Carpeteria installed an Armstrong Sheet Vinyl in our kitchen and adjoining tv room. Our second floor installed by Carpeteria. We had a laminate installed in the kitchen that has lasted 12 years. From the first time (I went into the store many times with questions) I visited the store and started working with Kris to installation. Kris was very professional and courteous. Once I figured out the product she came out to the house to measure and offer her opinion about transition pieces and how to lay the vinyl. She went out of her way to order extra samples of items that they did not carry in the store. When I could not make up my mind she was very patient. She also was very knowledgeable about all of the products. She went above and beyond to figure out the best way to lay the sheet vinyl, showing her designer expertise. I really enjoyed working with Kris and would work with her again in the future. Furthermore, I have nothing but rave reviews for the man Bemave Morales (and his assistant) who went above and beyond to lay the vinyl. That had to work very hard to prepare the surface in both rooms before they laid the vinyl. They never complained and it was over 90degrees! They worked solidly from morning until late evening to get the job done. We were blown away by Bermave’s expertise, and his meticulous work. He was a true artist through the whole process. We basically got a new floor underneath the vinyl (at no extra charge other than the original prep charges we were quoted). He informed us this was the only way that the vinyl would lay flat and perfect and last. They did everything from stripping old paint and glue to adding a new sub floor and a new cement floor in the tv room. All perfectly. Then when he cut and laid the vinyl it is perfect. It is important when laying vinyl that there are not many seams so that it does not get worn down and come away from the floor. Bernard cut and laid the vinyl so well that unless we saw where he had to make the seam, we would not have been able to tell. Everyone raves about the floor and can’t believe it is seamless. We love the floor and we are so pleased with the quality of service and very reasonable prices. Lastly, while I did not work with the manager Gary Simpson personally, I know that he has only the best installers and employees working for him. He consistently does his best to provide the best quality of product, pricing and service. This is the second time we have used Carpeteria and we will use them again in the future.

Carpeteria staff installed a floor in an upstairs apartment. High quality work is done installing linoleum. Excellent prep and a perfect finish. Will use again. Just scheduled install of carpet in a bedroom of a home I just purchased for a rental. I will report back on the install.

The lady at the store, Kris is very rude. She came over to my house and took measurements and asked me to go to the store to decide on the carpet for a quote. When I went to the store, I noticed that they also stocked a few really small Karstan/​Persian rugs (2ftX4ft). I asked her the price and she said $ 300, when I asked her if they will go o sale ever… she mentioned that rich people will buy it. I have never seen or experienced such terrible customer service before. Either Carpetria needs to get their act together or train staff how to deal with customers. I will never recommend such a place to anyone… I got my floors done by another company that is very respectful to customers and they did a great job!

I was planning on installing hardwood and carpet in my house. I went to Carpeteria and requested a bid, Kris came to my house, she was very professional and very efficient. Two weeks later we have ordered material. The installers arrived they were very professional and very good, working very hard for two days.
The installation went smooth.
I love my floor and my carpet. I would recommend them to anyone.

This lasy, who is supposedly the manager is freaken horrible, the worst service ever! She surely did not wake up on the right side of the bed. She didnt even want to give me a quote and asked that I calculate the total cost on my own, stating that everything is simple calculations and they do not provide quotes. She was just freaken lazy. First carpet store I know of that does not give quotes on services that they provide. No wonder why this place is a freaken ghost town.

Bought our carpets approx. 12 years ago. Over time they developed speed bump like lumps. Not everyone has wall to wall carpets throughout their house, but we do. Did I mention we bought them 12 years ago. Anyway, I called Carpeteria and although the carpets were beyond warranty, they sent out their installers to give me an estimate. A couple of days later, Alfonso A. and his assistants showed up, surveyed the carpets in each room and offered me a very reasonable price to stretch them. They immediately went to work stretching, trimming, and reattaching my carpets. I tried to help them move the furniture, but they wouldn’t have. They even worked around my grand piano. Talk about friendly, competent, and energetic installers? These are the guys. My wife and I are very pleased with their attitude and their work ethic. They cleaned up thoroughly after themselves leaving our home looking great and leaving a good impression of Carpeteria. So when it comes time for the carpets to go, and replacing them with hardwood floors throughout, I think I know who I’m going to call. Thank you Carpeteria.

The new carpet is in, it looks great, and I am very pleased with the result. Kris came out to measure, arrived on time, was accurate and informative, and helped me with options. Placing the order was easy, the carpet arrived on time, and they were flexible with my schedule for install date. The guys (6 of them) who came out to install were professional and did a very good job. All in all I am very pleased with this experience.

