We discovered Micah after searching Unilocal reviews and talking to neighbors and had him out to do a routine check of our heating system followed by a routine AC check a few months later. The heating was no problem. The AC however needed a little work which Micah was able to complete extremely quickly. The only issue was that the AC work took place when the weather was a little cold, so Micah had to come back out two separate times to deal with a couple of issues that weren’t apparent when he first performed the work. He has not only been easy to reach, but also has been super responsive. I highly recommend his services to anyone in the area. He can’t be beat and is a very good guy to work with!

After Home Depot and Four Seasons dissappointed me by trying to rip me off, I’m so glad I came across Micah on Unilocal.He came out immediately and gave me an honest estimate and the work was done in a timely, professional manner. This Superbowl Sunday, my furnace went out and he was ready to come over that same evening and fix it! You’re in good hands.

Having been a homeowner in Wheaton for more than 30 years, I’ve had furnaces and a/​c replaced, serviced and annual checkups/​cleaning from some of the most known of the HVAC companies and I’ve been disappointed so often that this season I went in search of someone highly recommended rather than well-​known. I found MKDS to be highly recommeded. MKDS/​Micah responded to my initial phone call immediately, called back within an hour, as promised, and was able to give me an appointment to fit my schedule. The efficient and courteous service I received today from Micah exceeded my expectations — I’ll be using MKDS for my Spring a/​c check and cleaning and all other future HVAC needs and I’ll certainly recommend MDKS to my circle of friends.

Micah gave quick response from answering the call to coming out and diagnosing the issues. He was was well prepared and had the parts needed on hand to get our air conditioner up and running quickly. This was helpful as extremely high temperatures are in the forecast for the next few days.
As others have said Micah is very friendly and knowledgeable and was non pressuring. He was nice enough to point out that due to the age of our unit we might want to prepare for a new unit in the future. This information is useful and my wife and I can start budgeting for a new unit should ours eventually permanently break down.
A+ to MKDS Mechanical! I would definitely use them again and took some cards from Micah to give to others in need of heating and air conditioning service.

I am very impressed with Micah and his company. Answered calls and was able to set up an appointment within a couple days. He was running a bit late and called to let me know which is not usual in my experience. Resolved my problem and recommended another service without being pushy or going for the upsell. I have an old boiler type heater unit in my house and needed a few necessary things done but not a large job this time. Most companies don’t even return calls for smaller jobs or if they do, it is a week later. Most impressive with Micah is his responsiveness and promptness. He returned calls same day and worked to schedule within 48 hours. He was respectful in the house and went out of his way to ensure things were done right, He has earned all of my future business and referrals to friends.

Micah did a great job diagnosing and replacing my furnace and air conditioner. I had originally talked with a big company who wanted to charge me more than double what Micah’s quote was. He’s knowledgable, fast and friendly and I never felt any pressure from him. He also gave me helpful suggestions for other areas of my house. Will be calling him again soon to replace my water heater!
