Food was ok but service was great. Manager was very helpful with our large family. For an airport we couldn’t expect more. Fish and chips were good along with the Chesapeake Berger

The bartenders Dawn and Anthony made my 3hr delayed flight bearable with good conversation and Dawn kept the good drinks coming. It was my friends birthday and they even gave her a few gifts. Overall I loved the atmosphere and the people working.

In all my travels, I can count on my hand the number of meals that actually have been decent. Let’s face it, you don’t go to the airport to eat. After a weekend in Baltimore, I had some time to kill and stopped in. And I was way impressed with my meal. I went with crab soup as well as a crabcake sandwich and both were equally delicious. The soup was spiced well and had a good gob of crab meat to hold me over. The same could be said about the crabcake sammy. The cake itself was more crab than fillers(as it should be) and it came on a soft potato roll that held up well to the crabcake. Don’t know that next time I will be at BWI but rest assured, if and when I do, I will hit this up again.

Located in terminal D close to United gates. A good spot to grab a bite if you have extra half hour before the boarding time. We got one hamburger and one cheapeake. Both were pretty good. Meat patties and veggies were fresh. The services were fine. The price was kind of high as typical terminal dishes. Overall it was good.

I ate at a green turtle in Olney MD for first time and it was fantastic. On our way back to Houston we saw one in an airport and had to go one more time because the one in Olney way so good. The food was hardly the same. I order same thing I ordered at the other restraunt, chicken strips, and they brought me out some pre frozen crappy Sysco type chicken strips. Price was the same, food was not. I brought it to their attention and they said because they were in the airport, most patrons want short order and they need food they can cook fast. So I paid dinner adult price for kids menu quality food! I was sooo mad. Especially since it was their awesomeness that brought me back. How can you replace a signature item on your menu with some BS like that. You don’t go to a well known restaraunt and order a quality branded product and get fast food! After seeing managements response, I value their concern to right their wrong. I have changed the review to reflect 3 stars rather than the previous 1 star I had left. Hopefully they will do as they said.

Stopped in to grab breakfast prior to flying out. Had the Oldbay scramble with bacon, tots and toast. For what it was it was fine. The service was good and the prices were reasonable.

Pretty good for airport food. I had the Crab Dip. It was served sizzling lot in a skillet, with toasted pretzel bread. Very nice!

While waiting for our flight my sister and I grabbed a bite to eat. The picking were slim so we lucked up when we saw the Green Turtle. It has a Sports Bar vibe. That had several Football Games on… all except the Falcons game that I wanted to watch. I kept it simple and had a Philly Cheesesteak with Fries. My sister had Crab Dip, Salad, and Crab Soup. My Philly was pretty good. I tried the crab dip and it was ok. It came with Pretzel Bread. My sister did not like her soup. It was pretty much veggie soup with some crab meat floating around. Before we wrapped up eating we asked for our check so we wouldn’t have to rush… that didn’t work. Our server took forever to come back. We had to get someone else to cash plus out or else we would have missed our flight. We were pissed to say the least. She could have moved faster. I mean we were in an airport. Smh

The bottomless lemonades are great(I got a lemonade with real peach pieces!) at $ 3.99. The crabby melt($ 11.98) was super unhealthy(it’s basically their crab dip with cheddar cheese and bacon and tomato on buttered white bread) but still yummy. The fries are crispy like Burger King’s fries! The waitresses all seem so sad and overwhelmed here(there were only 3 working on a super busy Saturday afternoon) so don’t bug them too much. The food took forever to come out, and it’s not worth it, but at least it’s made to order(or so it seems). There aren’t very many food options in Terminal D, but if you have a lot of time to kill, Greene Turtle it is! They sell Utz chips which is a plus for last minute east-coast shopping(I consider Utz a souvenir, especially the crab seasoning flavor!).

Stopped by for breakfast before my flight back home. The waiter semi greeted me seemed like he was half sleep. He asked me for my order. Since it was slow I asked to take care of the check at the same time. It took about 20 minutes for my food to come out. Not sure why but oh well. My food came out with the people’s food around me that came a while later. I had scrambled eggs, toast, tater tots and a sausage patty. Tater tots were the best tasting things in the plate. Toast was decent can’t mess up toast unless you burn it. The sausage was pretty bland. Not much flavor or seasoning kinda made myself eat it. Waiter never did follow up with me to see how everything was. He wasn’t very friendly. Not sure if I could post names so I’ll refrain for today. If you are expecting a delicious breakfast don’t come here.

