I put off making an appointment for far too long. Never again! Dr. Dean, and his entire staff, were all so friendly, knowledgeable, and went far above the call of duty to ensure that both my wife, Cathy, and I, were more than happy as we left.
Dr. Dean took more than ample time to examine both of us, answered all of our questions, and explained everything that we needed to do to ensure our optical health from here on out. This gent actually made our visit fun, and laughter-​filled.

I am 42 years old and have been wearing contacts since I was in high school. Throughout my life my eyes began to get worse do to the fact that I was wearing my contacts ²⁴⁄₇. Went to see dr Dean and he recommended that I use hard lenses to sleep with and then take them out in the morning. I didn’t need any contacts or glasses during the day or at night. I just put the hard contacts before I go to bed and take them off in the morning. My vision is better that ²⁰⁄₂₀! Thanks doc, I’m very pleased that you were able to help me!

Had my first appointment at this office, I absolutely loved it. Had a great experience. The doctor was so pleasant and took the time to educate me on my eye health. The office is very nice and clean. Large selection of designer eye wear and plenty of staff to help you. For anyone looking an office that accepts Spectra (insurance), I highly recommend this office.

Dr Le was very nice and explained everything to me about my eye exam. Millie was super super helpful in helping me decide on my glasses and sunglasses. Good experience!

I went here last year to get a new pair of glasses. All was well and good until I needed an adjustment on my frames (a little loose) I took them in this October. Nicky helped me out and I explained I just needed the ear piece bent. She took my glasses and came back a couple minutes later. I put them on and immediately noticed my lenses looked cracked. I showed her and her first reaction was «are you sure they weren’t like this before?» No, they weren’t, you just fried my lenses when you tried to bend the frames! And they were bent so much it looked like I was looking through fish eye lens. Upon our complaint with this, she did offer to get us replacement lenses at no cost under our own warranty; except shipping. As for the frames that was another story. They were still under warranty but did not know when they would be in stock. I went ahead and placed order. Two phone calls, and three weeks later I still had no replacement. Lenses had come in but no date expected for frames. Extremely upset with our service; We went in person and spoke directly with Dr Le. Upon hearing all this he offered at no charge a new pair of frames with the lens. An hour later I had my glasses. But, vision still seemed off the next week. I resorted to my old pair again. I took the new glasses to my regular eye doctor and they checked the prescription. Both lenses were way off!!! The left eye was too high and the right lens was too thin. So, now I’m out $ 400 for a pair of glasses that could have been solved with competent staff with knowledge of how to treat glasses, lenses, and customers. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone.

I’ve been going to Dr. Le for a number of years. Always have a good experience. They have evening hours so it’s easy to get in without taking time off work. They’re in a shopping center next to a book store and a couple other shops so if they’re running seriously behind, you can wander around instead of waiting in their shop.

This will be my 1^st appointment for myself an my kids an I’ve gotta say the lady I spoke with was very helpful and friendly an got our appointment for next week. I’ve heard the eye doctors here are wonderful, we have gone to another eye doctor an I’ve been happy with them till a few months ago. Feel when I took my 7 yr old for an eye exam about a yr ago he wasn’t kid friendly an felt he check up wasn’t as well as it should have been. So I’m hoping we have bettr service here @ eyecC optometry which I believe we will I’ve heard nothing but good about them. Monday after my daughter’s appointment I will come back an leave another review of what I thought an how her appointment went. :)

Dr. Dean Le was negligent in diagnosing me with a stye and had me return for office visits and no helpful care. I had to request a referral, and due to his lack of proper treatment I had to have surgery and now I have a scar under my eye. What is even more upsetting, is that when he referred me he wrote a completely different diagnoses to the new center… basically he knew what I had and never treated that.
Not only was Dr. Le negligent, his office staff was completely insensitive. I returned for two visits with an eye growth that had grown double its size and very infected, and his receptionist greeted me both times with, «I can’t imagine why you are here!» I was feeling very self-​conscious with the appearance of my eye already and her comment was completely sarcastic and not professional.
I will NEVER return there nor recommend this office to ANYONE! My co-​worker also had a bad experience there around the same time with getting glasses… it took months for her and they never got it right.
Dr. Dan Le may be friendly, but definitely not qualified or compassionate.

