The owner Joe gave us several options and quotes to meet our budget and preference. The carpet was installed in a timely professional manner. It looks great! I love the color, padding is so comfy and our rooms look awesome! Highly recommend Five Star flooring.

Joe and his team are great! When we first went to their show room and selected our wood and carpet with Andrea; there was no pressure at all… their main priority was to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. Once my husband and I made our selection it went very quickly, Joe came over took the measurement and gave his advise on what we were thinking. Within a week and a half our material’s came in and the guys did the job all in one day (carpet in 4 rooms and the stairs, wood floor upstairs hallway) the installers Edgar and Eduardo are very professional and educated and will answer any questions and concerns that you may have. Joe is very up front with pricing and also very reasonable for the work that they do. They go above AND BEYOND TO ENSURE THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE SATISFIED. My husband and I would highly recommend Five star floors!!! :)

Unilocal steered my to this business when I needed to replace my old carpet. The head guy, Joe Allen, is very knowledgeable and quite personable and has years of experience in the flooring business. I spent an hour at his warehouse getting trained by him on what my options were for carpet, pad, etc and the price was very appealing. He was very patient and answered all my questions.
Joe and his crew have been doing flooring for years as contractors for Lowes and a year ago went public.

). We bought a closeout and got a great carpet at a great price. The 2 man crew that came and laid the carpet were all of who you would want in your house; clean, friendly, careful, quiet, and efficient. These guys knew what they were doing and got to business quickly and yet professionally. All the edges, corners and weird angles were done beautifully!
I am so impressed and satisfied with the outcome that I was compelled to give them a 5 star write up!

We needed the carpet replaced in our top floor. Joe came out on the same day we talked to him at the store. He was very personable and took the time to explain the whole process of quoting and install. They installed carpet in our entire top floor in one day, and it came out great! I would highly recommend Five-​star floors.

Joe did a great job on our carpet and laminate wood flooring. The price was right and we are very happy with the outcome! Had a couple planks of the laminate that had weird marks, but they came right back and fixed them!

Knocked out my project on a Saturday which really helped with my crunch timelines. Patched some flooring gaps from a wall demo. I don’t normally recommend having painters and flooring guys work the same room at the same time, but Joe and team got it done with a smile. THANKS GUYS.

Found Joe on Craiglist for a special carpet request. Not only did he immediately understand my needs, but he went out of his way to work out something reasonable. I felt very well taken care of. Will definitely be going back when I’m ready to purchase more flooring.

Just had our floors done and they’re beautiful! Joe (owner) was great to work with, very professional and honest! Jerry and Jose ripped everything out and got floors in, in a total of 6 days. They were also super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Five Star Floors, we’ll be using them again when we replace our carpet.

Last summer we contracted through Lowes to have 1000 sq ft of carpet installed in the upstairs of our new home. We were really impressed with Joe, Erin and Jeremy on their responsiveness, follow thru and workmanship.
In selling our condo, we decided to go through Lowes again due to our last experience with Five Star to install 1100 sq ft of carpet. Once again the entire team exceeded our expectations. Over a year later, we decided we wanted to install 400 sq ft of hardwood bamboo in our living room/​dinig room.
We went back to Lowes and they sent someone to measure but it wasn’t Joe. We requested Five Star and were told they were no longer contracted with Lowes. I didn’t get a comfortable feeling with the other contractor so we cancelled everything with Lowes and called Joe. He returned my call on a weekend and was working with us on Monday. He recommended a stronger hardwood which turned out beautifully and ensured we were happy. We needed to level the floor which was a concern for us, but Joe came in under budget and under the deadline.
Jerry worked on this project with us. He ensured great communication and worked hard to get things done. All 3 projects had crews that were professional and always cleaned up at the end of the day and job.
We highly recommend Five Star to anyone and everyone!

About 8 months ago I purchased ~2200 sq ft of Pergo Max flooring from Lowes and they subcontracted out to Five Star Floors to do the installation. The crew, Jerry and Jose, did an absolutely amazing job and, 8 months later it still looks like it was completed just yesterday. Jerry and Jose were fun, friendly, courteous, professional and absolutely the best in their profession. I would highly recommend Five Star Floors to anyone. Thanks for an awesome job guys!

Owner Joe Allen came to our home, measured 3 bedrooms, living room and a hallway, assured us that they would pull up all the carpet and strips, hammer the nails down, and take care of the flooring before laying the Pergo laminate down. Besides pulling up the carpet, they would also haul it away with them, just another thing we did not have to worry about. Joe also agreed to work with us and do the installing in two days since we were moving furniture/​painting from one room to another. So on Friday and the following Monday Jerry and Jose showed up and work diligently throughout the day making sure our flooring was measured/​cut and laid perfectly. We are very happy that we did business with these men at Five Star Floors and would DEFINITELY recommend their business to anyone interested in quality work. They are true professionals, answering any questions we had about the flooring, cleaning up after themselves and making sure the whole job was done to our satisfaction before ever leaving the job. These folks try real hard to always do a great job. I manage a number of properties in the Bay Area and Erin/​Joe are always responsive, caring and efficient. Their prices are extremely competitive and the installations are craftsman quality. I don’t usually write reviews, but these folks deserve it.

We got our floors installed by them and they are amazing. Joe and his team were awesome. Really professional and courteous. Found out about them on here and so glad that we were able to get our floors installed by them. Everything came out beautifully done. Would definitely go to them again for flooring needs. The installers answered all question I had about cleaning and up-​keeping the floors. Just really impressed in their work, and very happy.

Five Star should be 10 Stars… fabulous company… fabulous service, fabulous people. We ordered carpet and laminate through Lowe’s. Erin the office manager corrected all the «screw ups» that Lowe’s made. She followed up with me daily and kept me informed as to what was going on. They have been so flexible with our installs… since we have had to do it in stages. The installers are amazing, quick, efficient and CLEAN. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this company!!!
