Kevin is responsive, reliable, and a really nice guy to work with. And he does great work.

I’ve contacted Kevin a few times over the past year. He always promptly responds to my emails and phone calls. Today he finished the closet insert my hubby started a year ago. Kevin told me last year it would be about an 8 hour job. All product reviews said a 2 hour job. Kevin was right! It took my husband 8 hours! (building drawers, cutting metal, ect.) I had to order more shelving and my husband never got around to finishing the job. Kevin finished today in 1.5 hours as he predicted. He also hung a huge, heavy, wood mirror in a matter of minutes. Kevin is dependable, honest, hardworking with superior communication skills! So happy I found him via Unilocal!

Kevin is reliable, responsible and fair. He will come when he says he is going to come, and do the job correctly. He’s very positive and if he can’t do something well, he’ll tell you and be honest with you and help you get someone that can. He has been a pleasure to work with and I will for sure use him again.

Called Kevin for the first time after reading his Unilocal reviews. Had him replace a bedroom ceiling fan. Kevin was on time, neat and did an excellent job. We’ll definitely use him again and refer him to friends.

Horrible service! I read the reviews, made the choice and called. No calls were ever returned. too bad to, I have a lot of properties to have work on! My 1^st job would of been over 10k! So my advice, return all your calls because you never know who needs service the most.

I have searched long and hard to find a dependable handyman to work on my mother-in-law’s home. Kevin has been just that and more. He is patient with her, RESPONSIVE, very meticulous, trustworthy, and priced very reasonably. He installed kitchen cabinets for her that we bought at Lowe’s. After a small issue, he came back and fixed things, and then he refused to take more payment saying he felt bad about the situation. Are you kidding me? The world needs more Kevins!!!

Very dependable. Goes right to work, he knows his stuff. Put in ceiling fans with little effort. He will be installing security screen doors for me in the near future. I have a couple of other handyman jobs for him to do. Very capable and professional.

Kevin is really a fantastic handyman. Very knowledgeable, patient, and absolutely wants to make sure the job is done right the first time. I had him come to our house to hang some curtains in the living room and Kevin alerted me that the hardware wasn’t correct and that he was concerned that it would fall. It took a couple more trips for him to hang them once I received the correct hardware but was really happy with his work and him alerting me of the issue. I would definitely recommend Kevin for any handyman services.

In the past I have tried calling different handyman, but usually don’t get any response back. I was able to reach Kevin via email and phone.
I was able to arrange to have Kevin come over within a week. He was prompt and finished several tasks for me. Even though he underestimated the time that would take him to finish all the tasks, he completed all the work without charging me more. And he made sure that his work was precise and as expected. I really appreciate his tremendous help.
Would definitely contact him for more projects in the future.

Kevin is a great handyman. Replaced a disposal and kitchen sink for me. He arrived on time, did a great job, cleaned up after himself, and called a couple of days later to make sure no leaks. Highest recommendation.

Kevin did a great job on installing a sun screen on my patio. I was able to make an appointment within few days. He was on time, professional, and would clean up after the job done. Love his work. Highly recommended.

I will just echo the comments of all the other reviewers — Kevin is the best !! He took care of a half dozen smaller-​type jobs for me today and was prompt, professional and very helpful. I had several handyman come out to give me an estimate but decided to go with KB Handyman. I’m so glad I did! Kevin did a great job converting half my garage into a gym. The project required a variety of jobs — painting, assembling equipment, installing track lighting, putting up shelves and even constructing a small partition wall. The gym looks fabulous! I will definitely have Kevin do all my future handyman jobs. He is very fair, honest, dependable and does quality work. Thanks Kevin!

Kevin does great work.
I’d been ignoring some water damage in one of our bathrooms & he fixed it. New caulking for the tub was the root cause of the problem which he diagnosed quickly. He also took care of the small amount of mold in the flooring & replaced with new vinyl floor & baseboards. The water damaged sheet rock was replaced & textured to match the existing walls.
Kevin works very efficiently & is neat with this work. He is communicative & kept me informed about project progress & schedule changes.
I’d hire him again! :-)

As usual when looking for a local service, I came to Unilocal first. I reached out to 5 handyman services. It’s a sad state of affairs but only 2 actually got back to me. Kevin was the first back with an email and we arranged a view and estimate the next day.
Kevin called letting me know when he would be in town. He turned up on time and gave a very fair estimate on what I wanted doing (cutting a hole in an exterior wall to fit an oversized dog door into)
I am rarely home so I gave Kevin house keys so he could do the job while I was away. It kind of says something when you are willing to give someone you’ve just met the keys to your house, but thats just the good feeling you get from the guy.
Kevin did the job when he said he would, and called me once he was done to report back. Although there were potential risks that the outside stucco would chip and need patched up after, and that I would need some inside drywall replaced, Kevins work was so clean neither of these things came to pass, so really I couldn’t be happier.
I will use Kevin again I am sure, and I will spread the good word to others.

Kevin is prompt, honest, and reliable I’m so glad I found him! I had him do a few maintenance & repair jobs around my condo and the price was very reasonable I was doubly delighted. (laundry closet door rail repair, sliding patio door maintenance, kitchen drawer glider repair)
Unlike some other highly rated handyman, he was immediately available. No ridiculous 2 month wait!
Glad to have found him and I will definitely call him with any future repair needs!
Note: He doesn’t do credit cards but he’ll accept checks. He accommodated me by accepting a check in the mail since I’m far away.

Kevin has rebuilt 4 of our closets to maximize the space because we have so much crap… He’s awesome, very detailed, and does superior quality job! He’s also hung a number of very large pictures and help with some installation around the house… couldn’t ask for a better handyman. He’s also extremely ethical. We will always call Kevin when we need something done!

Kevin did a remodel on our fireplace and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of work he provides, it’s 110% 5 stars! He is professional, clean, friendly, and flexible.
Now instead of a ‘Honey-​Do’ list, we are starting an official ‘Kevin-​Do’ list.
Can’t wait to get more work done =)

We have been very pleased with everything KB Handyman has done for us. All the jobs my husband can’t do, have become jobs for Kevin. He is always on time, friendly, & meticulous. He saved us a thousand dollar job on a shower door by replacing a small part. He is now on my permanent call list

Kevin installed a bathtub faucet and a front screen door for me. The faucet proved to be a bit more of a problem than anticipated (very old house and everything is falling apart) but Kevin made it work!
The best thing about Kevin is his attitude. He is always upbeat and has a «can-​do» attitude.
