

After a faithful 3 years, I ordered from Rox for the last time ever tonight. Last time we ordered(delivery) several weeks ago the pizza had been obviously dropped in transit and was a mess inside the box. Tonight the order was made wrong, and late. This place has gone downhill quite a bit lately.

First and last time I order from Rox. Below average pizza, garlic bread was cold when delivered and they forgot the wings. When I called to tell them about the wings, which they were going to deliver, I ordered another pizza for the kids. When the driver showed up 30 minutes longer than quoted he didn’t have the wings… again. After calling back with a few choice words I was told not to order at Rox anymore. No problem. I’ll spend my $ 50 a week somewhere else.

New owners. Sadly, this is not a good thing. We ordered a pizza from them and there was so much cheese on it that we had to throw it out. We were loyal weekly customers of Rox for years but we will be finding another pizza spot. Boo.

Just something about it that makes me give the pizza a 4 star rating. Price is good. Pizza by the slice taste good too. Nice to have this option in the area.

Check out the dates on these reviews. Prior to 2015, the owner was always there, he was a hard working, polite, and friendly gentlemen. I do believe this place has changed ownership. It was our favorite place to get pizza, really good cheese and sauce. But this last time, March of 2015, he was nowhere to be found, and the pizza seemed different, I think they changed to a cheaper fake cheese. I might try it one more time, on a small pizza or a single slice. It would be a shame if they cheapen the food.

Not bad. Quick and typical. Nothing fancy.

Solid pizza that’s cheap and fast. Used to come here for lunch all the time in high school. Owner is a great guy.

New owner bad service. Ordered 2 large pizzas paid almost 40 dollars only to discover they were much smaller than before(14 in.) I was feeding 4 men and this was very embarrassing. I called and the new owner said they had new prices and new sizes. I suggested she let the customers know as they will not be expecting the large to be so small. She was rude and unapologetic and i told her she just lost a good customer. She said I lost out on the best puzza in town. Nice response? Pizza wasnt even good. Crust tastes like cardboard. Wont ever order from there again. We miss Luis!

Although the guy always says everything tastes good, but actually not so good for us. The last time we ordered mushroom pizza, but the mushrooms were not fresh, probably canned. Was really tasteless. We’ll be ordering somewhere else.

We are big fans of pizza and this is the best of its kind in Glen Ellyn! After trying just about everyone in town, we can’t find anyone who tops the flavor and quality. We order just the regular crust. Their sausage is very good and their veggies always fresh. We haven’t ventured beyond the pizza, but why would we!

«Oh wow this is amazing pizza!» Those are the first words out of my pizza loving fiancé’s mouth. Seriously good pizza.

This place has very good pizza. My work often hosts events and this is our go-to place, never really had any complaints. Lately ive been stopping by and getting pizza by the slice but ive found that the owner is very rude. Not sure if ill be buying from this place again. The rest of his family is very friendly but the owner is extremely rude every time I go in there.

Excellent pizza! The crust and sauce are top notch. Warning: no dining room. Some stools and a little table.

Let’s keep this short. Best thin crust in the western suburbs. The double dough is also great.

When I was a kid, it was common to see the proprietor of a pizza joint, in the back making pies. Maybe it’s nostalgia but pizza seemed to taste better then. No cheap tasteless cheese on undercooked pies with too much sauce made by underpaid overworked people who don’t give a dam. In the present day I was visiting a friend last week and they ordered out from this place. The thin crust pizza was the best I’ve had in years. Good ingredients and perfect old school balance. This simple pizza took me back to when I was a kid, when ordering a pizza was a rare treat. For me, this pie was a TIMEMACHINE. It made me remember.

This review is just for the pizza — but I plan to try more! This pizza is solid. It has fresh ingredients and definitely hits the spot. It is a grave mistake not to go with the double dough, you will regret it if you do not. Not that their other pizza is bad, but the double dough is just that great! The owners are very nice as well — so that is always a plus. We recently moved and I picked up several pizzas to feed the hungry guys who gave up their Saturday to help us, and the owner gave me a discount without me saying a word. Its little things like this that make a huge difference! I will follow up when I try more items from here — and will definitely be returning for more pizza!

The pizza was better than I expected. The owner and the family were very polite and the order was done pretty quick. The pizza is a 4– 4 ½. As other reviews have mentioned, the place is small so don’t expect to sit around and eat. You could but it would be a VERY tight fit. The price is competitive with other places locally. Now the gyros. For me, it was decent but not elite. The meat was well seasons and served nice and hot. The sauce was also decent but not very much on it(at least as much as I’m accustomed to). I think it was the pita that didn’t do it for me. It was warm but tasted different from other places. 31÷2−3 ¾ I think I’d like to try one of the pasta dishes or the meatball sandwich. Bottom line, a decent place to pick up something fast. Just for the considerate nature of the owner, that’s enough for me to come back(should I be near Rox in the future).

I used to order from this place quite often. The coupons make it worth it and I like everything I’ve had from there. The owner is super friendly and makes you feel very welcome, do not hesitate to order from this place. Good food and good staff. I recommend carry out as its just a small little place.