My husband and I just had new laminate installed by Carpeteria. It looks wonderful and we recommend our consultant Kris Zwierz-​Ciok and installers, Alfonso (lead installer with 10 years experience) and Reese (not sure of his spelling.) Our installers worked great together; they were professional and respectful. They beautifully cleaned up our home and yard after each day. Our condo has many imperfections but they worked around each one. I would work with Carpeteria again in a heartbeat. Thanks!

We used Carpeteria for our laminate and carpet installation. Things started off great, the lady that helped us was very knowledgeable about carpets and helped us pick out a great carpet. But everything after picking the carpet and placing the order did not go so smoothly at all.
We placed the order on Tues. Dec. 28^th, and it was never made clear to us how long we would actually have to wait to get the carpet and flooring installed (we were so new to the process we didn’t know!)
We were just told we would be called on Monday (Jan.3). When we called on Sunday (Jan 2), they told us that the installation would happen Tuesday or Wednesday of that week. We were happy, and scheduled the move for the following weekend.
On Monday (Jan. 3) we waited till 3pm for a call, then went ahead and called. We found out that someone had given us the wrong information, our carpets & flooring would not even be in till the following Monday (Jan.10). So we would have to reschedule our entire move (no apologies made).
I was totally caught off guard, we had paid so much money I expected better service. I asked if we could get a refund, but they charge 25% of the total amount, please beware: no full refunds! (we were not informed of this when we placed the order).
Things got worse:
So now we are in the week of Jan. 10^th, we call over and over to find out the status, no one really calls back or seems concerned.
Tuesday (Jan. 11) and Wednesday, they come and rip out all of our floor downstairs, and do half of the laminate (only half of our laminate had arrived?!).
After calling on Wednesday we find out that the carpet has not arrived yet, it seems Thursday it will arrive and be installed.
Thursday, no calls, I call and they tell me installation for both will happen Friday.
Friday — only the carpet is installed, no explanations. I call, they tell us, «oh definitely saturday» for the rest of the laminate.
Please note that at this point, our living room is dusty ply wood, they ripped out our carpet and though they claim to know, it turns out they don’t have a clue when the rest of the laminate is going to be done.
Saturday, no phone calls, we call to find out, «oh maybe Monday, «.
Monday no phone calls, we call to find out, «oh Tuesday.» nope.
Wednesday was the lucky day, the rest of the laminate finally got installed. I could finally take their number off of quick dial.
I was very surprised at how unpredictable this whole process was. I would have expected that they would be more apologetic. I would have expected the manager to call us and give us more information when things started getting so inconvenient for us (we did ask to talk to him but were told he was not there). But no.
If they had been more upfront about the timeline, we would not have been so mad.
Is the carpet /​laminate shipping process this unpredictable? If it is, can Carpeteria please let their customers know this, instead of blindly predicting installation dates to pacify us. We had to reschedule our move and movers (who were great btw), 3 times!
It was an extremely frustrating process.
I would not recommend using Carpeteria, I give them two stars only because we got a good carpet and laminate, and the guys who came to install it were nice.

I had an excellent experience at this location. I was helped by Kris, she was knowledgeable and polite throughout the entire process. Our first visit to this location, we got lost and arrived about 15 mins before closing, Kris was there and she didn’t rush us and was willing to keep the store open so we could get a good look around and ask questions. I made a follow up appointment and requested to have my house measured… upon return, I found that Kris had meticulously measured and documented the areas to be carpeted at my house, no stone was left unturned! I spent about an hour and a half trying to decide on which carpet piles and colors and styles to pick. Kris was helpful and understanding of my indecisiveness… she even gave me recommendations based my preferences. I took her advice and I am very happy with how my carpet turned out! I purchased carpet for my hallway, stairs, landing, and two bedrooms. I love the carpeting and the installation went in perfectly. Kris also provided cleaning and care instructions on how to get the best life out of my carpet.

Do not expect to get service at this store. I went there recently with a tile problem and met a very unhelpful lady, This person was cold, unfriendly and uninformed and if I ever intended buying here I changed my mind very quickly. I have been in California for several months now and I have to say that she was the most unfriendly and disinterested person I have come across. I was intruding on her calm saturdayThere was not a single person in the store but she was still not prepared to invest any time or interest in me or my problem. Be warned!

Professional, efficient and friendly service!
If you want to have a good carpeting service, ask for Les Farrington at Carpeteria. He is very professional, informative and friendly. Due to recent constructions in our newly purchased house, we required a large amount of carpet and multiple installations. Carpeteria catered to our needs without any problem.
If we ever need more carpet or hardwood floor, we sure will return to Carpeteria.