I fly out of BWI all the time and I eat at this place often. Their crab sandwich is amazing. Although there’s room for improvement on their buns.

Tried the Philly Cheesesteak — steak wasn’t really seasoned and there was a lot cheese! Fries were so so. Overall it’s not a bad option for an airport.

This place doesn’t have the best ratings, and I’m not exactly sure why. I plopped down at the bar to a server that got to to me right away. The place has a mix of local, domestic, and imported beer, so I asked the server to walk me through the local options on draft. She was friendly and prompt, and I was happy with my choice. I ordered a basket of fries that were good as far as fries go. The man next to me had a pretty tasty looking breakfast burger with waffles for buns and a fried egg. I asked, and he liked his food. The Greene Turtle also has free wifi with no time limit. That’s essential since BWI only provides 45 minutes of free internet. There are lots of outlets at tables and the bar too, so I managed to fully charge my phone. Again, that’s essential in an airport that has charging walls in lieu of outlets at each gate. The food wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it was a tasty, served quickly, and the servers were fun. Also, the server spelled my name correctly before seeing it written, and that just never happens!

In the D terminal at BWI. Was looking for a place to sit down and eat, no rushing. My co-worker and I found a table and sat down. Ordered a peach tea, crab soup and house salad. The tea was awesome… the soup however, was just as cold as the tea. Disgusting! Was really looking forward to some hot soup considering its June and only 60 outside, plus the airport had the air conditioning blasting. Brrrrr. The salad was ok. Nothing special. Prob wouldn’t be back. Maybe would head to McDonalds for a snack wrap instead.

I wasn’t expecting much from an airport restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got to BWI way too early on Easter Sunday and was the only one at the bar for a while. I like that the bar has electrical outlets in front of almost every bar seat so you can charge your device without having to crawl under the table or charge it across the room. The bartender, Dawn, was very friendly and helpful. I tried the Shellraiser, which is a pale ale made by Heavy Seas Brewing in Baltimore partnered with the Greene Turtle. It was delicious! She made sure my water was never empty and checked on me often. Since I was in Maryland, for lunch I had to try the Maryland Crab Mac n Cheese. Yum! It came with a side of greens. The cheese was a little runny but overall the dish was good. I got a few pieces of crab shell, which may bother some, but to me it was a sign that it was real crab and not imitation. The prices weren’t too bad for an airport spot. My total was $ 20 for the meal and a beer without tip. Not bad! I will be back next time I’m in the area.

I’m at the airport. I have a little over an hour before my flight and the only thing I have in my stomach is the copious amounts of coffee that I had in the morning. What I’m looking for at lunchtime is: 1. open outlets for my phone, 2. fast efficient service, 3. a nice greasy burger. Two out of three isn’t bad. This place is designed for the traveller. Plenty of seating with open outlets that doesn’t require ridiculous acrobatic feats to reach(or leaving your much-beloved device far away from your watchful eye). The food was what I wanted. My burger was juicy, yummy, and filling. And my waitress did her best, but the table sections made no sense. The guy sitting to my left had a different waiter than the guy to my right and of course I had a waitress, who was also serving tables in sections across the room as well. So I was a very lonely patron. In fact, I asked for everything I needed all at once because who knows when I’ll see her again? Overall, this place is good. But be prepared, since good and bad at an airport restaurant could mean the difference between high anxiety or travel zen. On a final note, I would not recommend the root beer. I thought it has a weird(soapy?) aftertaste. I can’t put my finger on what it is, but I am not a fan.

Killing some time between flights? Yep, it’s the Greene Turtle at BWI not far from the Delta gates. One of three or four choices for a sit down — I’ve been to both the burger place and the Mexican places — expect a wait if it’s when the main bank of flights are departing around the dinner hour. I waited about ten minutes, which was totally legit, before a hightop opened up. Bonus for having a power outlet right there at the table to let me top off my phone and laptop. Minus points for a $ 8 draft beer. I get that this is a captive audience, but that’s excessive.

Not a bad place to stop and grab a quick beer and a bite while you are at the airport. It is typical bar food. We had the wings and sliders… They were both good. The service was fast and with a smile. Just the way it should be at the airport!

Don’t do it! Waitress is friendly. Manager is nice. Good is crap! Soup is watery, and very little crab. Crab cake is burnt on top and ice cold inside. Fries are reheated and greasy. Ended up with a free soda and walked out. In general, Terminal D is not on the same level as the others.

Elektrogeräte gehören separat aufs Band, also Handy, Laptop, ipod etc. schön auspacken.