Dr. Dean and his staff are amazing! It is always a pleasure to come in for my appointments. On one occasion they even offered to buy the patients Starbucks while we waited to be seen. Talk about going above and beyond! Dr. Dean is patient, friendly, and answers all your questions. He always makes sure I have what need wether its solution for my contacts or a simple cleaning cloth. EyeC is the best eye care services I have ever had, they really make you feel like family. Would not go anywhere else. I recommend EyeC to all my friends and family.

The staff members at Eye-​C are always friendly and helpful and appear to really like their work. Dr. Le is friendly and always up-​to-​date on the latest technology and explains everything very thoroughly. He is very patient when answering all my questions and seems to truly enjoy sharing his knowledge.
Besides being friendly they are also very efficient. Being open until 4:30 on Saturdays, to me anyway, means that they really want to offer every convenience for their patients. And they also have a great frame selection!

I’ve got to knock it down. My daughter was in a major car accident and her glasses flew off her face and out the window. We found them crushed in the street the next day. She called EyeC and asked if we could order the same glasses & Rx. Seems easy. They said they’d call back and never did. We even explained the whole situation to them. A day or so later she called and got the VM and left a message. No call back. We ended up going to Walmart. Having the Rx transferred was a whole other ordeal which took over an hour of waiting for a fax at Walmart and a trip to EyeC, then back to Walmart.

Very thorough, very nice doc with great insight and recommendations. Did more than any prior optometrist has ever done.

Dr is very friendly and professional. He truly cares about his patients and works extremely hard to ensure that all their needs are met. I was a very difficult contact lense fitting. My eyes just didn’t want to work with numerous lenses. Dr went out of his way to order multiple more trial sets. After numerous follow up visits, we finally found solutions. Above and beyond what he needed to do. Im very happy.

i came to dr. dean’s office because of Unilocal review. i really want to try some place different. wow, dr. dean is awesome and funny. Dr. Dean is very patient and he makes sure to answer all your questions during the examination. The most importance is Dr. dean listens to you. He has all the equipments that i have never seen at my other optometrist in town. Those pictures he took of my eyes about the sun damages was amazing. the cool thing about dr. dean is that he is down to earth, and he remembers all the patient names. HIs office has the most frames in town, and the office is always busy. Make sure you make an appointment for your eye appointment otherwise the wait is lil bit long. This is the best place for your eyes care. Thank you dr. dean.

Once again, Dean, Diane and crew went the extra mile. To make sure my new glasses fit just right they screened and rejected the first pair delivered back from the technician. The pair they approved are the best pair of glasses I have owned. Moving to Capitola but will always go to EyeC for my vision needs.

My partner and I have been patients of Dr. Dean for a few years now and we absolutely love his practice!
He and his staff are always caring, patient and knowledgeable when it comes to our health and needs. Their selection of frames are top notch and they carry a great variety of high-​end designers to choose from. They take the time to answer all your questions and seem to take a genuine interest in their patients satisfaction. Last year we were going on a cruise and Dr. Dean and staff made it a point to have my sunglasses ready just in time for my trip, even on such short notice.

Pros:
— Dr. Dean is caring, giving and treats you like you’re one of his relatives. While I was there he purchased his entire staff AND customers anything they wanted from Starbucks, pretty cool.
— Staff are young but they’re all very helpful.
— Nice office with good selection. I had some extra money in my HSA and was able to find a nice pair of sunglasses from Dr. Dean’s showcase and decided to add a prescription to them, very good.
Cons:
— I’m from San Jose, so the commute kind of sucks for me.

Came here with the recommendation of my friend. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Dr Dean is very thorough and answers all your questions and concerns. They also have a referral program, with every person you send for an exam you get 20 bucks towards your next purchase.
How does this office stay in business with all these ppl expecting discounts on top of the program?! Comon ppl! Help out the local economy. LOL.
Costco is cheap and fast but quality is worth much more that quantity. Ill stick with the better stuff :) Ill definitely be coming back here for my annual exam.
